Cheap price but not worth it.

The complimentary breakfast was good enough

The room was dirty, with mould on the walls. The futons were barely existent and felt like we were just sleeping on the hard wood floor. The bathrooms were smelly and a bit outdated

More toilet and shower needed.

Food was good, especially the buffet breakfast. Transport provided between the port and the hostel.

There was only 1 toilet and 1.shower for the entire building. My room itself has 5 people staying, there are 3 other twin rooms on my floor. I think there should be more toilets and shower to reduce waiting time, especially during peak hour.

Excelent location! The staff super friendly and helpful. They cancelled one day of our Stay because the expected bad whether without problem. Super recommended.

Pleasant

The location was fantastic, check-in and staff were helpful. The room was OK. We used the convenient and free shuttle to get back to the ferry. Breakfast buffet was very good.

We paid extra through booking.com to have an evening meal included, but we were informed at check-in that the kitchen was closed in the evening. We were not offered a refund for the meal and as it was off-season we found it very difficult to find a table at another restaurant on short notice as most were fully booked.

It was decent.

Breakfast was great. Location was great. The staff was nice. Hotel provided uncomfortable beds and only 1 flat pillow per person. We had a 3 yearbold daughter, asked for an extra pillow and blanket and they said no because you pay by the person and they didn't charge for my daughter. So I asked if I could purchase extra pillow and blanket and they said no. The room was hot when I entered, the air conditioning wasn't turned on.

Worth the visit to Tokashiki island, I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel is a 1 minute walk to the beach! A gorgeous sand beach with lots of coral to snorkel in within the shore. The restaurant was really good, the room had an amazing AC, and you get discounts on beach rentals when you stay at Sea Friend. Totally worth it.

Honestly, the place is amazing. I will say there is a shared bathroom and shower, so if that’s not your speed then that’s something to consider. Even then, everything was clean and nice.

Amazing location, steps away from Aharen Beach!

Amazing location right next to Aharen beach. Easy access to rental equipment, beach, food. Best swimming I have experienced here in Okinawa is Aharen beach on Tokashiki. My room was a perfect base camp to cool off in the AC & shower after my beach day concluded. Breakfast was included in my stay & it energized me to hit the beach one last time before I caught the 4pm Ferry to Naha. Remember to turn AC on when you arrive at your room. Tokashiki is very humid & the AC helped a lot to cool down. Very friendly & helpful staff! Thanks so much for a great stay on Tokashiki.

Just be aware that Tokashiki is a small island and most restaurants stop serving food around 8pm. Make sure to plan accordingly for dinner time.

it is really close to the beach; restaurant staff are super kind; the Aharen area has some restaurants and tour providers for an interesting stay

we were left in the port on arrival because they just assumed (no call, no check) we did not catch the ferry as scheduled; we paid almost 10,000 yen for accommodation that should be worth 2-3,000 yen since it is not a hotel — very hard beds, spartan room, and there’s no elevator. had to carry our luggage upstairs. really basic accommodation

NOT WORTH THE PRICE!

I only have three good things to say: first, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, so I have no complaints there. Also, the rooms were passably clean and the location was good, but nothing was worth the price paid.

The hotel itself and the room were NOT worth the price paid whatsoever. The rooms were tiny, extremely humid and damp (we didn't have mold, but another guest complained about it), and everything was very cheap. The towels were thin and old, the beds pretty uncomfortable, and the breakfast was only okay. In short, I wouldn't stay there again, especially at over $100/night on the off season.

Costumer service was great until we paid for our stay, and pics of hotel room were deceiving online

The customer service was great, but the price for the room was much to be desired. Too much for off season, and I had to make due.

I didn’t like the plainness of the room. I could have stayed in Okinawa for a fancier room. I was going ignorant. When we paid, staff smoked in their room which carried on to the hotel “lounge” it was a complete disregard to us because we had children with us.
