Beautiful property
Missing some small but standard bed and breakfast items; no kettle in room, only 1 pillow per person, shower was lukewarm and low pressure
4.5
Hostess was amazing
Briefed us on the places to eat
Lovely breakfast, she was flexible since we did not preorder
The spiral stair case was a bit of a challenge
4.5
Beautiful spot with lovely views, very clean room and very friendly owners - very keen to help
Very small point but could do with a bit more water pressure in the shower!

Lovely family feel
Checkout too early at 10am & too late checkin at 4pm

Food and isolation.
I only stayed a night. I found nothing wrong.
4.5
Very comfortable bed.
Those with reduced mobility should note that the upstairs bedrooms are accessed through a spiral staircase.

Lovely comfortable room, very welcoming and helpful, very relaxed atmosphere.

beautiful remote property close to Athlone. host was extremely friendly and allowed us to check in early.

absolutely gorgeous
nothing

A lovely place just outside Athlone. Stayed to visit family, not in it as much as I would have liked
4.5
Lovely quiet location
No tea/coffee facilities in bedroom, unable to get a hot shower, considered the stairs dangerous (tight spiral) and worst of all being asked to PAY extra if we wanted breakfast. When did breakfast become an extra option at a B&B. No mention when booking.
4.5
The setting was nice though tricky to find.
Staying at someones home when they are there.
Bath with no plug. No tea/coffee facilities in the room , limited supplies accessible in a communal lounge

Very quiet peaceful setting. Close to nearest town. Clean room. Very friendly host. Location was great. Gardens were fantastic. Spiral staircase a little off-putting for carrying luggage up and down but overall a good experience.
Breakfast wasn't served u till 8.30 so not suitable for those having to be in work at nine. Or needing to travel. Therefore felt not great value for money if booking in at 5.30pm only to leave early nxt morning. Felt for one night for those travelling for work was very overpriced.

The host''s were absolutely amazing. The location and cosmetics of the property were lovely.
Im so so sorry if this review seems critical. However, I have to be honest. We were sincerely disappointed. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in our room. The tea and coffee were limited, and no herbal teas were available. The kettle was situated in a very compromising health and safety postion on a cramped lamp table. Breakfast was lovely, but the fruit salad looked like it had been left out too long as the fruit was turning dark. The fry up could have benefitted from having beans to make it a little wet as it was quite dry. On the bed there was only 1 pillow, which was very flat. Would be nice if we had the option of two pillows or a thicker pillow. The bath mat was mouldy underneath. I struggled to sleep due to the noise from conversations downstairs. Rooms could benefit from a fridge. I have stayed in other bnbs, and I sincerely feel that this one was extremely overpriced for what you got.

Absolutely stunning property, the view from the room was gorgeous. The house was amazing, the bedroom was nice, bed was super comfy. The owners were very nice and welcoming. The house is not far from Athlone. Would highly suggest staying here.
check in times could be more flexible, we had to check in before 18 and so we had to rush our whole day to make it on time
a kettle in the room instead of a shared on would be nice

Our hostess was very accommodating and kind. The traditional Irish breakfast was wonderful. The rooms were neat and clean. Very enjoyable stay.

I believe the staircase up to the room which is a tight spiral staircase should be highlighted as we had been travelling for over a week it was not easy to climb with large suitcases. There are tea-making facilities but only in the lounge for everyone and no where to fill the kettle. This spoilt my stay as I brought extra tea and milk and was planning a quiet night in. I did in fact explain to the owner on arrival I drank a lot of tea. I did not wish to trek to the lounge and was conscious of leaving water for others. The Wi-Fi needed to connect in the lounge but kept cutting out resulting on my walking as quietly as I could on a wooden floor backwards and forwards to try and reset it. In the end I gave up. The room is small and only one bedside table. It would be useful to provide guests with the Wi-Fi in the room to save the owners being disturbed. The showertiles could benefit from a revamp. Breakfast is extra which I was aware of,the fruit salad was particularly tasty although it was difficult to preorder as one doesn’t always know what one wants on arrival. The arrival and departure times although ok for us are quiet limiting. we struggled to get the tv operational(I am not ancient)and it would benefit from a laminated sheet available to this end. The scenery was nice. The attic window was a jar and due to its height I was unable to shut it. I did mention some of this to the owner on departure and in case people think I just moan all our other stays booked this week were10/10

This B&B has to be the most beautiful, tranquil place i have ever stayed. Its peaceful, beautiful and cosy.
Only 10 mins away from Athlone centre, would suggest you need to be able to drive to get anywhere, failing that use Rogers Taxis 😀. The B&B owners very friendly and polite. About an hour from Galway using Toll roads too! Our room overlooked the horse paddock which was beautiful to wake up too every morning. The barn Cat was a bonus - if you stay here please give little Toby a fuss - He is so cute 😍 ❤️. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal and the choice of a full Irish breakfast or scrambled egg on toast. High quality and very filling to set you up for the day. We ordered pizzas one night from Athlone centre- Apache Pizzas are the best! Rooms are spotlessly clean & comfortable.
My mum is 64 and has bad knees, along with being terrified of heights, so the spiral staircase was abit of a challenge for her, but after a couple of days she was absolutley fine 🙂.

House a bit off the beaten track (eircode worked perfectly) but in beautiful surroundings. I looked out the window to see a horse and a foal in the adjacent field. Gardens beautiful too.
Nothing.
