4.5
We love the location, the beds, the sofas, the pool, the sport's facilities, the bar, the grounds, the ease of parking, the tranquillity, the shed, the recycling facilities.
We've been before and love it. However this year, the apartment had a few issues. Most notable, was the broken window glass in the main bedroom which meant we couldn't open it, a problem with the fabulous weather we had. Secondly, the sliding bedroom door wouldn't slide easily and lastly the fridge door was missing a shelf!
5.0
Great apartment and surroundings.
Nothing really except that the bikes we hired on site were not very well maintained.
4.2
The apartments are spacious and reasonably well equipped. They are
located in a tranquil area, yet only 10 minutes walk to the beach. Our
kids liked the swimming pool but it's quite small and they quickly
got bored.
On arrival we were asked for a security deposit of 100 euros, this
isn't mentioned in the description. We paid this by credit card but
were refunded in cash at the end of our stay. Apparently they were
unable to refund back to the credit card. We were a bit surprised that
our apartment had no towels, this isn't mentioned in the
description. Luckily we were able to buy cheap towels in nearby
Nieuwpoort . The beds are very soft and we found them uncomfortable.
Even though the WiFi reception was generally good, there was often no
internet so we ended up using much more mobile data than should be
necessary. At the end of our stay we were unable to find any bins and
ended up bringing our waste back to the uk.
