A lovely stay…

Nicely renovated hotel near the seafront. I have been coming to La Tranche since I was a child, although we had our own place then. I didn’t even know this place existed, it’s a good location, not too close to the centre, which meant it was quiet and I expect it’s great in the summer. Free Carpark across the street.

Thin walls, so could hear people going to the toilet and walking up and down the stairs from reception.

La proximité des plage et du centre ville. La piscine, la location sur place de vélos. Le service, le sourire, et la disponibilité et la propreté. Petits déjeuners impeccables.

Chambre suffisante mais salle d'eau un peu juste (lavabo et WC). Le matelas un peu dur (1 sur 2) Pas de proposition de chambre avec vue sur mer lors de la commande. Ce sont de petits détails qui ne remettent pas en cause l'essentiel.

Séjour parfait.

L'hôtel est idéalement placé dans un endroit tranquille. De très bonnes prestations dont la piscine et le spa avec vue sur la plage. Un grand parking et un accès à pied à la plage, aux bars/restaurants, aux rues piétonnes et au centre bourg de la Tranche sur mer. Je reviendrai.

Lovely, family-run hotel near the beach

Family-run hotel, spotlessly clean, tasty breakfast, comfortable rooms, very friendly and welcoming, and free parking.

The road has recently been made one way and includes very good cycle lanes, but the GPS navigation systems are not aware of the one-way system.

A fantastic hotel right near beach and town.

Lovely spot right by the beach. Very friendly and welcoming. Garage to put my bicycle overnight.

Needed a sign to indacte switches for shutters. Small point tho - I worked it out very quickly!

The proprietors were really lovely, the lady speaks English very well. The situation is wonderful, perhaps when the resort is busy, it's not as quiet as it was in mid June. We did wonder if the breakfast costs were a little high.

We thought that the Terrace of our room would be private, however, other guests can walk past it on a communal pathway.

Central Location

There was some where secure to store our bikes over night. Good range of choices for breakfast. The hotel was close to the centre of town. The hotel staff were friendly.

Excellent hotel with friendly staff

Les Dunes is a very good 3-star hotel with an indoor pool and parking directly at the beach. The staff is exceptionally friendly, the rooms are clean and the breakfast buffet is abundant. After the first day, we received an e-mail with a feedback form from the hotel asking us if everything was ok and if we had any wishes. I inquired if it was possible to have some cucumber for breakfast, too and next morning I found it on the buffet. It was just a detail but I consider this absolutely great and professional service, better than in many 4- or 5-star hotels I know! Keep it up!

The only thing that should be improved is the WiFi. It was very hard to connect to it and rather slow.

Superb!

We genuinely liked everything. Location fantastic with excellent on-site parking. Comfy rooms, great bed and good showers, all very clean. Staff were amazing, extremely friendly and really went over and beyond to help us with our tricky “return to UK” forms, thank you! Will definitely return & would not hesitate to recommend.

excellent seaside Hotel and Staff.

location and helpful english speaking staff. I did not have time to check the swimming pool but it looked great. The parking was excellent in a town where parking can be difficult to find. And after check-out the staff kindly let us use it for a few hours while we had lunch in town.

very minor - it could have had a fan in the room for hot weather and china cups instead of paper for the supplied kettle.
