Gerne, sehr gerne immer wieder!!!

Staff were extremely pleasant. Food was delicious and you can hear the waves crashing onto the beach from your bed!

This was our favourite place to stay on our 19 day trip to Crete by far! The brothers running this place are amazing - they made our stay incredibly special. We got there a day late because of problems getting into the gorge and they immediately refunded us without us even knowing....so kind! The bedrooms are so clean, neat and modern. The balcony has a great view of the sea. Bed was very comfy and we slept 9 hours straight! The restaurant below is open all day and they make the most delicious, well priced food that we ended up eating lunch, dinner and breakfast there. We noticed they had their own chickens so our omelette was very fresh! Agia Roumeli is so relaxing and understated - it was such a treat to get to stay there after Samaria Gorge. Definitely stay and eat here - you won't regret it.
Nothing not to like!

Really helpful host, with nice restaurant part of the hotel.
Modern and clean room, everything was perfect, at the center of the village, a wonderful spot to rest after Samaria Gorge

went straight to the hotel from the boat and was escorted to the property by the owner who gave us the keys on arrival
we loved being away from the main house/taverna but other people might be disappointed to find that the/we were in 'my other property' a shirt walk away from the hotel

Beds was comfortable and room was clean.
We were assigned to the new rooms in an annexe building, while we would have preferred to stay at the main site.

Everything! The new apartment-room with all details, the incredible view from the terrace restaurant, the amazing food (We ended up having breakfast, dinner and lunch), the warmth, kindness of the family running the business (father and 2 brothers; I wanted info about Samaria gorge and they helped me out on the telephone before our arrival). We had the feeling during 2 days of desconnection in a hidden paradise.
Just the A/C. We had problems to make it work, but, to be honest, We didn't tell the owners (they would have certainly helped us as they did when the water was cut off in the village and they solved it in 5min).

The Hotel is recently renovated and really very well cleaned.
The room is not big but it has a looking that make you feel to be in a more expensive hotel and it has everything you need inside.
The balcony was cute with a nice sea view on the beach, because the hotel has the first position in front of the tiny harbor of Agia Roumeli.
The family staff was kind and quite helpful on providing informations.
Their restaurant was good and probably one of the best where you can eat in Agia Roumeli.

We loved everything about this accommodation. The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable (including the beds) with tasteful furnishment. This family run hotel also has a taverna which is equally wonderful and serves very tasty food.
The hosts are very friendly and extremely helpful with everything.
We had an exceptionally great experience and will always book the Calypso again, whenever our travel plans will bring us back to Agia Roumeli.
