A light filled comfortable 2 bedrooms apartment located at the front of The Historic Cora Lynn complex, situated in the center of Lorne with an undercover car park for one car. It is perfect for a romantic getaway or a family holiday.

Pleasant place, very clean, every facility.
I didn't feel comfortable with waiting for key code at the last minute, knowing how wifi can let you down. But the owner gave me her phone number so that gave me confidence.
I first stayed at these premises in 1946. The makeover is amazing. I will return.

Absolutely loved our stay! Apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Loved having breakfast in the courtyard. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend!

A great escape with everything close by. Surf beach 5 min walk across the road. Cafes and shops as you walk out the door. River bush walk near by. Apartment has everything you need. We had very hot weather but apartment remained cool not needing to use the air conditioner. We love staying here and come each year.

This location is so convenient. We loved using the courtyard and friends that were walking past would drop in knowing we were home. Having the BBQ is perfect when on holiday.

We had a lovely time staying here just before Christmas- it was a family girls trip and we all really enjoyed it . The unit was clean and had everything we needed in it including pots/pans etc. The location was great being just at the end of the shops - we walked everywhere! We highly recommend staying here and will do so again in future. 😊

Everything was good except that I tried to contact owner about an issue with internet. Asked her to ring back but she didn't. I finally resolved it but I was not happy about the response. What if I could not have resolved it

We enjoyed our stay - thank you, but some notes:
1. The batteries in main TV remote were corroded and we had to use batteries from other remote.
2. The shower has hot and cold water swapped which took a while to figure out.
3. Oven probably needs deep clean - we baked in foil which produced no smoke itself, but enough smoke from oven triggered smoke alarm.

The property was in a great location, walking distance to everything we wanted. It could do with a little revamp in the bathroom and with lighting in the living/kitchen area, but otherwise fine. Please be aware prior to booking that YOU must bring your own bed sheets, towels and tea towels, which was not clearly stated in the property description which was disappointing. Eventhough centrally located, we did not find it noisy at all.

We really enjoyed our stay

This was our first stay at the property and we were so pleased with Unit 2. The outdoor courtyard with BBQ was very well used. We forgot to pack the boogie boards only to find some available for us to use along with beach chairs - terrific. We took our bikes but found that we could walk to everything so the car and the bikes didn't get used.
Great little apartment for our annual one week Lorne holiday.

Great spot to stay.
The property had almost everything we needed for a great stay. Open the gate of the front courtyard and you are on the main drag. Lots of choice for dining an easy walk away. Our only concern was having to provide our own linen, towels, tea towel etc. Hopefully this could be included in the future. Will certainly consider again when we return to Lorne.

We very much enjoy staying staying at this apartment in Lorne our 3rd year. It has a fantastic location with the shops and beach very nearby. The apartment has facilities that meet our needs with enough space for our family of four. We look forward to coming back next year.

Great location, disappointing experience.
Myself, my husband and my 20 and 22 year old stayed at this apartment for 10 nights over the January summer period. The location is amazing and cannot be faulted. The apartment was a little small for my family due to the length of our stay, although for a shorter period would be fine. We did enjoy our stay although after check out we had a disappointing experience with out host afterwards. Upon check out we ensured we cleaned the apartment very well. This included scrubbing the shower and hosing down the courtyard, which we believed was an extra effort on our behalf. We were very disappointed to hear our host had then requested an additional cleaning fee from my card after check out due to there being sand in the property. Given the fact that we had clearly swept using their inadequate cleaning tools before checking out as well as having a beach side apartment rented out during the summertime, we were very disappointed with this. I would stay in this complex again, although will be going through a different apartment after this experience.

Lovely place
My only gripe would be the cooking utensils. The pots and pans need updating along with the stove. I couldn't see which dial reflected which hotplate. There was no pasta pot so pasta had to bo cooked in 2 lots. Otherwise, a lovely place.

There is a bus stop out the front and it’s on a main road so can be a bit noisy, but it didn’t really bother us. The wifi is good, we were working while there so it was important to us. The beds are comfortable and it has everything you need. Could do with air conditioning in the lounge room, it’s only in the bedroom. And it would be good if the TV was upgraded so you can watch Netflix. But if you don’t care about that it’s fine. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
