Gorgeous little house that gave it a home from home feel as soon as you walked up the steps to it. Just a 5 minute walk to my daughter and Grandson. Close to local amenities. Plenty of buses into town or local locations come round that way if you do not drive or wish to leave the car at home. Cantwait to book up again for another visit
The washing machine was broken and just had a piece of paper glued to it saying out of order, taps in bathroom very loose and you worry about even turning them incase something comes away. Could do with more cooking equipment (cheese grater, pie dishes etc) apart from that I thought it was perfect.

location is ok if you have a car cuz you’ll need to be getting places. there’s not much to go by right next to the house itself. however there’s a retail park within a few minutes drive. the house itself was clean with basic facilities which worked for us when travelling with little ones. Edinburgh is ~40 min away by car. acceptable distance.

it’s a beautifully warmed cozy little house. all the facilities were great
there were broken cabinets and a bit dusty. the sofa was a bit dirty

Didn’t receive any breakfast, but other stuff was available, as for location, 10 min drive from station, 15 min drive from the beach, shops less than 5 mins away ,
Could do with total black out blinds , even with the curtains and blinds fitted too much light got through. Bathroom: shower screen could do with refitting, bath had some damage,
Kitchen: wasn’t too sure if fridge was actually working at first as the light wasn’t working and it didn’t feel cold , but the cold came on later , freezer is noisy, especially at night

It was a quiet neighbourhood and it was easy to park right outside the house.
The accommodation is in serious need of repair. Most of the kitchen was dirty, with things not working and no markings on the oven and hob top, and the outside area hadn't been cleaned from previous guests, with cigarette ends everywhere. Enquiry with host suggested had changed cleaners recently, but that excuse is getting a bit thin on the ground these days I'm afraid. The water pressure in the bathroom shower was a big issue, and as we were here for work, overall, we were both very disappointed.

Good location for seeing the area. The house had everything we needed for a weekend break. The host replies quickly and attends to any matters right away.

Handy for visiting family
Decor shabby no instructions on how heating TV or cooker worked.

the house was convenient to reach my daughter's home. the house was cozy , once we figured out the thermostat. the house was very "bling". the beds were very comfortable. we had what we needed for our 4 night stay. there were a few nice "extras " like tea and coffee.
the shower pressure was very poor ! , hot , cold, hot , cold .
On close inspection, there was some shabby workmanship / lack of attention to detail/ poor quality decoration.
not sure that leftover food from previous guests is appropriate during these coronavirus times ?
5.0 / 10.0
Beds comfortable
Hosts very helpful and readily available
Free parking available
Tea, coffee and cleaning stuff, plus towels provided
Good location to access beautiful locations in Fife, (St Andrews, Dollar, Stirling, Edinburgh and coastal pretty villages etc)
Location of house in a busy estate and backs a noisy primary school!
Kitchen needs updating, cooker is very slow needs replacing and fridge does not close, food potentially can be rained!
An extra bed would be great in front bedroom to accommodate what is advertised as a home that can take up to 6 adults and 4 children
I think an overall update of this property would make it a better place to be home away from home as I do not feel it offers value for money at all sorry to day, as hosts are a great couple who were very helpful throughout our stay when needed. However I feel need to be honest to make this holiday home meet standards as advertised, very misleading advertising of property.
