Property was neat tidy we had a comfortable stay, views were breathtaking beds comfortable, showers great pressure, whalers being so close was amazing. Beautiful holiday home.
It was a little unorganised and cluttered in kitchen cupboards and bath did need to be cleaned along with some dishes as they were dirty on arrival from last guest.
Would stay again 😃

Our family group stayed for several days to attend a wedding. The upstairs and downstairs provided excellent accommodation and space for everyone to relax. We loved the location and the magnificent view from the huge balcony - easily accommodating the comings and goings over that period and making for a very happy experince

My family & extended family stayed here. 3 adults, 5 teens, a toddler & 2 babies. House was very spacious & fit us all comfortably. View from the upstairs balcony, living and dining room is stunning. Kids loved the ping pong table, playing 8 ball & racket ball. We launched the jet ski at the boat ramp directly across the road & the kids had fun on the paddle boards & kayaks that we bought along. Breakfast was great across the road at the whalers inn. We had Dinner at the beach house cafe down the road and the service there was amazing! The Yilki store also has great food, breakfast and lunch. We spent a day down at Haybourough beach which was too choppy for the jet ski but perfect for the kids on the boogie board!!
We also went quad biking at Waitpinga which of course the kids (and big kids) loved too.
Helen the host was great to deal with leading up to, during and after our stay. She definitely accommodates for families, was super responsive and accommodated our request for early check in and late check out which we were pleased with.
The backyard to this property is not fenced so essentially it’s just 2 front yards so at night time the only place to gather together is on the balcony which was fine until we had the elderly neighbour ask us to be quiet as the kids were “laughing too loudly” which was disappointing but this area is more for relaxing and kicking back and probably not so much suited for families who have “loud” children lol.
House is a little bit older than looks in the pictures on the inside but still an absolutely beautiful property.
Other than the elderly neighbour, the only other issue we had was the cleaners advising the host that we left the house in “disarray” which was completely untrue. We hire out holiday homes quite regularly and understand the expectations upon departure especially as we have kids. House was left clean and tidy, all appliances were off, curtains were drawn, all surfaces were wiped, all outdoor furniture was stacked and covered with tarps, ALL rubbish was removed from the house and bins were put out. The only thing we forgot to do was return the keys to the box as one guest accidently left them hanging inside. So it was a tad offensive to be told the house was left in disarray. If we stay here again we will definitely be doing a video upon check in and check out.
Overall it was a great little getaway, beautiful house, amazing view, heaps for the kids to do & a fantastic host! Would recommend!!

really well stocked with all one would need -and so much choice in finding a quiet corner to read, or to chat, or to do activities that the little ones wanted to do.
Really handy having the upstairs and downstairs areas as it made logistics of noisy little children quite easy

We were delighted to see the magnificent view upon check in. The listing is spot on with large bedrooms that comfortably accommodate two large families. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen generously stocked. Plenty of room upstairs and downstairs for the teens and adults. The pool table and table tennis were a hit.
An excellent location a stones throw from Victor Harbor and in a very serene setting.
Helen the host was very responsive and helpful every step of the way.
Thank you for a restful and wonderful holiday. We look forward to staying here again.

The location and views from this property are great. We had everything we needed, we enjoyed our stay however the decor is a bit dated but I guess the photos in the listing show that. Plenty of bunks in the downstairs rooms.
