Super Lage! Herrlicher Ausblick vom Zimmer, Pool und beim Frühstück. Sehr gute Busverbindung nach Amalfi und Positano. 1,40€ pro Person/ Fahrt. Tickets im Hotel und in der Stadt. Sehr, sehr freundliches Personal. Frühstück perfekt. Empfehlenswert!!!
Gehört nicht zum Hotel! Achtung beim Taxi, eine Fahrt vom Hotel nach Amalfi KOSTET 50€ !!! 4,8km und für 10min!!! Abzocke!!!

Breakfast, sea view, beautiful lounge and reception areas
The bedrooms are only adequate and in considerable need of refurbishment along with the corridors.

Beautiful hotel with great views. Rooms were comfortable and staff was very friendly and helpful. Having a big pool area was also very nice. Breakfast had a great selection too. It was 10 min by car to Amalfi or by Hotel shuttle bus Also bus stop right outside the hotel.
There is nothing not to like. The Airconditioning is a bit dated and struggled in this heat. It was set on lowest temperature but didn’t even get close to it. Didn’t bother us too much as we don’t like freezing air conditioning anyway. But new system might be needed soon.

Our rooms were clean, spacious and we had spectacular views. The staff were helpful and incredibly friendly. We spent a day relaxing at the pool which was very well maintained, with friendly staff and again the views were amazing.
It is a little tricky getting around. The hotel does offer a shuttle to Amalfi town which was helpful but arranging transfers to other places proved to be very costly.

The views are amazing. Our room in particular had a great view of Amalfi, Minori and Salerno in the distance, but even if your room were on the other side of the hotel you could still appreciate our view every morning at breakfast.
The hotel is older, but in a great way! We enjoyed the look and feel of it, as if we were traveling back in time.
Everything was clean, and the staff were great.
The property is a 15-20 minute ride from the port, but they have a 4 euro per person van transfer service, which helps out tremendously. Gaitano, the driver, is great - very friendly, helpful and professional.
Breakfast was delicious every morning with lots of options.
And, the pool (accessed by elevator or stairs) and ocean (accessed by steps from the pool) offered spectacular views and a nice spot to cool off.
There is a public stairwell right next to the hotel that leads you down to a little beach with three restaurants. It’s not part of the hotel, but we highly recommend heading down to grab lunch/beverage and enjoy the atmosphere.
There is nothing about the property itself we didn’t like. The only negative point that comes to mind is that if you’re trying to catch a bus into Amalfi they are frequently full coming from Positano, and won’t stop (Hotel Belvedere is one of the last stops on the line before you get to Amalfi). But, this can be remedied by just grabbing the hotel’s van transfer service.
Also beware for anyone coming to Amalfi coast for the first time - the highway is very narrow and there are several spots (including in front of the hotel) we’re there is no sidewalk, nor shoulder for that matter. Exercise extreme caution even if you’re just walking short distances. The public stairwell/beach I mentioned previously has boat tour outfits that’ll take you to Grotta dello Smeraldo (and probably other destinations).

Stunning views and great location. Wonderful staff except for Hotel Manager and older Bartender
In particular the shuttle driver Gaetano was absolutely wonderful, always ready to help and looking after us the best he could. Also the head Waiter was exceptionally good and treated us very well.
All the staff except the two individuals were absolutely wonderful and it is a shame that two bad apples spoiled our stay.
Our room was on the ground floor and the acoustics were horrible we could hear people next door talking, we could hear chairs being moved above us and the last night in particular our next door occupants woke us up at 1:15 AM and kept us awake most of the night. I had to bang hardly on my door to make them stop. Those rooms have absolutely no sound insulation and I would have expected much better for the price paid.
I also would like to cite the fact that the older Bartender refused to make me tea because he was busy. More upsetting was the fact that when I reported it to the Hotel Manager he did not do anything about it.
Further when I told the Hotel Manager about the noise he answered that I should have alerted them earlier.
They knew that the sound propagation is a problem at least in the ground floor and we should have been given a different room from the onset.

The hotel is in an extraordinary position, with glorious sea views. the staff are fantastically helpful with an air of old fashioned class.
rooms are tidy and clean, with spectacular views
there are a number of steps here and there around the hotel and can be a little noisy early in the morning
4.3
quiet serene. yet close to the Amalfi center.
4.3
great location, good restaurant
slightly dated and could have been more clean
4.3
the sea view was unbelievable from our room, the rooms were spacious and clean, about 15 min away from Amalfi by bus and less than 40 min for Positano
they kept my rental car keys as the parking is small and returned it with a scratch in the driver side, no apology or even acknowledgment of what they did
4.3
centrally located- easy access!
4.3
convenient location for those who travel by car - it has free parking (a rare and precious thing on Amalfi cost), in ~ the middle between Amalfi and Positano, close to the Path of the Gods hike and Emerald Grotto.
The room is very large (only the bathroom was about the size of a whole room in some other hotels :-))
the hotel is a bit aging (which has character) but yet - the rooms, the furniture, the large mechanical keys...
The breakfast is good but kind of the same every morning (we stayed a few nights).
The pool and access to the private beach are very nice, but a bit less relevant in October.
At this price, we'd expect it to have a spa.
Good hotel, but other hotels we stayed in on the same trip in Matera and on Capri (also very popular tourist destinations) have been just as good and at ~half the price.
4.3
View was incredible, one of the best in any hotel I've ever been to.
Breakfast was fantastic, again with the wonderful view, and good level of choice of food and coffee, etc.
Pool was fantastic, though the one bad thing was that it closes (and the sea entrance) at 18.30h which is way too early. Great that there are lifts to get up and down, as the steps would be tiring to do everytime.
Pool shouldn't close so early (at 18.30h, it's just when you get back from being out all day, so that was disappointing).
Food at the restaurant was not great, and at the swimming pool was not very extensive (only paninis), and the waiting staff were a bit grumpy some of the time.
4.3
pool and private beach access in excellent location
bathroom needs refreshing. For price of room, you expect perfect but it was not.

Like a time warp from dirty dancing film, like colonial with a twist. Clean great service handy for the local bus and pool was wonderful as well as breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room had a great view.
You can't walk out to grab food you have to take a bus..remote area, Great hotel if you want a quiet break.

the pool is amazing

Just perfect

stunning views
Good range of restaurant locations and bar locations
distance from Amalfi town and unable to walk down the busy and dangerous road
Also bedroom TV system did not work on international channels
Rooms in need of some upgrade

The overall package. Location and views, the service from the staff was outstanding. a 1950’s gem delivering exceptional service in the 21st century.
Room doors could be a little more sound proofed. I am being picky.
4.3
the location.
the incompetent and unprofessional staff from the reception till the restaurant, the food was awful. but one of the worst and disappointing staff I’ve ever met
4.3
The staff was very very friendly! They did everything to do our stay pleasant. The view from our room was extraordinaire. We had super quiet room. The pool is with sea water, which is a dream. You can go down to the sea and swim in it too.
We were with very big car and there was always a big parking place for it.
The breakfast was delicious but it did not vary much.
4.3
The staff we very friendly and helpful. They spoke good English. Excellent parking.
It was the last days of thier season. Could not provide adequate toiletries. Had to call desk for wifi password. Should provide a map of the property.
4.3
The view is amazing. Just breathtaking.
We had a great room with private patio, which we used a lot. The swimming pool is cool and again.. the view...
Breakfast is simple but good. Whatever questions or needs we had they where quick in providing for us. (boat trip to Capri is a tip!) Fabio helped us great.
We had a wonderful stay, near to everything Amalfi-coast, and would have loved to have stayed longer! Everything is a short car ride away, and did I mention the views?
We eat in their restaurant a few times and always had a lovely and reasonably priced meal.
We hope to be back soon!
You really need a car (do not order taxis! extremely overpriced) And we must say: this is not a cheap hotel. But everyone was so welcoming and the views...
Maybe the breakfast was a little too simple but never-mind: just having a tea and coffee in the morning outside made this a wonderful experience.

The hotel staff responding very quickly to our inquiry . And prices of all additional service ( transfer service from Napoli and boat trip , etc) are all good offers.
Thanks Manager Mr Antonio , for all nice arrangement . The room has a big terrace with stunning view which you will never get tired of. This is a classic hotel with nice facility , not modern , but comfortable .

Wonderful staff! Excellent services ! We really enjoyed out stay! ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

The one and only benefit of this hotel is the location with really beautiful sea-view and they-own "beach" to the fantastically clear water.
The hotel has four stars, but the quality was hardly a three. Everything quite worn-out.
