The gardens are beautiful and breathtaking. Staff always working on the grounds. Pool was heated. The views are stunning. The rooms are big. Having a restaurant with a view was a plus. Friendly staff. Public bus runs on main street. We were able to pay for late check out.
The furniture is very dated and worn out. The couch was very uncomfortable to sit. The desk chair was broken. No microwave or mini fridge. The bathroom is old and needs repairs. The shower leaks all day and night. Stains on the tub. The glass shower door was not ideal. One door is not moveable. The tub was so high for stepping in. Foul smell coming from the toilet, the door had to be closed all day. Towels are worn. No pool towels. The dresser drawers were broken so we couldn't store our clothes.
Safety issues: There's non hotel registered guest coming in and out the premises to the restaurant. They like to walk around the gardens and peak though the windows into the rooms. Making it scary and uncomfortable. This hotel also hosts weddings and big parties so you have staff walking around showing the place while you are by the pool or in the gardens. On this trip only adults went but I won't be bringing little ones with so many people coming in and out. Hard to get a parking spot. A lot of traffic noise if you are by the pool due to the parking being next to it.
The pool was dirty.
They have no airport shuttle. They will call a taxi or uber for you.

The premise very nice, clean and great view.
The room and bathroom are a bit run down.

This is a beautiful, well-maintained old inn in a spectacular location surrounded by the most exquisite and immaculate gardens imaginable. The restaurant has jaw-dropping views, excellent service from the wait staff (Carlos and Alejandro among the best) and a nice menu. The weekend buffet was a great value. We loved the gardens and the loving care shown by the gardener. The lady who did the laundry was prompt and patient, very nice. The location was choice, close enough to walk to town, very safe, and near the excellent zoo, where we spent 5 fantastic hours.
The only real negative was the Thursday evening male cashier, who was smug, rude, and refused to assist with a payment transaction. The other staff gave impeccable service and worked very well together to give guests the best experience possible.

I love this hotel...I stay here every time I pass through Morelia...it's elegant, with a garden, quiet and restful...also good restaurants around and a short 60 pesos Uber or taxi to the historical centre .. staff are amazing

The pool was closed and we decided not to stay because it was the main reason we chose this place. The hotel staff charged us anyway even though we changed hotels.

I like the place a lot, it's next to really good restaurants and the restaurant on site is pretty good....some rooms are better than others, bigger than others, and staff are very accomodating..

Excellent. Anita (breakfast) and Don Carlos (dinner) are exceptional staff. The view, the service, the menu, the staff is fantastic.
Installing a ramp to have access to the restaurant will be very helpful.

The hotel was beautiful. The upkeep of the gardens were amazing. Beautiful views. Excellent restaurant. We were beyond pleased and loved our stay. The staff was friendly and the price was unbeatable.
A few too many steps for my elderly mother. But she managed. It would be nice to have a little more handicap access.

Location and grounds were good.
Very old style/furnishing. We were also disturbed by maintenance works outside our room early in the morning which didn't stop despite a call to reception,

We appreciated the upgrade to the Suite Azalea, which made it special. Spectacular Views and beautiful grounds along with great service and a capable restaurant made it a winner. Quiet safe residential neighborhood. Definitely will be returning. Excellent location to enjoy Morelia.

the old hacienda feeling, full of gardens
the only thing missing is a heater in the room, it was a very cold cold night

it is a very beautiful place, view is spectacular,
restaurant have excellent food.
Right place to be.
I am traveling with my dog and this is not a pet friendly hotel. they charge a lot of money for a dog and give nothing for a dog, like plate to drink water .
for that reason I will not come back. Mexican culture is still far from accepting dogs, it’s a shame.

Nice restaurant with great views. Staff very helpful.
The room had no air conditioner / heat pump nor any heater and was very cold. They kindly gave us an electric blanket so we could sleep well but the room was freezing.

Breakfast was good, service excellent!
Water pressure, wait 10 minutes for hot water, electrical outlets are too few and some did not work. When we booked we were supposed to have a view of the garden and the city. We had 2 rooms, we had neither.
