The location of the hotel is perfect, close to so many touristic places, close to tram and metro stations and lot of facilities and restaurants are around.
The room was too small, the bed almost took the whole room, no place to put my bags and no desk or table, just bed in the whole room.

It was a very basic room where you cannot complain about anything nor make any compliments. Basic bed with private bathroom is all you get. While bed was not that comfortable, bathroom was brand-new looking and clean.
Good value for money; good and fairly accessible location in walking distance to Amsterdam attractions.
My expectations weren't high so the stay has met them. But having a kettle and other stuff to make tea/coffee could have made the stay more comfortable.
And there was a steep staircase that is not mentioned in the hotel's advert but could be an issue if you have mobility problems. I added a photo below.

Location was amazing. Good spot in the city, easy to walk and near public transit. Employees were nice, and helped carry luggage on the super steep stairs. They let us use a fan for to the heat, but it was not sufficient.
Very steep stairs, no AC and limited window access, tiny bathroom with no extra toilet paper (we ran out in our 3 night stay). First room wasn't cleaned so we moved up a flight of stairs, where there was no towels, and I had to walk down and back up the crazy stairs for both of these problems.

the room was so clean and location was perfect
the steep steps . we were on the 4th floor but really wasn’t a problem once we got used to it , and it was stated in the description

Good location, close enough to the city center and especially the Rijksmuseum. The hotel is on a busy street with trams, but our room faced the alley at the back and - contrary to our fears - there was no noise at night. The stairs were very steep, but that's what we expected in a period building in Amsterdam, so no complaints there. The staff was always nice and friendly, they let us drop our suitcase off well before check in and also leave it there for a few hours after check out. Free beverages available during reception hours.
The room was literally the size of a bed, with a tiny margin around it - plus a fairly spacious (~1sq.m.) walk-in shower with the door swollen with moisture, and a miniature toilet with a tiny washbasin. No towel rails or even hooks, no shelves, just bare walls with traces of nails or screws (disassembled equipment...?). We saw another room that was much bigger, so - you might be lucky.
To sum up - it's an emergency option for someone who - like ourselves - only needs a hot shower and a quiet place to sleep for two or three nights, but for this standard - the price is insolent. Welcome to Amsterdam.

Super comfy beds and friendly staff, alot of shampoo
Couldnt open the window, the hotel was a bit far from everything, the shower was weak, also in our 4 days stay there was no cleaning at 11am

The location is great, though someone might find the main street noisy, but I did not. Although my single room was tiny, I could use the dining/reception room when I needed some more space. Besides, there was free coffee available there until midnight, which I really appreciated as well as the free wi-fi connection. The staff was nice, helpful and always present. I enjoyed my stay there.

when arriving we were told there was no room allocated to us despite us paying and booking. luckily the hostel could fit us in and didn’t over book themselves

The staff was kind, the location is good ,5 minutes walk from the albert market and 3 min to the metro station.
The room was too small it cant fit even 1 person, there was no place to put the luggage,no closet to keep the clothes, you can hear the noises of the footsteps of the people.
they gave us a room in the 4th floor and the stairs were like a slide you can easily falldown(no elevator)
actually it felt more like a cage or prison than a room hotel.

the pictures does not justify the place, room was not clean & the bed had hair on mattress which grossed us out

Actually we were very lucky because, in base to the availability in that moment, they give to us a 6 room with toilet (all the room wi the tv, bathroom and towels ) even if we booked a doble room with shared toilette.
Furthermore the staff at the reception is very nice and helpful .
Amazing location - it’s located around 12 min from the center city .
The bathroom was clean enough but the beds not as much , I strongly recommend to bring your own pillow covers - as I did - because pillows were quite dirty.
There are 4 floors but there isn’t any elevator and stairs are really steep.

Fine location, close to the bus and tram stop, to the museum area and city centre.
I didn't like anything about this place except for the location.
It's rubbish and the staff barely exists and speaks English.
The bedroom was absolutely disgusting. Two single beds with bad mattresses, no wardrobe (just one chair for two people).
The bathroom as so small that even sitting on the toiler was complicated and the door didn't close at all.
The shower (separated from the WC) didn't have any hanger for towels nor clothes.
A horrible overall experience and I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody who cares about hygiene, personal space and basic comfort.
