Location.
Breakfast already removed by 9.45 when we arrived even though it said until 10.00.

Fantastic hotel! Perfect if you are driving (you can drop the bags inside the ZTL – restricted traffic zone – when you check in and get them when you checkout) and park – free, in May – ate the Port Parking, a short walk in front of the hotel.
Services were outstanding, specially at the reception, where they gave us a lot of information about the town, maps, how to park the car, and helped with the (heavy) baggage.
Location could not be better, at walking distance to all the attractions, churches and restaurants.
Room – sea view, which I strongly recommend – was very good: comfortable, great view (apart from the parking just below, but the horizon and the fishing boats returning in the afternoon and mooring just in front were beautiful). However, the shower box was too small.
The worst part was the wi-fi, we couldn´t connect in the room, too week.
Breakfast should be improved: only one person cleaning tables, serving a good Italian coffee (espresso, cappuccino, etc) and replenishing the reasonable buffet was not enough: he worked a lot, but at the end it was slow and there were missing items in the buffet. Charging extra for an orange juice was also not nice.
Shower box was too small.

Perfectly located in the old part of the city, near the castle and facing the sea. The room was large and well lit with a very comfy bed. There was free parking nearby if you're traveling by car, and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. We ate an incredible meal at the restaurant, it was probably the best seafood we've had on this trip.

Location and the very helpful staff
the wifi was very intermittent

Location is superb being on the island - separate from mainland Gallipoli.
The hotel and staff were excellent - very friendly and helpful BUT a single room is often the cause of much disappointment usually because they are VERY small as is the case here

location and breakfast
the room was uncomfortable, not very bright and the heating didn’t work

The Staff was exceptionally nice, the Spritz are delicious.
A/C is covered by the curtains - so either you get cold air or darkness.

The hotel is ideally situated, close to everything, parking was also easy.
I did feel that the breakfast room was extremely hot and would have been pleasant if air conditioning was used.

Traditional but modernised old building in convenient position for old town, beach, restaurants and plentiful parking on the port nearby (apparently free!). Good restaurant too. Very helpful staff with good English.
Nothing - all good.

Check and helpful staff on the desk who sorted our car parking. The view from our room was good.
Room was hot and stuffy. The air conditioning did not work.

This is a lovely family hotel with really friendly and helpful staff in a fab location. We have stayed before and will stay again. Breakfast is simple but fresh and ample and they make a great coffee.
The rooms are little tiered and lack modern facilities. It doesn't have a huge impact on our stay as we are not in the hotel for much time but they would benefit from an upgrade and, given the location, they could be the premier hotel in the area.

Ambience is excellent. Staff is very courteous.
Property is well maintained. Enjoyed every bit of my stay at Al Pescatore.

The breakfast was good. Fruit however was rather sparse. Coffee and tea (americano coffee) not that pleasant. However, room had tea making facilities and fridge so very easy to make a hot drink in the room. It was a pleasant surprise to have this as not many hotels in Italy provide a kettle etc in the room!
Overall, we were very pleased with the facilities and the friendliness of the staff. Room was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided.

An excellent stay with a superb central location on Gallipoli island near to everything, and good parking close by.
The breakfast is very varied and and the restaurant is of a very high standard, but what made our stay was the attention of the staff, especially Pia, the hotel manager who personally organised our day at the hotel’s beach affiliation, gave us a room with a sea view and made sure we were looked after.
We would definitely return..
Only issue was it the wi-fi in our room didn’t work but this wasn’t a big issue as we made most of our time exploring Gallipoli
