The key code didn't work on arrival. We were locked out the next day before we were given a working key code. No compensation provided.

Well equipped kitchen and spacious.
The toaster was broken. Some of the beddings have lots of loose fluff.

The condo was clean, neat, and tidy. Easy to get the key out of the box. Responsive when I had to call to ask about A/C. Convenient location
Although they had fans it would have been nice to know ahead of time there was NO A/C ( it was 85 inside- to hot to sleep) NO windows upstairs. The property lists beds for 7 but there were on towels for 4...no extra for the other 3 people. The ice maker in the fridge was frozen over and the lights in both bathrooms shut down on the 2nd day- I called but no answer- Thankfully one of us found the breaker box behind the picture in the hall and flipped the switch so we had lights. Parking after 6 PM was an issue...no spots available so we took a chance and parked in a no parking area.

It was over 80 degrees inside when we arrived but the unit was equipped with plenty of fans which helped cool the house when placing them in front of the windows. NO AC.
I appreciated the easy check out instructions.
The day of arrival I got a text saying that all facilities "might be closed for repairs". When we searched for places we only looked for ones with a pool for our 3 little girls. It made no sense for repairs to be arranged during peak tourist season. When we arrived, the pool, spa, tennis court were all clearly open and being used but we never received a key or pool instructions. So therefore we had no access to any amenities.
The halls smelled strongly of weed and sometimes the unit (guessing due to ventilation)
Check out time all on the check out instructions posted on the wall were 11 am. The house cleaner arrived at 10 and said we were supposed to be out but she'd "call her boss"

no trash can available inside the kitchen, broken shower door. outside hallway leading to the entrance had a bad odor

No microwave plate, which meant we couldn't microwave. With kids and one with diabetes this was NOT GOOD AT ALL. We were told it would be fixed. It wasn't before we left. This was a huge inconveneince.

This is a nice condo in one of the bigger buildings in the complex. Back deck for grilling (a little small to hang out on, but does have a bar to seat 4 side by side). Big master bedroom with another room that has a bunk (double on bottom, single on top) and a single. Nice kitchen with large pantry, though like a lot of rentals it is pretty empty of any frills whatsoever (no remaining condiments, no foil, cling wrap, bare bones laundry and dish detergent, etc). Spacious living area and good entertainment options. Complex has nice pool/spa, saunas in bathrooms, tennis courts, and backs up to a park with a playground and turf field and the bike path to Squaw Village. I would stay here again. Really nice option if you have kids.
Hallway to entrance was dirty.

The water heater was turned down to the lowest setting. It would have been nice to have it turned to a normal (medium setting for us). The master bathroom fan stopped working. The unit above was noisy when someone was walking.

I loved how quiet and peaceful the place was. The fully equipped kitchen was much appreciated.
We kept trying the lockbox on the side wall with the code because the email said the code to the lockbox is ….when it really was a code for the door itself. It really was a fantastic place to stay and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

(1) Getting the door open took 3 hours... First, I was given a 6 digits code to open a LOCK BOX in order to retrieve the apartment key. The 6 digit-code did not open the LOCK BOX. Called their service line, after a long wait, finally talked to someone. She said there should be 4-digit code, not 6 digit code to open the lock box. So I got a new set of 4 digit code to open the lockbox. The lockbox was open immediately but there was NO KEY in it. Again, called service line, waited for a long time, and finally got a hold a very nice representative, Robin, who helped me finally found someone to come help us after Robin spent about 30 minutes at least. A local tech person, Bill, who came promptly and told us that there was no key in the box to begin with. The a set of 6 digit code was to open the door through touch screen keypad.... (no where mentioned about key pad throughout the entire communication and instructions). It took Bill a little effort to open the door because it turned out that the 6 digit code was not the entire answer to open the door. we had to press a LOGO first, then enter 6 digit, and then click on a symbol in order to open the door through touch key pad. It took us almost 3 hours to figure out how to get the apartment door opened, which was totally unacceptable, since we were waiting in the snow with a child, hungry, and cold. Thanks to Robin who helped us find the right person, Bill, to open the door. Thanks to Bill who came over in less than 10 minutes and got the door open. We truly appreciated the help from Robin and Bill. (2) Vacuuming the floor at 7:45am on the proper above us- We stayed at apartment #42. On our day 4 there, we were awaken by loud noise from the property above us. Someone was moving furniture around and vacuuming from 7:45 to almost 9am. It must be one of the cleaning crews. This was a rude and also broke the rule of quiet time. I was very disappointed again. I will not return.

Great location. Quick drive or shuttle to either Squaw or Alpine. Both Tahoe City and Truckee are a short drive offering nightlife/ restaurants.
There are probably only 10 parking spots for this building. First come first serve and fill up quickly after 5pm. A garage or designated spot is not part of the rental. We struggled to find parking for three of the six nights we stayed.
