About this house rental

A space of calm, peace and serenity and only a stones throw to the beach.

The Salt Shaker is best suited to couples or a family of four.

We have free unlimited WiFi connected for guest use.
Catch up on your Netflix or Stan viewing by accessing your account on our smart tv 😊

All bed linen and bath towels are supplied for your stay.
We recommend you to bring your own beach towels as we do not provide these.

Bed configuration is:
Bedroom 1: 1 x Queen Bed
Bedroom 2: 1 x Double Bed
Bedroom 3: 1 x Double Bed

The property has a split system air conditioner which provides either heating or cooling, ceiling fans, an en-suite style bathroom, timber floors to the main living areas and carpet to bedrooms.

Books, magazines and games.

The house is a NON SMOKING property. Please don't smoke inside.

Caravans are not permitted on site.

The rear yard is fully fenced and your dog (s) are very welcome to come along and have a holiday with you. Yes, we are pet friendly - your well behaved, toilet trained dog(s) or cat is welcome inside! However, if they are likely to jump on the couch or beds, please bring a sheet or blanket to protect the furniture and bedding.

Property was clean, bright and contained everything we needed for a partially wet weekend. Highly recommend this property, the attention to detail was outstanding and our pups had plenty to explore between the beach and the garden. Will be returning without a doubt. Many thanks to our hosts.

Spent 3 nights at this property. Very comfortable and easy to feel at home. Owner was great to communicate with. Our dog loves the backyard as did I. Fully fenced out the back and fence hight was perfect as it was high. Front of property also fenced. House was super clean. Bed was comfortable. Awsome being able to use the dishwasher and have a break from doing them manually at home. Everything you need was there. Thank you for having us.

Had a fabulous & relaxing stay at The Salt Shaker Beach Shack. The fur children enjoyed the big back yard & we were lucky with the weather ☀️. Beach is close enough to walk to Well appointed & has everything you need. If I have one complaint it’s that the shower could be better with stronger water coming out of the shower head but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the property. Many Thanks

By far the most puppy friendly property we have found. A safe secure front and backyard with no hidden nasties including NO grass seeds. For the people it was perfect too - very comfortable with all the required appliances, utensils …. We are definitely going to visit again with our Goldies, Digby and Gordon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property is fenced off in the front and backyard meaning your four legged family members can wander around freely and you can feel completely comfortable knowing they are safe. The property has everything you need from cutlery, crockery, cookware, books, games, bedding, linen and amenities. Everything was fresh and clean, check in was easy, and communication was top notch from beginning to end. A brilliant location, walking distance to the beach and very close to the main street of Middleton. Middleton is a great location with Port Elliot, Goolwa and Victor Harbor only a short drive away. Thanks for having us, we will be back 😊

Location was brilliant, the yard huge (we have dogs), so clean and had lots of extras that made the stay really enjoyable. The beds were some of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on while holidaying. It has everything you need for a vacation with family. Everything went smoothly and the house suited our needs perfectly. Would highly recommend to everyone!!
