Check in process needs to be improved. We should have to drive to a completely separate location to pick up the keys then drive again back to where we’re staying.
Hand and body soap smelled awful.
Great location (walking distance to chair), apartment was more than enough in size for 3 people, and it was clean.

This place was nice, though it needs updating. The beds were all hard as a rock. The place could use some new beds and a modern tv. Other than this the place was close to downtown, it says it’s an easy walk but I would t agree, we used the car to get around to most places.

Property was great, location was optimal in relation to both lift (quicksilver a few hundred feet) and Main Street (maybe 3-5 min walk). Stayed with 3 other buddies, had plenty of room. Electric fireplace was awesome, especially for us Hawaii boys not accustomed to Rocky fridgedness. Overall an easy and enjoyable experience, would definitely recommend.

The location is excellent, walking distance to the lifts. Large property with plenty of space., but very dated. Beds are probably 20 years old and so are the furnishings. TV in the bedroom might have been 12-14 inches. Also the spa is about 200 away through the snow, no very accessible for small children. Overall this is a 3 star property.

We very much enjoyed our stay! The condo was extremely convenient to both the Quicksilver Lift, walking to town and of course, apres at The Maggie. We didn’t use the car once during our stay, which was one of the primary reasons we chose this property. The open family room gave us a great space to hang out with family and friends - and the couches were super comfy! The gas fireplace was also a huge plus! We also really enjoyed having a ski rack just outside the main door to hold our skis as well as a nice mud room to keep all our boots and gear.
Some cons for us: Having to check in the old fashioned way at the office on Main Street. Would have preferred a code be sent to us. Instead, we had to use an actual key and a code to get into our condo. The beds could use an upgrade and the furniture in the bedrooms was pretty outdated, although all served they’re purpose. The hair dryer in the primary bedroom needs to be replaced as well. Minor things, but a few small updates could leave a big impression on renters.

Great location
Family of 4 stayed 3 nights here at the condo. Great location.
The kitchen is actually updated.
(The listing pictures did not show it)
Enough dishes/cups/silverware.
Pots were good enough. New pans may be nice.
Overall, satisfactory stay for a beautiful weekend getaway.

Website misleading
We enjoyed the condo and the location was great. However the listing indicated a pool area and hot tub. When we finally located the pool area it was chained closed.
Also a warning to future renters, check the fine print for the hidden fees that are added to the listed price

Great Summer Location
Nice views of trees and enjoyed hearing the river from the balcony. Short walk to downtown by momentarily getting on path by creek/Blue River and looping around Maggie Pond . Smart layout with bedrooms at one end of a longer hallway and kitchen/living at the other end, laundry and extra half bath in the hallway. Sheets/bed in very small bedroom worn but awessome private bath. Hard to hang any clothes in this room. Other bedroom was quite large with myuch storage. A great location for a summer stay if you are wanting nature and yet extremely close proximity to town.

Just as listed!
We had a great time! Really good location with access to the river and trails to explore. Easy to get everywhere in town. The condo was very comfortable.

Worked well for us.
The condo was exactly as advertised and we had plenty of room and appreciated the two master suites (bathrooms for each bedroom). Also appreciated finding coffee and filters already stocked -- made the first morning more enjoyable for sure! There were a few little issues that I forwarded to the management in an email -- like the one toilet would continue to run off and on -- but nothing that impacted our stay. One thing I would like to state for this condo and many, many other lodging opportunities -- I do not appreciated the enhanced photos. Just show me the real thing.

Great property super close to peak 9 lift. Close to downtown shops. Spacious.

Great lift and village proximity!
Great lodge, very close to lift and Breck village. Large living room. Parking was easy. Hot tub is across the street and is a multi-lodge shared deal, so it was busy but still pretty good. Would probably book again.

Convenient condo at base of Peak 9
Our family stayed in this unit during December of 2018 for a ski trip. This unit is in a very convenient location near the base of Peak 9. It is walking distance to Main Street and close to the free bus stop.
The condo complex is well maintained on the outside, with sidewalks shoveled and stairs cleared of snow regularly. It was nice to have underground garage parking so we didn't have to worry about defrosting our car when we went out. It appeared all units had exterior ski racks as well.
Our experience with the interior of the unit was mostly positive. The unit has a decent amount of space and we were able to spread out as a family of 4. The entry area with a bench and gear hooks was very useful and much appreciated to store our ski jackets, helmets, etc. The full size washer and dryer were located in the hallway and held all the ski gear that needed washing every night.
The kitchen is large enough for two people to work at the same time. The appliances were probably replaced sometime in the last few years and functioned well. The cabinets were very cluttered and it was difficult to figure out what was actually there. In addition the interior of the cabinets was a little dirty. We even found some pans that were not clean in the cabinets. A little TLC would go a long way in the kitchen.
The bedrooms and sleeping options were underwhelming. One bedroom has a double/queen bed and is tiny. The second bedroom has a queen and a twin with a trundle. The second bedroom is the "master" and has a nice size closet. The linens on the beds need to be replaced. It wasn't obvious the comforters on the beds had been washed recently, but the sheets were clean. There were no sheets provided for the queen sleeper sofa, so we had to get creative. The mattresses weren't great, but we were so tired we slept anyway. The carpet in the master was dirty and needs a deep cleaning. We found trash from a previous tenant on the window sill - probably because the cleaning staff hadn't bothered to open the drapery to clean behind it.
There are 2.5 bathrooms and all have been updated. The bathrooms were clean and showers had decent water pressure. We ran out of hot water several times that appeared to be random.
Overall we were very happy with the location and size of the unit. It feels a bit tired with the worn furniture, bed linens, kitchen cabinets and carpeting all needing to be replaced.
We will look to stay in this building again.

Great for a ski vacation
We had a great time on our ski vacation. We were close to everything (ski rental, ski lift, restaurants, etc). I went there with my four small children and it was all very convenient walking around with our kids.

March 2018 Stay
There are so many things that I really like about this unit, there are just a few details that would have made it great. The condo is spacious and great for a family of 7 if you want to have room to move. If your young and more adventurous, there is room for 9. The Master Bedroom is spacious, has plenty of storage and a walk in closet and has room for three people. The spare bedroom has room for 2 adults. There are several sofas (a pullout - not for comfort but functions) in the main room (there is a good sized nook that could work for two kids or young adults, but it is open to the whole house). The sofa's in the main area are a bit worn out and not very comfortable to sit on - definitely not very comfortable to sleep on! The seats are sunken in after years of use and really need to be replaced or reinforced. When I read other reviews that it was a bit outdated, I didn't get that impression from the pictures. The furnishings and decor are outdated, but it didn't bother me.

February 2018 Stay
This is the third Powderhorn unit I have stayed at and the first with Great Western Lodging. The unit itself is very spacious and nice, but dated, like most all condo units in Breck. My primary complaint is that Great Western Lodging does not have a shuttle service, which makes getting around town very expensive using Uber, as public transportation is not something anyone with kids realistically wants to rely on in cold weather.

Location is everything
close to the slopes and shops and who wouldn't want that for a ski vacation. The condo was well equipped with enough amenities that it was like being at home.

Perfect 2 bedroom 3 bath that is perfect for a larger group
Great location with good view and cozy fireplace. Only complaint was the kitchen was not stocked with any spices other than salt and pepper.

September 2017 Stay
The large living room with 3 pullout couches was a plus. We enjoyed our stay and easy walk to the south side of town. There was plenty of room to store our bikes in the garage.
