The staff were friendly and accommodating.
We arrived quite late at 1am. Check-in was smooth, but the toom they gave us first was right next to the elevator and had no wardrobe space whatsoever. It was so late we decided to just go to bed and see what we can change the room in the morning. Just before breakfast, we spoke to one of the receptionists, and without hesitation, she gave us a different room, which was very spacious and had a small kitchenette. We needed a bit of space for our 8 day stay.
The breakfast buffet is just inadequate.
It's pretty basic with 3 fruits to choose from. Sandwich and some days, you might get eggs and refried beans. No toasters, just plain white bread to think that IHG wanted an extra £300 for breakfast for our 8 days stay was mind-blowing. The only good thing happened that they were kind enough to my partner to have cooked breakfast as he's a coeliac and had to eat Gluten Free, which I requested at the time of the booking.

Amazin hotel for the price. Everything is beautiful and very helpful staff. Loved the whole experience.
The only bad thing I can say is that the area is not very nice. There are not many restaurants around in a walking distance as other hotels I have stayed in GDL. You would have to take a cab or Uber to go around.

Nice place, great service, room service was good too. The bed and the facilities are perfect. Good value for the price, i definitely recommend to stay at IHG.
Noisy, especially because they have a rooftop with bad music selection going on till late.

Extremely comfortable installations, clean and fresh water available, hot water on shower 24/7, extremely good reception service.
Buffet food wasn't that tasty.

Location and pricing was good
Cold - lukewarm shower. TV and channels need upgrading for international clients. The hotel entrance is under restoration so very dirty and not up to Hilton standards

I don’t know
they had no rooms when I arrived because they are having a remodel so they said we were going to stay at another place that would honor our reservation price but the other place charged us more and gave us two rooms instead of a family suite like we reserved

Location was convenient for us
It is hard to know where to start with the faults of this hotel. Perhaps the quality of sleep, the rooftop bar blasts music that echoes down the open channel of floors below, where everyone rooms circulates. So you can never have an early night, which is really bad when you have multiple 6am starts to your day limiting you to a best case scenario of 6 hours sleep. But that's only if one person in the whole hotel is not loud. Usually you are only subject to disruption of other guests sharing your corridor but here you are subjected to the disturbance of all guests. Especially those who ring the reception desk phone as this echoes through the hotel like an alarm at all hours of the day and night. The breakfast staff will wake up by 7am, switching on the televisions to echo through the entire hotel, along with food trolleys and the slow increase of other guests having breakfast. We had 4 nights here, with breakfast but after the first breakfast, we never went back. Waste of money, minimal choices, poor taste and the waitors expressed their interest in a tip. People and staff park in the lay-by just off of the main road, so when you arrive by taxi you have to survive the traffic. The bed was broken, I could keep going on but just try the Riu round the corner instead! They couldn't even get the complimentary coffee right in the rooms.

Nice spacious rooms. Nice design. Comfy beds
Noisy on Friday and Saturday night.
Breakfast exclusively Mexican without explanatory labels , not easy for a foreigner.

Very nice and comfortable hotel. Food was also good.
We requested a band aid and we were informed that the first aid kit was out of band aids 😰
