Emplacement idéal pour admirer le Fujiyama. Personnel très aimable et bains parfait.
Décoration des chambres un peu désuète.
4.3

The bath and view is absolutely unbelievable. Staff truly fantastic and helpful would love to stay again!
Nothing everything was absolutely amazing

The views were absolutely astounding. Everywhere was super clean, the staff were very friendly and the facilities were excellent.
Dinner left a lot to be desired and was definitely not to our taste. Next time we would not include dinner.
4.3
Views of Mount Fuji are exceptional
Too far to walk to local town

The private onsens were very welcome as no other onsens allow you to relax as a couple, and there were icecreams after!
We used the spa for massages each which was also very relaxing.
The shuttle bus was a really useful way of getting to and from the station.
Dinner options. The hotel should be more ready to help guests when dinner does sell out.
When we asked to reserve (at about 4pm) they said it was full. Then, when we asked what alternative options were, they didnt really have much to offer - although they said "you can taxi to the other side of the lake" they didnt say where to, how long it takes, how much it costs. Having a ready "okay, dinner is full. But we can recommend these (maybe 3) restaurants in town. They serve this. Heres a map. Heres how you get there. We'll book a taxi. Alternatively there is a supermarket nearby. It takes 20mins to walk too. Here it is on the map. This is the best route" would make all the difference.
As it is, we bought pot noodles from their shop and used the kettle in the room. And that was fine.

La vue sur le mont Fuji est unique et le staff est extra

View of Mt.Fuji at 5am with no clouds covering her up!
Strange shuttle bus timetable. No shuttles from the train station in the morning. No shuttles to the station in the afternoon.

I loved the view we got for our room. An outdoor tub with a view of Mount fuji
Far walk from resturaunts and kawaguchiko station.

The Mt Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko view from the lobby and room is breathtaking. The restaurant Western and Japanese food was awesome. The hotel staff provided exceptional customer service in particular the restaurant waiting staff, Yamada san and Emmanel Sato san. I was also delighted to have complimentary beverages at the lobby anytime of the day and also ramen for supper at night. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at La Vista very much. Thank you La Vista!

I am obsessed with this stay. The view is absolutely unbeatable. I def recommend going for the full course dinner though as well! Even me, being a vegetarian, they accommodated so well, and really made me feel as though I was getting a formal 8 course meal, even though it's mainly vegetables. The view was undeniable. The facilities were perfection. The only thing to note, was that everything is a bit old/outdated. I'm super particular and it didn't even phase me, but I certainly took note of all the things. In a way, it's a bit nice, a call to another time. But it was really like staying in a nice hotel in the 90's.

The view was so fantastic, bathing in the room and watch the Mt. fuji was awesome.
Also the dinner and breakfast were both great and unique.
Easy to park the car.
There were some spiders lying on the ceiling of the bathtub, which makes some experience reduction when you enjoying the bathtub.
Recommend the hotel to clean the ceiling periodically.

Private onzen is quite comfortable

The property is located in a beautiful position that gave us outstanding views of Mt Fuji on a clear day. We loved having our own private outdoor spa bath and enjoyed using the private onsens too. The free ramen at 10:30pm was a considerate gesture to guests and free train station transfers made everything a breeze.

stunning views of Mt Fuji!
I found it a bit weird that a hotel this big does not have english speaking staff! it was hard communicating and asking questions
4.3
The hot tub in the balcony
The staff didn't speak English well.
The location is a little remote.
The breakfast was not that good.
Super overpriced.

dinner is very excellent.
no.

the property has an exceptional view of Mt. Fuji, both from the lobby and the room we had.
Additionally, all the amenities are amazing. The spa is open 24/7 (private onsens), while the public ones work quite long hours with a maintenance break during the day so you can enjoy the spa even at 2am if you feel like doing so.
the rooms are nicely equiped with a mix of modern and traditional japanese design and features. the bathrobes and pajamas are super comfy :)
Staff is exceptionally pleasant and welcoming!
It’s on the hill, a bit away from the lake (maybe 10min walk), not a problem just a heads up for people with disabilities or older guests. However, there is a shuttle bus provided by the hotel!

This resort property is very nice overall! My wife and I stayed here so that we could easily hike to some of the trails in the mountain range located directly behind the property. The resort has five private onsens each with a different theme. They also have two public onsens, one for males and one for females. The rooms are nice, spacious, and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast buffet has plenty of variety. The hotel has a shuttle that will pick you up from and take you to the Kawaguchiko train/bus station. There is a wonderful gelato shop within a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Our room had spectacular views of Mt Fuji.
The location of the hotel is both a blessing and a curse. My wife and I took the train into Kawaguchiko and were able to schedule the hotel shuttle to pick us up and bring us to the hotel. Once at the hotel, there's not much around it in terms of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. A lot of the surrounding hotels and homestays have bicycles that they rent or loan out. It would be really nice if La Vista had some bikes for this purpose as we had to take a taxi all of the way back into town to then rent bikes and bike 20-25 minutes back to the hotel.

Stunning panoramic views and kind staff made our stay memorable.

Absolutely lovely! We arrived in heavy rain and so it's really nice to be received with warmth and friendly smiles. The amenities are great as well, as described in Booking.com and fellow reviewers. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and selection is wide.
It was raining so we didn't get to enjoy the Mt Fuji view we came for. Well, it can't be helped 😞
4.3
this is a fantastic spot to enjoy a night in mt fuji, the view is excellent from the rooms and the rooms themselves are just superb. there is a hotel app to use to find all facilities as well as having a live chat facility for any questions you may have.
we didn't book in for dinner and they had absolutely no bookings available. the 'bar' didn't open at all and so if you wanted to enjoy the views with a drink this wasn't the place for it. we ended up having to walk to the local shop to get something to eat. the breakfast is very very japanese but a fantastic selection.
4.3
The bath with a view of Fuji was really something else. The rooms are comfy enough albeit it quite small. Really wish there had been a better description of the rooms at booking.
The staff was unfriendly to westerners, and the overall dining limitations (cold rolls the only in house dinner option) in a somewhat food desert made for a pretty poor experience. Glad we only stayed one night as it was easy to write it off as a temporary unpleasantness.
4.3
Great room design, view and many private hot spring.
Breakfast is great and midnight free ramen is a surprise
A bit far from any restaurant or convenient store
