Hotel is een aanrader

Wij zijn 4 dagen geweest. En hebben een zeer prettige verblijf gehad personeel is erg behulpzaam en vriendelijk Ontbijt is verrassend mooi en goed diverse hapjes en drankjes Voordat men aan het ontbijt. Gaat beginnen maakt men eerst foto,s zag er prachtig uit en smakelijk.

Er was geen lift moesten trappen lopen

Hotel, Service und Lage sehr empfehlenswert.

Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut! Liebevoll präsentiert! Es hat an nichts gefehlt und alles war schmackhaft und vielfältig. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Auf jeden Fall ist das Gesamtpaket absolut weiter zu empfehlen.

Not a good experience

I didn't really like much about my stay.

At booking I requested a take-away breakfast. The response was yes, but at check-in I was told it's not possible. The room was very noisy and there was a party until 23:00 in the restaurant (on a Monday night?) making it impossible to sleep, even on the 3rd floor. There was nobody at the desk in the morning to check out. All the lights in the stairways were dark and dangerous to walk down in the morning. I had to use a cell phone light.

Great stay to discover the region!

Great location. Staff was uberfriendly and helpful. It isn't the most modern or stylish hotel but it's clean, good beds, spacious rooms, location is excellent, great breakfast, private parking space, quite and a great shower. Great value for money. I was offered to take the breakfast to my room the evening before because I wanted to leave the moment I woke up. Great service! I assume they have great wines but didn't have the chance to taste them.

The balcony of the restaurant can look at the scenery in a daze, with the vineyard behind.

It would be more convenient if the restaurant downstairs was open at night. Sadly it seems to be closed.

Superb

I appreciate that the hotel is easy to reach from the motorway. Would the stay had been for pleasure I would have appreciated that common bikes are available across the street and that there is public transport to the other towns along the river. You should ask for a room facing the river if you want the view. The back side facing a vineyard is a more quiet alternative. The breakfast was of the type that you sometimes find in five star hotels. To find an extraordinary assortment presented in an artistic way in this hotel was a pleasant surprise. And without asking for it I got a thermos full with coffee (instead of the usual cup).

Quite good, because staff were friendly

Most restaurants, including Stettler, were closed most of the week. I would have appreciated knowing that beforehand and then we could change the dates of our stay
