This is a lovely hotel positioned right in the centre of the village.

A warm welcome. lovely relaxed feel. very comfortable and spotlessly clean room. great central location. stunning view.
not a dislike more of a suggestion. A mini bar with some cold drinks would have been welcome.
4.5
charming boutique hotel, best visited out of high season.

The room had no separate bathroom: the toilet, the shower and the sink were separated from the bed area by a light curtain.
The furniture was outdated (especially the shower was dirty and very old) and the floor was cracking at every step.
The breakfast was poor and really expensive given the offer.

Fantastic room with a lovely view of the town square

friendly staff, very kind and nothing too much trouble. Homely feel, warm and cosy. Location perfect, close to bus stop, restaurants and shops. Walking distance to gondola.

We stayed here previously in the summer and wanted to return in winter - which was a great idea! The location is perfect for exploring the village of St Gervais and is only a c.10min walk from the main ski lift to the slopes. Set in a historic building, the rooms have been tastefully re-done and the bed is incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was a real highlight, with excellent choice and delicious local produce - plus the hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful independent, family run hotel.
Found a great balance between retaining the historic feel of the building, whilst modernising with authenticity.
Creaking original floorboards alongside a massive selection loose leaf teas at breakfast ! Located in the heart of one of the Alp’s best mountain towns.
look no further !!!

We had a beautiful upgraded room which we were not expecting. The hotel was cosy and unique, run by a family there were lovely little touches like home made yoghurt.
There was nothing not to like.
4.5
The fact that it was a family run business and it felt really homely and relaxed
There wasn't anything I didn't like

The host and the location is exceptional. We had a nice breakfast and the place feels very homey for me. We will def come back.
Just the creaking sound on the floor when other guest are walking.

No one answers the online message after the booking. No one answers the phone when we needed help in the evening. We did not feel much effort from the hotel to help the guests in this sense.
4.5
Small hotel with family atmosphere in the city center. Free public parking at a distance of 100 m. We always found free parking slot. The room was clean, silent and well equipped, we missed nothing. You can look forward to fresh backed croissants for breakfast.

Toilet in the same room only isolated by curtains

We booked Budget Double Room, which was (surprisingly) spacious. However, the bathroom is incorporated into the room, giving additional space. We hiked on mountains so the hot shower, and comfortable bed with a selection of pillows was precious. Breakfast was delicious and included in the price of the room.
The breakfast is served from 8 am to 10 am only. If you want to catch good conditions in the mountains you should leave the hotel before 8 am and there was no option for "breakfast-to-go" nor it was not deducted from the price. A small fridge would be advantage for keeping drinks and snackes in cool.

We were bikebacking through the Alps and bad weather hit us hard. It was a super cosy stay, with a safe place for our bikes und where we dried our clothes. Thank you very much !
Best wishes

super helpful owner and a great atmosphere. location was excellent.
we hope to return but would upgrade the room type

Super clean, hot shower, comfortable bed with selection of pillows and kettle in room. The owner and her family run a professional and wonderful hotel and serve great homemade breakfasts. They had all the information needed by guests ie off street parking and laundry facilities etc. There are PowerPoints by the bed for CPAP machines.
No fridge in the room or on the floor, this is especially nice on multi nights stays. Having said I only saw a fridge in a hotel room twice in four weeks of travelling through France.

Very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

The breakfast was awful and could have been so much better. The pastries were burnt, the coffee in a flask and not hot. No fruit Lacked imagination
The bathroom was tiny

Ate out for breakfast, very good

the owners are super friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is located in the city center and only one bus stop away from the ski area

A lovely, friendly, clean hotel in a perfect location. It has a lot of rustic charm and some of the small extras were exceptional. We particularly loved the Valentine's gift!!
As this is an old property the floorboards are very squeaky! We were glad to be on the top floor with no-one above us (although 3 flights of stairs after a full day skiing was hard work!)
3.5
The location is great, close to restaurants and ski rental. The owner is very friendly and helpful
A bathroom / toilet has no door that is not comfortable for 2 people. Wood floor in a room and stairs are very noisy
2.5
The hotel was in a nice position, right in the middle of town and convenient for restaurants and bars
The photos of the rooms did not reflect the rooms allocated to us. The toilet facilities were not very private and I was glad it was a single occupancy! The stairway was a bit ropey and the floors were very creaky meaning it was clear to hear other residents coming and going.

The location is right in the town centre. It’s furnished with very good taste, with comfortable beds and wonderful bed linens. Fresh and tasty breakfast and the owners are very attentive and suggested us a couple of beautiful hikes up the mountains closeby
