Nice location, next to the river and close to the centre of old town, about 1,5 km from the railway station. Very cute place in many ways! Friendly staff.
If you are not a good sleeper, the sound from the railway might disturb a bit because the trains go near. Days are long in Pirna in June, meaning that there is a lot of sunlinght, and white lace curtains don´t make the room very dark.
There is no breakfast, so if you need that, you need to get it somewhere else (there are some bakeries and supermarkets near that open early).

clean, good location
uncomfortable bed and pillows (I’ve been sleeping in a tent for weeks, I’m not fussy!)

The place is very authentic: calm traditional hotel on the river's bank. We don't speak german well but the hosts were friendly to us as well. The room has coffee set, table, a big bed, bathroom, wardrobe etc. We stayed in the middle of Autumn but the heating was working and the room was warm. There weren't any noises. We didn't hear our neighbors.
We didn't expect missing curtains. There was light tulle but if you turn on the light you can't change your clothes.

This place was perfect in so many ways! A very welcoming end to 8 days hiking the Malerweg Trail, great views, beer, and food. The room (#3) was clean and comfortable (good beds!) and the staff could not have been more friendly. An espresso machine in the room and good wi-fi.
As others have said, the trains ran all night long, right next door. Some even shook the room. If you can’t handle that, this isn’t the place for you. Also, amazing breakfast options were just a 5 minute walk away in the beautiful Pirna old town...but not on site. In hindsight I would have asked for some extra espresso pods the night before. No staff present in the morning.
