Una notte a Taormina

L'hotel è in ottima posizione per visitare Taormina, lo staff di ricevimento è molto giovane ma allo stesso tempo codiale e disponibile. Molto apprezzata la possibilità di usufruire del servizio colazione in fasce orarie diversificate per non creare eccessivo affollamento nella sala e, vista la gradita opportunità di svolgere il check out fino alle ore 12:00, è stato molto piacevole poter utilizzare la piscina anche il giorno seguente. Buona la vista dalla piscina e apprezzabile il balconcino provvisto di sedie e tavolino presente in ogni stanza. Camera e bagno di dimensioni discretamente adeguate ma tutte rinnovate di recente.

Purtroppo le camere non sono provviste di imposte o tapparelle o persiane e dunque la mattina, nonostante la presenza di tende semioscuranti, filtra molta luce dall'alba. Si consiglia di fornire, per ogni soggiorno, una mascherina per dormire o, quantomeno, avvisare di questo inconveniente in modo che il cliente possa adoperarsi autonomamente in questo senso. Il servizio bar nella piscina è risultato lento e poco accorto; per la preparazione di un espresso e un aperitivo sono stati necessari circa 15 minuti, altri 10 per avere delle patatine. Sempre nella stanza n.208 si precisa che la luce notturna al lato dx del letto risulta non funzionante.

Sehr schön nach dem auffinden des Parkhauses

Es liegt sehr zentral. Das Zentrum ist leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Pool mit Poolbar ist in der 2. Etage und bietet eine sehr schöne Aussicht. Handtücher stehen kostenlos zur Verfügung. Das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht. Das Frühstück war gut

Man sollte nicht mit dem eigenen Fahrzeug anreisen! Um vom Hotel in die Garage Lumbi zu gelangen, muss man die halbe Stadt umrunden. Durch den starken Verkehr, kann das schon eine halbe Stunde dauern. Auch ist die Wegbeschreibung die wir an der Rezeption erhalten haben sehr spärlich. Hat man einmal das Parkhaus verpasst, dreht man noch eine Runde. Unser Vorschlag wäre ein Stadtplan mit eingezeichneter Route. Vom Parkhaus zum Hotel sind wir mit einem kostenlosen Bus gefahren. Den Rest konnten wir laufen. Ca 6 min. Bei der Abreise hat man uns ein Taxi gerufen. Für dieses haben wir 15€ bezahlt. 2 Tage Parkhaus 33€

Excellent stay in Taormina

I loved everything, location, reception, food, bed. The aroma when you come into the hotel is this amazing aromatherapy. Pool was nice and relaxing. I can’t wait to return.

I wish I had not booked a standard room I didn’t realize there was only a view of the wall. Next time I will make sure I get a beautiful view of Taormina.

Room with a view and great breakfast

The bed was large and comfortable. The breakfast is incredible - beat selection of savoury, sweet, hot and cold options so far on the Sicily trip. Lovely view of the ocean from the room, past some grimy buildings directly in front (level 1) but that didnt seen to impact it.

The room was fairly small and the shower was tiny, it would not have been comfortable for 2 people to share. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room.

Piękne miejsce do którego chce się wracać!

Bardzo miła obsługa, czyste i piękne pokoje. Świetny obiekt w samym centrum Taorminy. Śniadanie przepyszne i różnorodne. Obsługa na recepcji miła i pomocna o każdej porze dnia! Naprawdę idealny na wakacyjny pobyt. Szczerze polecam i na pewno jeszcze tam wrócę!

Alkohol mógłby nie być podawany w plastikowych kieliszkach.

The perfect Sicilian stay

Our second time staying at this hotel and it was absolutely perfect (again). The staff were amazing and even gave us a room upgrade upon check in which we were super grateful for. The location is perfect with a 2 minute walk into the old town of Taormina and the hotel itself is stunning, perfectly decorated and has a beautiful vibe. We will continue to visit this hotel each time we travel to Sicily (which is often!)

The location and the staff

The food, the room. No art on The walls made the room feel sterile. I booked a sea view and it was only a partial view of the sea. The breakfast food was poor quality. The staff was amazing.

Magnificent view and very nice location!

I loved the location of the hotel, we had a room with balcony and the view was so beautiful! Also, the rooms look way nicer that in the photos. We had a newly renovated room, on the same floor as the pool. Even though we didn’t get to take a swim in the pool, we spent some time on the terrace and again, the beautiful is absolutely gorgeous, and also the pool patio. We also liked the fact that the hotel is on walking distance to the main city areas and also it was very convenient that they a valet parking!

The breakfast was not that generous but it was ok

Molto buono, tranne per il parcheggio!

La posizione del hotel, la colazione e la stanza.

Ho scelto esclusivamente questo hotel perché su booking c è scritto "parcheggio" e non "parcheggio a pagamento". Al nostro arrivo e precedentemente, dopo la prenotazione, c è stato comunicato che il parcheggio non c è. Bisogna o parcheggiare nel parcheggio comune al costo di 23 euro al giorno o parcheggiare con il loro servizio al costo di 20 euro a notte! Al pagamento ci è stato poi detto che dobbiamo pagare direttamente il servizio parcheggio e non c è stata data nessuna ricevuta fiscale (scontrino). Da un Hotel rinomato non mi aspetto questo tipo di servizio. Inoltre siamo andati a vedere dove posteggiano le macchine ed è semplicemente un prato in discesa, scoperto chiuso da un recinto. Per 20 euro a notte a mio parere dovrebbe essere minimo coperto. A questo punto conviene fare il ticket nel parcheggio comune nel quale si ha almeno la ricevuta e il posto al coperto.

Gutes Hotel jedoch nicht top Klasse

Die Lage ist unmittelbar bei der wunderschönen Altstadt. Das Hotel bietet einen geheizten Pool, was im Oktober sehr praktisch ist, da das Hotel nur paar Sonnenstunden am Morgen geniesst ansonsten nur im Schatten liegt. Super Parkplatz Service mit bring- holdienst. Preis 20 Euro pro Nacht sind hier normal. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Die Zimmer sind leider sehr hellhörig und Gespräche, Handy etc sind extrem gut hörbar im Nebenzimmer. An kleinen Details merkt man das dieses Hotel nicht ganz top Klasse ist. Zb die Frage nach 2 Weinglässer für aufs Zimmer wurde mit: das kostet aber extra, beantwortet. Das entäuschte sehr.

Very good

The location is very central, and the facilities are great. Rooms are clean and the view from the terrace is spectacular. The breakfast is amazing!

There was a mix up with the assignment of rooms, so for the first night we got a different room from what we had booked. The staff did sort it out and we got into the correct room the next night.

Incredible hotel and experience

Lovely staff, beautiful rooms and incredible location. The valet service was particularly amazing - coming to us on scooter to help bring us to the hotel (doing a 20 min loop) and looking after the car really well. Thank you!

Beautiful location & pretty traditional Sicilian hotel

The location of the hotel is perfect, only a short walk into the city. Lots of restaurants & cafes nearby. The pool was gorgeous, yes limited beds but we found most people didn't stay around the pool for the whole day so you could always get one later in the afternoon. Pool bar man was lovely & always looked after us. Omelette chef at breakfast was lovely & breakfast was good. Cleaners very good, rooms were kept immaculate the whole stay.

Reception staff not the friendliest. Pool food expensive (apart from the aranchini) we paid €30 for 2x chicken salads & they were a poor standard with processed chicken. Room 201-202 you could hear the bins being emptied extremely loudly every morning around 6am. I’m an early riser so didn’t bother me too much but I could see how that could annoy others so maybe ask for a room on the pool side. No coffee making facilities in the rooms & we found drinks a little expensive.

Great stay in Toarmina

Property was nice and had everything needed. Rooms are small and a little dated. Location and staff are fabulous. Tomas was amazing and really very helpful during our whole stay.

We wanted to iron some clothes and they said they don’t have iron for the customers, so we gave them the clothes to take it in the laundry for that service, they charged us 20£ for two shirts and 1 trouser, and was not well ironed

Great location, clean and modern hotel with nice views of the sea.

The property is located within great proximity to Corso Umberto with easy access to the Funivia to get down to the beach. The views are very nice. The property is exceptionally clean and modern. The staff are helpful. The pool and pool deck have been completely redone and the restaurant and breakfast service are fantastic.

The location was good as just far enough away from the main area of Taormina but close enough to still walk in The breakfast staff were very friendly

I don’t think that customers should be allowed to save day beds around pool area as pool staff allow ,, it’s a small pool area with limited day beds & if your not there to use the beds then too bad - one afternoon there were 5 day beds reserved for 3 hours with no one on them just towels & pool staff told me they were reserved - get up with the times …

The location was great, We have a small balcony with city and sea view. Historical center was ten minutes walking distance. valet parking system was well working.

Good location and splendid views in beautiful Taormina

Nice design in the lobby, the location and the view is fantastic. OK breakfast. Beds were comfy and the rooms were clean. Nice, but small pool area with friendly staff.

The roms were not ready at 15.00. On the day of arrival there was no water in the afternoon. We were told the water should be ok by 18.00, however it wasn’t back until much later. We can understand the situation, but had no information from the hotel and had to ask the lobby for updates. Overall, the service in the lobby could be a bit more friendly. We had booked two rooms. One had a nice bathroom, the other bathroom could need some renovation. «Aggressive» air conditioning in one of the rooms. A coffee machine and a couple of glasses in the room would have been nice. Sun beds occupied from early morning. There were’t that many sun beds - most of them «booked» by the same family all day long. The hotel can’t be blamed for this but a policy for booking could be considered.
