Gorgeous kitchen with granite countertops, plenty of pots and pans, etc. A peaceful king size master bedroom, a bunkbed room for the kids, 2 bedrooms on the third floor (full size beds) and read, knit or just let your mind relax away in the nook up on the third floor on a full size futon. Window Air conditioned, ceiling fans, washer/dryer, cable TV/ wifi. Linens and Towels provided. Private area to store bicycles. Cleaning Service available for additional fee. Perfect central location with a quick stroll to the main street with its bistro cafes, old fashion ice cream parlors and shops. Walking bridges connect to the exciting Asbury Park with 5 minutes, Both have boardwalks, beaches and family friendly activities. Enjoy the best of both worlds that OG and AP have to offer! We were not comfortable at the house. The description mentioned that it was renovated, but in fact it was in its original condition as of 150 years ago, except for the kitchen counter. Of the 4 bedrooms, only 2 had working ACs and we were a family of 5. Two of us slept in a bunk bedroom with only a fan and no fresh air, since the window could not be opened. None of the doors close properly, windows won’t open, and everything was ancient and falling apart. The kitchen ceiling leaked in two places and during the rain we filled one bucket from each of the ceiling cracks. The house had some charm 50 years ago for sure but ought to be updated. It was painful to be there, and not at all relaxing. The photos are a great false advertisement.

Great neighborhood and location! Prompt and helpful communications with host. Most enjoyable aspect for morning coffee, evening dinner, and general visiting was the spacious porch. Very efficient kitchen. Generous supply of clean towels and linens. Condition of stairs, general structure, and much of the porch and bedroom furniture decreased comfortableness (especially for the grandparent), as well as compromising the look and feel of a tended-to property.

Beach passes and beach supplies appreciated. There is not a dedicated parking space which can be a bit tricky especially on weekends. Easy checkin and checkout. Had all our family needed for a nice vacation at the shore. Days Ice cream near by. Yum

It is a good location, the house was stocked with what we needed. The house is an old Victorian and her age is showing a bit. Some of the doors stick and the floors slope but the kitchen has been updated and I like the laundry facility and was thankful for the room air conditioners! I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

The house is older with some charming architecture and nice modern upgrades. It really has a great location being a 15 minute walk to the Asbury Park boardwalk. Great place and David is super quick with communication.

We had a great time! The location was great with proximity to Asbury Park restaurants and Ocean Grove beach only minutes away. The huge balcony was like having an extra room, with an ocean breeze and a place to dry your suits and towels. Stocked kitchen and washer and dryer a plus. Thank you!!

The owners were extremely communicative and helpful. We had an issue late in the evening and got a response within an hour (we were not expecting an answer until the morning) and by the following morning the owner was there to fix the problem — so pleasant to deal with. Highly recommend anyone renting from this couple!

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our time in Ocean grove and Asbury park. Beaches are beautiful and lots of good places to eat nearby. The beds were comfortable and all rooms except the kids room have AC, but for us a fan in that room was good. The kitchen was well equipped and eating meals on the large porch was really fun. I'd definitely come back again.

As many have said, communicating with Melissa was super easy and helpful-- even pre and post visit! We loved being able to walk to the beach and be home in time for our youngest's nap. We also ate out most days and found wonderful vegan options in walking distance. We didn't utilize the porch much because of the intense heat, but we could see how We could if the weather was better. Since we spent so much time indoors due to our covid precautions we were grateful for all the tv options, but we should have brought some toys with us. Also, the flooring is tricky in that most of the door ways have a step or two, so people using walkers or a cane would need to be careful. Overall we loved our trip, love the duplex apartment, and being surrounded by so much beauty. We hope to be back in the near future.

That porch was everything! We loved having coffee and breakfast there in the morning and watching the sun set at night. The beds were comfortable and the window AC and ceiling fans made the space comfortable on the hottest days. We loved the neighborhood. Perfectly quiet at night. Parking was a bit challenging on the weekends but easy during the week. Melissa and David were very kind and helpful. Overall, a great experience and relaxing vacation. **if you don't think you'll enjoy the character on quirks of a 150 year old home, this isn't the place for you

Ocean Grove is a place where time has stood still. It’s a beautiful little shore town and Melissa and David’s home is the perfect place to feel part of the history. We loved our stay. It was cozy and comfortable. It was quirky in every good way imaginable. We felt at home and loved how easy it was to walk everywhere. Melissa and David were very wonderful hosts. They were easy to communicate with and provided all that we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

A lovely experience. The owners, Melissa and David, were warm and friendly, and their personality was reflected in this spacious two-story apartment, which was sparkling clean and nicely appointed, from many large soft bath towels, a great master room king bed, a big kitchen excellent for food prep if you have a chef in the crowd, an enormous and wonderful wrap around private porch on the second floor, good wifi and a big TV if you're a movie-watcher. And just a few blocks from the beach, from main street with all sorts of nice shops, restaurants, bakeries, etc.

We found our summer home!

We had a wonderful time staying in the upstairs 3 br apartment. Although only 1 bathroom, it managed to handle the 9 of us showering and doing laundry every day. The icing on the cake was the on site property manager Mark who made us feel right at home! We made forever friends in the owners David and Melissa as well!

we checked in from 7/6-7/13 and it was awesome! we had so much fun and loved staying in the rental!! melissa is an angel and was so accommodating for us throughout our entire trip and marky mark!!! best property manager ever, no one has made us laugh like that in so so long so sweet and considerate. everything was just lovely, a 3 min walk to downtown and a 10 minute walk to asbury; it was just the best vacation we've all been on in a long time! we will definitely be back next year!! thank you so much for everything!!

Just as described, it's close to the beach and just across a bridge from Asbury Park. It's also very close to the Asbury Park train station, so we were able to forego a car for our trip. Melissa was great to deal with, good communication and quick responses to the typical minor incidents that arise.

Our stay with Melissa at her ocean grove home was incredible! The house was perfect for us and the location was incredible! Slept 5 with ease! A short and nice 10 minute walk to the beach where it was beautiful and a easy 2 minute walk to bars and nightlife in asbury! Ocean grove was a beautiful, calm, and peaceful town. Would highly recommend staying here! Melissa has all the essential items you need! The patio was awesome and the house was clean and safe!
