The location is amazing!! Right on the beach on the quieter part of the island.

Eno was a fantastic host. He collected us from the jetty and made us breakfast each morning. Eno even organised a day tour to the forest and beach on the other side of the island. We wished we could stay for another week.

Eno, the host, was very helpful in picking us up and dropping us off at the jetty. He also organised a water taxi and land taxi for us to explore the island. Eno took us on his boat to Tekek and waited with us until the land taxi arrived. He went above and beyond. The Beach House was very pretty with great sea views. The air con unit and shower worked well. The bed and mosquito net were great. We always felt safe and comfortable in the Beach House. We could hear the rolling waves of the sea as we fell asleep which I don't think you'd get anywhere else. It's truly unique.
There was nothing bad with the accommodation but we did have a few things that would have made it really perfect. It would have been nice if toilet roll and shampoo were automatically provided. The towels were made of fluffy blanket material so not very absorbent. We resorted to using our own microfiber towels. Perhaps cotton towels would be more suitable. The listing states that there is a bath, however, there is only a shower available. Similarly with breakfast, it's listed as a buffet, but was not a large buffet, so not as we expected, however, Eno and his wife did cook either omelette or noodles for us each day which was nice, and we helped ourselves to coffee and toast.

Perfect getaway for people seeking peace and quiet. The private setting is exceptional with beachfront position and magnificent outlook. Fantastic walking trails and snorkelling opportunities and plenty of monitor lizards with which to share the island’s oversupply of mangoes. Eno and Fisa are the best possible hosts who understand the need for a healthy balance between accessibility and discretion. Their breakfasts are delicious too - especially the Roti Jala.

lovely owners, great privacy, directly at the beach. the self made apartments for a chill out time, free pick from the jetty and free ride to the jetty
the visitors should take into account that you cannot swim in the afternoon. and if you would like to go from place to place you have to take a ferry. walking is possible, but far and through the jungle

It's simply an amazing experience, get to know the people in the village, eat well, trek, relax and sleep better.
Simply magical.

Beautiful and quiet place.
Very warm hospitality.
Run by a local, very skilled, person
A little bit overpriced for the off-season period

This property (Beach House) is good and can occupy 2 adults comfortably. The host (Mr Eno) also very friendly and helpful.
The beach is very private, if you are kind of person who love to be alone and peaceful, Kg Genting or Beach House is suitable for you. You can enjoy the beach just in front of your room and can spent your time privately at the beach (less people around). Mr Eno and his wife really kind and friendly, they provide us with very simple and tasty breakfast (Fried noodle and fried rice comes with hot coffee).
Toilet also very clean, even the pressure of the water heater are not so good but that was okay for us. The room have no iron and kettle but you will always can gets Eno to prepare it for you. I really recommend this Beach House to you if you find a place for relaxing and privacy.
With few hiccups here and there that we experienced, we still enjoy our stayed at Beach House and we will definitely comes again with better preparation! Kudos to Eno and his family's hospitality!!
The Kg Genting is a small village, the village are not crowded as other villages (quite place). Unfortunately, as per my experienced here (everyone's experienced would be different and vary) the villagers are not really friendly except for Eno's family, the one young man at the jetty and the owner of the café (besides Sunbeach Resort Café). When we getting there, on our first night we walked to the nearest café and along the road, when we bumped into the villagers, they will look at us awkwardly and you will be uncomfortable with the looking. We still remind calm and just enjoy our stay here in Kg Genting. Even though there are few choices of restaurant/café, but we still can find the decent one, you have to walk like 10-15 mins to get there and all food they sold are good and tasty (as they live in island and I have mindset that the price will be a bit higher, that's normal and ok for me).
Since it is an island and behind the village was a jungle, mosquito attack is normal, please bring your mosquito net or repellent as well.
My second bad experienced was we reserved a dinner at Melina Beach Resort, as what been convey to us by Melina Beach Resort staff, their resort is near to Beach House without telling us the road will be darker and dangerous if you go at night. We priorities our safety and had to cancel the dinner (booking fee RM150 non-refundable ya). If you want to book other café in other village, please ensure the distance, details of the location and safety of yourself.

If you're looking for genuine, honest Malaysian hospitality in a peaceful and idyllic bay - you won't find better. Loved it here. Eno and Fiza are fantastic hosts!

Peaceful and relaxing. Clean room and toilet. Friendly host. You can spend a whole day at the beach or relaxing at the gazebo. It felt like paradise on earth.
10min walk from jetty, so you have the beach to yourself, no crowds.
Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Kg. Genting
Would be good to have a kettle in the room but not a major issue (host provides hot water upon request)

1. Since the resort is located deep inside from the jetty, therefore, the environment is so harmony indeed peaceful. Perfectly for mind relaxing.
2. Approximately 30 minutes of jungle trekking to the Paya Beach which is a happening & chill beach compare to Genting beach.
1. The location is 1.2 km from jetty indeed the only mini mart/duty free shop or restaurant. Therefore, stamina is required if you wish to stay at here.
2. Too simple breakfast.

The owner Eno and his wife Fiza (and their cute daughter Hanum) are very nice and humble host. The chalets were superb. We learned that Eno built them himself from scratch. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The sea front beach gazebo was the best. The village surrounding was very pleasant.
Breakfast was simple but good, home-cooked by his wife. There are plenty of eating places within walking distance. Strolling around the Kampung Genting area was a memorable malay village atmosphere. People were nice.
The hot water pressure was a bit low but it served the purpose.

Outstanding, fantastic place to relax. Beautiful beach for snorkeling, swimming.
Very kind, lovely staffs.
Simple and delicious breakfast.
FYI, no TV, poor WiFi connection, no fridge.
You can buy water, snacks, mosquito repellent etc. in mini market near Genting jetty. Also, there are several restaurants.
It is worthy slight inconvenience.
Actually, there is no cons for me since I prepared brought own amenities and towels referred from some reviews.

great location with a great host. there are only two bungalows, a house of the host, and the beach, makes it a unique experience

The Beach House is very unique. It was build by the owner, Eno. The room facing to the stunning sea view. Thank you for your hospitality, we do enjoy our stay in Beach House. Thanks again to the Owner, Eno and his wife Fiza.

The 2 "beach houses" are really cute, new, clean and with nice decoration. The bathroom is almost like a 4 star hotel's ;) Directly facing the sea and practically on the beach. One house has a detached patio with a hammock, really nice! Eno and his wife are always around and happy to help.
A few fruits or maybe a fresh coconut added to breakfast would be nice. Bring your own face towels and toiletries, no soap etc provided (which is ok, but obviously i forgot to bring any; there is a supermarket in the village so no drama). There is no wifi in the rooms but good mobile reception, so make sure you have a good roaming package.

The Beach House and hospitality from Eno and his family was fantastic. I stayed for 6 nights, had an absolutely wonderful time/stay and will definitely head back there at some point in the future, hopefully next year. Thank you very much.
Wi-Fi only could be improved

We love this place! It is really like paradise. The accommodation is very clean.
A mosquito net and toilet paper were missing.

Dream location for somebody that likes beautiful views and quietness as well as snorkelling and diving
Be aware that there are a lot of animals around since you‘re on an island that‘s barely inhabitet

The place is located almost at the end of Kampung Genting. If you're looking for a private place the beach house is the perfect spot. It is very quite and the place is super clean too. There are these huge rocks infront of the rooms where you can just lay down and look at the stars at night. You will get the beach to yourself during the day but water shoes are recommended because the beach is a bit rocky but the water is too clear to not to swim. The owner Eno is very accommodating and friendly. Would Definitely come again someday
The place is a bit far from the jetty where the convenience store and the other restaurants are however you can walk there and there are also restaurants nearby. I also wish the room would have a fridge and water kettle.

Its literally paradise scenery, private beach, warm sea water, beautiful plants. The place was way better than I could imagine.

Eno and his wife are very welcoming and friendly. The location is exceptional and very quiet. Eno's wife cooked for us some very tasty malaysian breakfast and we found a choice of restaurants at short walking distance. Very good bedding and tasteful decoration in the chalets.
Low pressure in the shower but unfortunately nobody can do anything about it because it's a remote island.

We had the most wonderful stay at Eno's place. The location was fantastic and short walk from Genting Jetty.
The accomodation is on a beautiful secluded section of the beach and the views were amazing. It really felt like paradise. It's easy to swim in the area and there are restaurants in walking distance for dinner. Eno even took us out on his boat for a private snorkelling trip which was a highlight of our stay and his wife's food for breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be back!
We loved everything!

The Beach House was clean and comfortable, and the owner, Eno, was very helpful and friendly. The sunset views and private beach are just amazing! There's also a small spot suitable for snorkelling just nearby. Wonderful stay! We'll be back.

Eno and his wife were incredibly accommodating. he even picked us up from the ferry and dropped us off. The room was spotless and A/C a welcome relief from the hot days. Our beach hut was right on the beach!

Thank You Eno and wifey for the amazing stay.
Me and my husband love every bit of the stay starting from the warm welcome, beautiful beach house with the relaxing view and very artistic house design. THE BEST PART IS HAVING YOUR OWN LITTLE HUT . For a spouse looking for relaxing and romantic moment this is the right place. We also enjoy the food specially made by Eno’s mom . You cannot expect it like hotel with all you can eat buffet and various of food but the breakfast provided is enough for us to keep us full to do activities. So happyy.. definitely recommended stay and surely will come again .
