My family and i had the best time at SSI. Seas the Day is a spacious, homey and clean rental. Communication with property owner was timely and clear. Having a shower in the back yard to rinse the sand off was very appreciated. Kitchen is fully stocked.
We will definitely consider this property for the future vacations.

Condo had great space for our family and all necessities needed! The place was very clean and had comfortable beds. We appreciated Gloria’s quick response with a question while we were there. Would love to go back next year!

This property really did seem like you were at a beach. Very pretty.

Exactly what we needed. Our teenage girls were able to spread out on the bottom level and the third floor living space was perfect for my wife and I. The place is extremely well appointed for all your cooking and entertainment needs. The back patio was wonderful for storing bikes at night and rinsing the sand off everything using the outdoor shower/hose. The walk to the beach was just a few short steps away. Hope to stay again next time we're in St. Simons!

The house was very and clean and large. No complaints. I will say the townhouse could do with some renovations . It is very dated.

The 3 story townhome accommodated our crowd very nicely. The home had recently been freshened up with new paint, etc and was very clean.
The homeowner was very kind and communication with her was quick and easy. So don’t hesitate to
“Seize the Day” while enjoying the best of SSI at “Seas the Day”!

We had a wonderful stay, very spacious, short walk to the beach and the outside shower was very refreshing. We will definitely come back.

This is an extremely spacious and well-stocked rental. The kitchen had more supplies than any rental kitchen I've ever seen. There were plenty of nice little extras available for our use. We were a short walk from the beach, and the outdoor shower helped so much with keeping things clean. Thanks for a great beach stay!

Great Location
The location of this property was perfect, a little over a mile from the town center, which is only an 8 minute bike ride, and a 10 minute walk to get to the waves. Even on 4th of July weekend the beach wasn't too crowded like it can be at some of the popular areas of Florida. St. Simon's was perfect and this property was great!

Great location
We enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent. We loved the island and all the activities and restaurants. The bathrooms need a good deep clean (grout, corners, baseboards, exhaust fan were all gross). There were 5 beach chairs at the condo we enjoyed using and we left a couple boogie boards and shovels for the next guests. The kids loved boogie boarding as the tide came in. We enjoyed a kayak tour of the marsh and our day biking Jekyll Island and stopping at Driftwood Beach. It was a great week.

Teenage girls spring break getaway
From start to finish, so easy and convenient. The lock system was easy for all. I stayed in the top floor suite and the girls stayed in the bottom two rooms. The closet beds would be great for small children but too tight for the girls. House is less than 1/2 mile to beach…easy walk or ride on bike. We rented from Ocean Motion-bikes 1/4 mile from house. So cheap and easy. House is right in the bike baths and a straight shot to the shops and pier. You can walk or ride. King and Prince 1/4?mile away. There were 5 beachchairs at house that we used. Best location. Girls able to takeoff to beach or coffee and we all had the best time. Winn Dixie super convenient, too.

A Month's Stay at "Seas the Day"
The three levels of "Seas the Day" were very nice in that the living area was completely separate from the upper master suit and lower two (plus) bedrooms. My adult children and grandchildren were able to visit on weekends, using the bottom level for themselves. The third level balcony was nice for AM coffee and reading as well as a PM glass of wine at sunset.
The property owner was very accessible and helpful by text/email.
We had a fabulous October on SSI at "Seas the Day".

Best location on the island!
It’s an older property, but it’s clean, comfortable, and has everything you need. It’s a short walk to the beach or town, and the balcony overlooking the marsh is perfect for a morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine at sunset.

Beautiful home and perfect location
Everything was as expected and then some. The location was perfect. Very close to the beach. It was nice having the kids sleeping area from the master. Plenty of space when we wanted to be together. Plenty of space for kids to have their own space. I was amazed at how close we were to everything. We enjoyed many of the restaurants and activities Gloria recommended. This was our first visit to SSI. We are already discussing our next visit.

Great house with great location
The house is great and the location is even better. Walking distance to the beach, and the sand bar is great. The master is located on the top floor with the kitchen in the middle and two bedrooms on the first floor. Overall, my family had a great time and the house is perfect. The owners (Gloria) great and we had no issues.

Great layout with plenty of separation for all. Block and a half walk to the beach. Restaurants and bike rental shop a short walk as well. First time to the island. We’ll be back.

Clean, comfy and close to the beach!
OK, so we locked ourselves out the very first night which wasn’t a great way to start. Thankfully, Gloria was very gracious about our situation and called her people so we were back in the townhouse in no time. It is a very clean, cozy and comfortable three-story townhouse and plenty roomy for our family of five.. The master suite is the entire top floor with a nice little balcony to enjoy morning coffee and overlook the marsh. The second floor is the gathering area which was very inviting with a nice mix of art and vintage decor. The first floor had two good size bedrooms with an adjoining bath and sliding doors to an outside patio area which we did not use during our stay. The beach was a quick 10 minute walk through the neighborhood. It was great for everyone to be able to come and go as they pleased. The beach is huge and expansive especially at low tide. It’s nice and flat, perfect for walking, riding bikes and pulling your beach buggy without any problems at all. All in all we really enjoyed our relaxing week. Gloria made the check in and check out process so easy with no hassle whatsoever.

Convenient Location
It was so easy communicating with Gloria. We traveled with 4 of our sons. The first floor sleeps 6 so they had plenty of room to spread out. The master is on the third floor so it was nice and quiet. The location is an easy bike ride to the Village and to the end of East Beach which is our favorite spot to spend on the beach. Several days we walked out the back of the property and made the short walk to the beach access. I would recommend this property.

Location, Location, Location !
This was our 8th stay at a Vbro rental ---and our most challenging.
A 5 star for location ~ very short walk to the beach with a 1 1/2 mile stroll in either direction. We planned our day around the low tide schedule. At low tide there are many more options such as walking out on the sandbars or walking into the village for a meal or/and shopping ~ or just enjoying the sights. The biking options are many. Except for grocery shopping and fishing, we pretty much rode our bikes everywhere.
The condo only gets a 3 star because of the problems we encountered on arrival, which took several weeks to sort out. The previous renters had smoked inside leaving a nasty stale cigarette odor especially in the master bedroom and bath. Renters, don"t do this to your owners !! We ended up purchasing a new mattress cover and foam pad as the old ones were stained and had burn holes and smelled. The first night we had to move to a lower level bedroom. We also purchased several fragrant candles, cans of smoke odor eliminator spray and then trips to Lowes for lumber to temporally fix the kitchen sink cabinet. The sink had separated from the counter and dropped several inches. My husband was able to repair the floor of the cabinet and then prop up the sink until a plumber could fix it~ after our 5 week stay. The faucet was loose and the pipes leaked. Our other plumbing problem was the toilet on the 1st level which had broken loose from its base ~ 2 weeks till usable.
Hopefully all the problems will be addressed before the next renter arrives.
A few suggestions~we found the wifi to be very slow late afternoon and evening and had to reconnect almost every day. If you are going to be sitting for awhile, we found the patio chairs to be comfortable and light enough to be easily carried to the living room area. We like to read and do jigsaw puzzles and were glad we had brought 2 reading/craft lamps. The patio has room to store your bikes if you bring your own. There are bikes there but we did not try them.
This is a great place for a family or small group of friends. These two senior citizens are opting for a smaller 2 story condo next year !

Responsive owner / great location
Seas the Day has a great location to all of St. Simons' activities and is a easy short walk to the beach. The kids on the first floor and mom&dad on the third with a family meeting space in between was a favorable layout for us.
Upon arrival, we discovered broken furniture and blinds left from a prior tenant that the cleaning company had not reported to Gloria. Gloria was on top of it and had a new couch the next day. Unfortunately, the best handyman on the island was extremely busy and couldn't make the repairs before we left. Yet, Gloria was great in responding (less than 30 minute response time to any inquiry) and trying to make things as smooth as possible.
Would recommend Seas the Day for a family vacation.

Suited our needs perfectly
We were very satisfied with this property. Attractive, updated, but not too fancy for a beach vacation. Good layout for our 7 people. Grandparents had the upper floor master, and the children and grandchildren had the lower floor. Having the living room on the floor between of this three-floor unit meant neither group disturbed the other if schedules differed. This was one of the few units we found with beds for everyone to accommodate 7 people. No one had to sleep on a hide-a-bed. We loved the proximity to the nice, wide beach -- a short walk around the corner or a short drive to a parking spot. The unit is across the street from the marsh and bike path that leads down the street to restaurants, shops and the lighthouse. Couldn't improve much on the location! And we loved the St. Simons area. Plus, the owner, Gloria, is very quickly responsive to questions or needs.

Beautiful townhouse right near the beach
This place is just lovely. First off, it is quite large. Especially the master suite on the top floor. It is decorated very nicely and the kitchen has everything you need. The beach is seriously a 5 minute walk from the door till you're stepping on sand. The best restaurant on the island is literally right down the street (Crabdaddy's). The house was also stocked with beach essentials and they also had 4 nice bicycles, they thought of everything. We would definitely stay there again, really lovely place. Only one suggestion...it may be time to replace some of the mattresses. Other than that, fantastic place!
