Ok stay for a night or two

Its a simple place, near the center of Fafe. I stayed in one of the new rooms (I think, the place is still undergoing renovation - but there was no noise because of that). The bed and the mattress was very comfy. The A/C was working well. The shower had hot water. WiFi reception was great. Staff members nice and helpful.

Unfortunately, the bathroom smells really bad (the smell of gray water) hence the whole room stinks. While the bathroom is new and looks nice, it seems everything was done with cheap materials and without precision: e.g. the shower leaks at many places, and you cannot close the shower-door. Also, the desk and the chair was probably reused from the old rooms, and they looked overused and dirty.

Amazing

The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The lady at the reception is kind and friendly. There were not enough coins to pay for the laundry, but she said that was not a problem. She also folded my clothes neatly. I paid only 1.5 euros! To me her thoughtfulness goes beyond a 5 star hotel. I felt the kindness of Portuguese people and it was a good memory of my trip to Portugal.

Good bed, bathroom unclean, no elevator

Bed was good and clean, the mattress was ok, a bit loud. Good value for your money.

Bathroom was not so clean and modern. We stayed on the third floor with no elevator.

Exceptional

The staff were very friendly and had great ideas on what to do, see and eat. The room was exactly as described. Very comfortable and great value for money
