Prachtige, ruime en rustig gelegen woning, uitgebaat door het Jaguar Reef Resort. Het huis ligt aan de overkant van de straat, in een rustige verkaveling. Alle comfort van thuis met toegang tot de faciliteiten van het resort.
4.3
Tolle Anlage mit freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal
Küchenausstattung des Spotted Drum könnte verbessert werden.

For being on the main land location was nice, close to restaurants and food stores. We rented a car to get around since airport is about 2 hrs away. House was beautiful, it was a joy to stay there.
There wasn't anything I didn't like about the accommodations : )

This resort is part of a threesome of resorts, all under the Jaguar resort umbrella. There are multiple bars and two pools that you can use. The view from the dock is incredible and just chilling out there is all you need for a relaxing vacation! The tours out of the resort were great. My family had a great time fishing. Also, Victor was a fabulous tour guide! Don't miss cave tubing and the inland blue hole. Hopkins is a very friendly village with a diverse community. There are a lot of interesting, small restaurants and shops, which are open at random times. Use trip advisor to figure out when different places are open. You can drive into the village and park easily, rent a golf cart, or use the resort bikes to get around.
The food in the restaurant was OK but you can walk to at least three great restaurants from the resort. People walk from resort to resort all the time. It was the low season and the resort wasn't crowded. Other people just walked in and stayed there all day and night. The biggest downside, however, which isn't the resort's fault but more mother nature, is that beach tends to be full of seaweed/seagrass. These aren't the blue waters of Belize that you see in photos when you look at the islands. If you are looking for a place to wade in from the beach, this isn't it. Jumping off the dock, however, is fun!

It was by the ocean. The room was fine. They said ocean view but the trees were blocking my view
The staff. When they made my bed every day, I had ants in my bed. No wash cloth was provided until 3 days later. Water went out one night. No explanation or notice given. Did not have a number to reach the office. Iron in room not working. Room service brought food and tray was no taken away until a day later

The staff make this place. My family and I traveled here last year and most of the staff remembered us before we reminded them we had been there before. The restaurant is arguablly the best in town.
4.3
Beautiful rooms, nice pools, and good food
There was a lot of sargassum on the beach, but they can’t really help that
4.3
The bed was bad. The springs were sunken in in the two spaces people sleep in so you dipped into it and then roll towards the floor.
4.3
beautiful property, pool, beach, bars, etc. very friendly staff.
room lighting was extremely dim, and restaurant had limited options for vegetarians and vegans. portions for vegetarians were very small, ie, veg lasagna was 2 slices of squash, and lite tomato sauce.. ,

amazing location, comfy room, great cocktails and the hot tub was impressive (and always empty in the evening). very close to our chosen scuba club, and also a short bike ride in the village. would definitely recommend staying here.. and in hopkins. Big Dock is a must, so is their chevice.

I found the staff extremely friendly and helpful at the room was well appointed and very comfortable when we checked in the brand new air conditioning unit wasn't working and the staff stayed for hours after their shift in order to get it working for us which was much appreciated! The concierge Julz was very knowledgeable and helpful in her recommendations for restaurants and excursions. She was solely responsible for getting us to the airport on time to catch our flight! Thank you so much for that!
She recommended a snorkeling excursion and it was fantastic!
I feel they tried to make the menu too fancy without giving options for comfort foods. I didn't like how expensive the transportation they offered to and from the airport was. A taxi was much cheaper. It would have been very helpful if the staff were nametags.

Very nice property, very clean and neat (also at the beach), many attention to detail; very friendly staff (especially Edgar!); our room was super spacious and had a nice view on the sea
Unfortunately it’s the little things that add up: upon arrival there is no real orientation/info on anything, the beds are super soft and uncomfortable, if you want your room cleaned you need to ask for it, the food and drinks are extremely pricy (10 USD for a garden salad the size of a tea cup), additionally they add a resort fee (whatever that is) to every bill, drinks hardly contain any alcohol and you don’t even get a „little something“ served with it (some nuts or plantain chips) - given that we payed 250 USD per night, we unfortunately found ourselves wondering quite often what we actually payed for

gorgeous grounds, great staff, amazing aesthetics
No complaints! Sargassum affects that whole coast in the summer.

Rooms were gorgeous, staff was excellent.

I Loved Everything.
The Attentive Staff. The Lovely Room.
The area of the property where my room was located had no WiFi.

Beautiful resort on the beach. Well maintained gardens, pool, etc. Gorgeous, spacious, clean rooms. Filtered water in every room. The two-storey dock was a huge hit.
Cleaning only if requested, no breakfast included in the price.

The grounds were stunning. We stayed in the beach front cottage, and could not believe how chic and stylish everything was. This place is a photographers dream. We did many excursions including horseback riding, zip lining, and atv to waterfall. The food was also very good ! 10/10 very impressed
4.3
Nice hotel. Rooms are big and furnished with lots of extras. Pool was very refreshing and clean. Service all over the hotel is fantastic.
parking could have been better. Beaches unfortunately were covered with seaweed. Was surprised to see the pool full of local people there to swim and drink and didn’t have to pay a fee.
4.3
Privacy when you want it, socialization when you want it, what more could you ask for?
4.3
Great staff. Everyone knew our name. Luxurious amenities locals are super friendly

The staff here is unmatched. My wife and I have been several international places but none compare. Everyone remembers your name upon getting there. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Chris helped schedule a great island hop trip. Bruno, Gilbert, Captain Larry, the whole gang played with our 2 year old twins and made us feel like we had been friends for years. Everyone from the cleaning ladies to the waiters were always so kind. Cannot say enough good things about Jaguar Reef.
You have to ask for room cleaning.

Loved the grounds and laid back vibes. Felt like a central location to explore the reef and jungle.
Would have liked the option of an easy snack bar or shop with essentials. Once you're there, it's hard to get access to any goods without asking the staff for help or venturing into the village.
4.3
The room was perfectly laid out and very large. I loved the beach access to the pier bar. The bed was comfy and the shower was large. The food was amazing, especially the ceviche. The cinnamon sugar fryjack with ice cream is a GAME CHANGER, Will definitely be coming back and staying again. Shanel at the front desk was amazing.
Nothing at all.

We had the best experience at Jaguar reef. The staff are incredible, they go above and beyond to get to know you. Shakira and Chris run the properties events and book tours for you, they were so kind and most helpful. Edgar who works in the restaurant is so friendly, we enjoyed many conversations and laughs with him during meals. the property is beautifully maintained, the lobby is really dreamy with the lantern style lights that are scattered throughout the property. there are bikes you can take into town, kayaks and paddle boards and the big dock bar is very fun. every meal we had at paddle house was delicious! my husband raves about the lobster linguine.
we were worried about where to get covid testing since we did not rent a car, but they have a station on site that makes it very easy before departing.
small detail but we enjoyed having a 5 gallon water filler in the room. the room had beautiful bamboo ceilings, so much natural light and lots of colorful accents and our particular room had an outdoor shower and plunge pool.
we also enjoyed the butterflies spa massages!
we would love to visit again and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape.
need to request housekeeping

The food and drinks were all reasonably priced and great quality. Staff was super friendly. The Big Dock bar was incredible. Loved that there was happy hour from 2p to 8p.
Not much. Loud kids by the pool but obviously the hotel can’t control that.
4.3
Well run property with great staff.
The restaurant needs to provide more a la carte options. They need to put four more beach chair/beds in front of Almond Beach.
4.3
The location, the staff, the food and our room. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we had the best time. Mario, our travel guide was so knowledgeable about the history of Belize, wildlife and birds. We explored and learned so much. Fishing was amazing and prepared so beautifully by the chef at the Paddlehouse. A perfect trip!
