Best for vacations and work

The place was just in front of the beach. The view was perfect. The design was awesome. Many options within the apartment to sit, to relax, to work. Many restaurants nearby. Private parking available at an area with parking problems!!

The jacuzzi wasn't the best

Family has a wonderful time exploring everything that Chania had to offer.

The location

For a Penthouse Apartment, the level of cleanliness did not meet my expectations. Parking was very difficult. Located in the basement but had to manouvere a steep curved driveway.

Very poor

The view is great

The hot tub didn’t work and there was no hot water to shower in for days. they’ll tell you, hey it’ll be fixed right away, and it’s lies.

pretty good location top of residential block-expensive considering the uncomfortable beds etc.

walking distance of old town and close to a beach

the beds were very hard as were pillows. consequently we didn’t sleep well. also the furniture outside was very uncomfortable and therefore didn’t use the space - such a pity. The parking for the car was down a ramp adjacent to the building, but this was blocked by another car all our stay

Large amazing sea-side appartement with stunning balcony. Will be at top of list on next visit!

Stunning place. The view was great and easy access to all sorts of restaurants. 15-minute quick walk from the center of the old town. Plenty of space both inside and on the balcony. Time between deciding to go for a swim in the sea and being in the sea - about 10 minutes. This is a chain, which was nice as there was a place to leave my luggage while waiting for the apartment to open. Close to shops for supplies (wine, cheese, etc.).

One bigger thing - the jacuzzi heater wasn't working (the sea was warm, however!). The staff apologized multiple times but was unable to fix it during my short stay. A few minor things, there was some confusion with the apartment operation instructions and the phone number in the email was incorrect.

the parking in the basement is very small and you have to maneuver a lot to park. first night we were about to scratch the car and we had to park in the street. hangers for towels are needed in bathrooms

Would highly recommend this property.

fabulous apartment in a perfect location. Apartment was spotlessly clean with plenty of room and extremely comfortable. Street it is situated on is lined with cafes and restaurants and is across the road from a serviced beach. Old town is approximately 15 mins walk. you need a car if you want to travel to surrounding beaches as they are much cleaner than the beach opposite. Maria, the Manager is excellent and a really lovely lady to deal with.

Perfect roof-top

Elia Penthouse is the perfect holiday place. Spacious inside and amazing outside. The view from the terrace was stunning and the location close to the beach and a short walk to the Old Town of Chania. One could hang out for hours on the terrace to relax and enjoy the view. The rooms were good size and the beds comfortable. No noise and easy check-in. We really enjoyed our stay.

The kitchen could have been equipped a bit better and the communication before our stay was slow and sometimes confusing.

Perfect & would love to stay again

Spacious apartment on 5th floor with incredible views just as in the pictures. Two bedrooms with 2 shower rooms so ideal for a family with older children. Variety of different seating options on the large balcony. Additional balcony with table and chairs off the kitchen. Lots of great restaurants below the property overlooking the beach. Easy walk into old town and Venetian harbour either along the coast or through the town. Coffee shop /bakery just next to property & short walk to good sized supermarket. Elia staff helpful and happy to give advice/suggestions. Ordered transfer from airport directly with the property which made for a really relaxing trip with a friendly & knowledgeable driver.

Nothing it was perfect. Please note the hot tub was not in use during our stay in April but I believe they are applying for the use of additional hot water so it can be used all year round, so perhaps check before you visit.

Great Property!

We loved our stay at the Elia Penthouse! It’s such a spacious apartment & it was perfect for us. The location is amazing, less than a minute from the beach and about a 10 minute walk to the old harbour. The jacuzzi was cold, but we didn’t mind as it was nice to cool off in if sunbathing on the balcony. The kitchen is great, main TV has Netflix, beds are very comfy.

It was difficult to get in contact with the hosts. One of the patio doors doesn’t lock, but there is one key for both the bedrooms. We sent a message to ask if there was a second key so that we could sleep locked in at night, but we got no response. We also asked if there was somewhere we could put out our rubbish, but again we got no response and after 5 days in the apartment we saw 2 cockroaches near the bins. Check out is at 11am, but at 9:50am a cleaner came in asking when we were leaving. Also we arrived an hour early & asked if we could check in early, but we had to wait until 3pm. That is not a complaint as we didn’t ask for early check in, but just warning others if they arrive earlier than expected.

Great views and prime location

The apartment matches exactly with the photos you see. The view is just wonderful and everything is well provided for. A good shower, 2 decent sized bedrooms and nice open plan lounge and kitchen. We were met on arrival and given a friendly helpful introduction plus some tips for local restaurants. It's a nice 10 minute stroll to the old town, along the waterfront.

The car parking space and access is very tight. With a medium or large size car it would be a challenge however in Nov we found plenty of street parking options nearby.

Seper-Penthouse

Everything was very good. A large apartment next to the beach with very space two terraces. Very fabulous view from each terrace. The beach next to the building is just across the street. Perfect location near everything. Short walk to the center. Garage was available if you have a car - very important because it is difficult to park in the street. Very good equipment in the kitchen. Very well working air condition. WiFi is quite good and fast.

Excellent, nice place to stay and relax

The apartment is spacious, kitchen is well equipped. Beds are comfortable. Wifi worked. The terrace is huge with amazing view! Jacuzzi with sunset view- top! Location is perfect, 2 steps from the beach, many Cafes, restaurants nearby.

Just a notice that there is no hot water in jacuzzi, it takes time to warm it up by sun, so depends on weather, ok in summer though
