Great place for a small family reunion. Clean and beautiful patio area. It would have been helpful to have some information on how certain things work or turn on but not a biggie. Also it was a shock to have no bathroom door on a room that 6 people can share upstairs l

Me and my family had a lot of fun during our stay I lived that I could bring my dog and right up the street take off walking in the mountains. My kids enjoyed the hot tub and it was just a short drive to take the grandkids to the park and then do some shopping. .

We enjoyed our stay. It is centrally located and great spot for stargazing. The A.C. Doesn’t work great and seems to be set at a temp. It was warm. I appreciate sleeping in the cold. It was not even cool. Upstairs especially. I suggest the owners by some fans or guests throw one in tbe trunk!
Otherwise it was great.

This was a nice experience in a spacious home with everything you might need for a great 4th of July weekend with friends! The kitchen was well supplied and they have an excellent gas bbq as well. This home is comfortable and inviting! The only thing I could wish for, would be AC, as it was over 100 degrees while we were there. But the water cooling system would likely be just fine in a bit cooler weather. The neighborhood was very quiet and the views were excellent!

This house was a great getaway for us and our friends over the new year. Close to many hiking trails and only a mile to downtown Kernville. Mary was a great host and directions for check-in/check-out were easy to follow. We cooked most meals at the house and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Would love to stay here again!

Very nice entertainment space outdoors.
This is a very nice place and very spacious. The outdoor area is great for dinner entertaining. Just need to wrap up around 9pm as this is in a neighbor hood and they will complain if you are outdoors late into evening (even if you are not loud)

Relaxing, Convenient Home
We rented this home to have proximity to the river and also the snow and we were not disappointed. We spent our days hiking (both right out the door and along the river) and XC skiing and sledding near Alta Sierra which is less than 30 minutes away. In the chilly evenings we made our own meals in the well stocked kitchen, star gazed on the beautiful patio, and relaxed in the warm house. The owners are easy to reach, very kind, and the entire rental process was straightforward. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Renting this property was the right thing to do. It was spacious enough for my family and super close to the river, which is where we spent most of our time. Nice getaway to mountains
Was clean and well stocked, had coffee (no sugar but had artificial sweetener if important to you), water, and wine for us. Lots of space. Close to mountains and river we were looking for. Easy to access and many outdoor seating areas for reading and visiting during our family stay. We had a great time.

Mary and her husband were responsive all along.House is in a perfect location nestled in mountains. Mary has ensured to provide quality experience for her guests. It was clean and we had a wonderful experience with all the amenities like fire pit and hot tub. Kitchen was well stocKed. It even had a slow cooker, although I did not end up using it. What could be improved:- Instructions to turn on the fire pit, instructions to operate the hot tub, outdoor light locations (as they are nicely tucked away).- It would have also been great to have washer+dryer as that makes traveling with family more convenient. (House doesn’t come with one for guests use)

Mountain getaway
We absolutely loved staying in this wonderful home. It was right up in the mountains, quiet, and spacious. They provided many essential items that are usually easy to forget. The host are super nice and quick to reply. If you are planning on going to Sequoia National Park however, this is about a three hour drive. It was still worth it! Our little ones took full advantage of the home and there was no need to leave!

Beautiful Cabin Property
We stayed for a short family trip and this rental was just perfect. Mary, the owner, was always available for contact and responded quickly to all communication. The cabin was just as beautiful as the pictures and many things were included for our use. My family and I felt comfortable and very welcomed into the home. Thank you for allowing your property to be a part of our special weekend!

Much needed getaway
A group of our extended family really needed some time to relax and enjoy each other's company. Mary's house was the perfect place for it! It had everything we needed, spacious and well appointed, with comfy beds and close to the river where we enjoyed tubing. The fire pit and spa created peaceful spots for conversation (though we couldn't get the jets to work, the water was nice and hot). Would definitely love to come back during rafting season
