The whole team is wonderful so we really want to underline that they all do an amazing job. High end service!

The atmosphere of the pool
The noisy doors and windows and the unclean carpets and no clothes closet in the room only small drawers
9.0
The facilities are easily accessible like the pool and garden…there is a small shopping mall outside the resort which was really good…
the staff were very friendly and rooms were cleaned regularly …the food was good great variety on the buffet…
the pool was clean..and the entertainment was good…
half board came with a selection of afternoon tea which was really nice. The check-in process was good and fast and as we were checking out, we were offered a complimentary ride to the airport, which was good since we were having trouble getting an Uber.
The reception lady was also very lovely and helpful. We had a full Swahili spa experience which we loved however, we felt that we were being rushed a little by the staff because it was closing hour yet they selected the 3pm slot for us.
Lastly, there is one particular chef from the Zanzibar experience who was amazing. He was patient with us and gave us exceptional service kudos to him he made us love the experience more by the way he took care of his customers very very professional and kind.
The beach area wasn’t really what I expected….it was regularly dirty but this was due to natural causes like seaweeds and all which made it difficult to enjoy the beachfront but Baobab resort had an amazing beach which we had to go to there and enjoy
secondly if you need any water sport activities you have to visit the next resort they don’t offer so many activities but the hotel organizes the package activities for you which is nice…
Also be cautious with monkeys on the property… we would randomly try and chill by the patio enjoying a drink and the breeze however, we would be forced to enter the room when the monkeys showed up just for our safety. So just be careful, not leave your belongings unattended..this was uncontrollable but at they had warnings around the property regarding this
Lastly I loved every staff member I encountered except the cashier who was rude and unapproachable she was not helpful at all

Best pool in the location.
The beach here is a little small and best to eat out

The property is overrated,it takes ages to get booked in,unkept and stuffy rooms, worn out and dirty pillows, unkept swimming pools, poor room service, they don’t change the bedsheets on daily basis, old bath robes, old and slippery shower gel bottles, untrained and mannerless workers with zero customer care, very few individuals there qualify to work in hospitality industry, average same food, only garden and pool views were worth the stay, neighborhood is trash too.Rating it a 2.5 star hotel is a great favor.

Very clean and nice restaurants
Unfortunately the windows in the room didn’t close properly, thus we had mosquitos

Breakfast was awesome.
Drinks is not offered at dinner atleast include water for dinner. We had issues with our booking made through booking.com and the staff didn’t help regarding the issue which made our last day and checkout stressful. The staff should work more closely with there booking agent and be more understanding that issues do happen and it’s not the guests fault. So in this the staff was not helpful at all and we ended up paying double for our stay.

The place is absolutely perfect. We loved everything: food, location, view, and staff. The restaurant food is really good. The massage therapists are mostly great (apart from one who was looking at her phone whilst giving me a reflexology treatment).
We asked the receptionist to book us a restaurant outside the resort. They told us the restaurant was fully booked without even checking. Obviously, we contacted the restaurant ourselves and it was not fully booked at all. So we managed to book the table for us with no problems.
These are the kind of things that make me really mad.

The service was good, the staff are really nice. Second time here, and it was superb as always.
The food quality and general appearance of the place seems to have deteriorated a bit as compared to before.

Ambience is great.
beautifully designed for destination gate away .
😩Came during raining season. It rained all through.

the rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The buffet food is really good with plenty of options.
The vendors on the beach were annoying when all we wanted to do was walk the beach. Previously was a private beach but now vendors are allowed so that’s not good would prefer private. Room service requests weee kinda slow.

Bruv. I felt like a king staying here. Good Gahd. I spent half a leg and arm and it was worth it. Cause top to bottom, the food, the pool, the bed, the room. It's stunning. A stunning experience.
The dudes on the beach were a little ornery once they found out I'm Kenyan-American and was not going to pay western prices. They also tried to solicit my little cousin so be careful around them. They're not associated with Swahili beach but, very near. If you pay more than 100ksh for Madafu (Some of you europeans are giving these guys 3000ksh! -- My dear.. You were highway robbed.
Re: Hotel-- The bathrooms looks beautiful in person but, whatever that stone is hard to clean. Bathtub didn't look great and water pressure was a little mid.

everything was fabulous we visited for our wedding anniversary.
flys at meal time on all fruit and breads as nothing was covered or refrigerated
my husband got sick from it.

Overall it was a very positive experience. We liked our room, the cafe, the pool, and the spa!
The beach is artificially filled with sand. You don't see as much white sandy beach as other places in Diani. Anyhow the place is very pretty and the beach area of the hotel has its own charm to hang out.

The resort exceeded my expectations! The photos do not do justice. The food, the pool, the rooms, and the staff were great! I highly recommend staying here.
The beach is not inviting, you half to walk about a half a mile to find beaches work swimming in.

Our 2nd visit to the swahili beach, and just as good as good as the 1st.
It really is an excellent, well run hotel, with beautiful gardens, spacious rooms and many friendly staff.
The Indian restaurant continues to be our favourite with outstanding food.
Special mention to Julias, Tsofa, Samuel, Abdul, Mark in the bars and restaurants. Joy at reception, Emanuel (Chelsea) at the pool and Grace in housekeeping.
Asante sana!

Amazing environment with loads of great pools and restaurants. The spa is also great, we tried hot stone massage and it was incredible.
My staying was in room 08, and practically there was no water in the shower. This is the only negative review. Other thing is that the steam room was not working as well, we want to go back n the future.

Very helpful staff. Always willing to get things done with a smile.
Great location, only about 10 mins from Ukunda airstrip.
Always space by the poolside and in the pools.
Easy to get tables in the restaurants. Excellent choice of food, all cooked to a high standard.
Comfortable, large room with excellent shower.
Beautiful beach with soft white sand and lots of palm trees.
Complimentary water was in small bottles and there was never enough in the room considering the heat in Mombasa.
Some of the sun loungers need attention and the beach towels have seen better days.
Can take some time to get your drinks during busy periods.
No air conditioning or fans in the common areas which get uncomfortably hot. Had to use the toilets to cool down at times as they have air conditioning.

incredibly beautiful and exceptionally good food
Not the best beach on Diani but the pool and beauty of the resort make up for it.

The hotel is beautiful with great facilities and the rooms exceptionally spacious and comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly and willing to help at all times. Lots of food choices around the hotel and a great pool!. I strongly recommend this place
The location is an issue if you want to experience the white sandy beaches you see in Diani beach pictures and dont want to spend your time in the pool. The reef in front of the hotel limits swimmers and you do not get a proper beach feeling. Nevertheless, Diani beach is very close (15 mins walk). Wifi disconnects frequently and struggles during peak hours.
