Can walk to anything in the town center! Right on the water! Charming, quirky apartment.
Wish there was a proper bed. Just a sofa bed.

The hosts were very accommodating, they arranged for me to access the apartment earlier than scheduled. i also could keep my stuff in the cellar on the day of the departure.
The view through the windows is great.

Cosy house by the water - perfect location for exploring Stavanger! The host, Daniel, is very helpful and provided many useful tips for parking as well as offered a paid pickup service from the airport when we arrived around midnight. Will recommend!
Would appreciate more storage space for keeping our belongings as we had to leave everything in the suitcase but that is just a minor issue and didn't ruin our experience at all.

Great place in the historical part of Stavanger, near the sea. Once you stepped inside, you were in the different world, but still you had all you need for comfortable stay. Shops, museums and station in the walk distance.

We loved almost everything, especially apartment's location and traditional style. It was just amazing!!! They are in the Gamle Stavanger (old town), in the front row! You can see port, cruises and ships from your window. It's not just apartment, it is a feeling, if I could say :)

This apartment locates near the city centre and I have an excellent view from my window.
A little cold and a lot of ants:)

The room is quite unique and comfort.
The stairs are too small to lift the luggages up to the room.

Too much noise during weekend at night

Great location, in old city, overlooking harbour and bars and attractions all close by.
Attractive historic apartment, that has been maintained well and has good facilities. Great shower, simple cooking facilities as needed and comfy sofa bed. Warm and cosy.
Host sent useful tips on parking etc... before arrival and made me feel confident I could contact them if had any issues, which I didn't.
Only recommendation would be some added storage. Loads of space, and massive wardrobe could use, but some drawers to store clothes etc.. in corner of room would make that extra small difference from exceptional to perfect. Oh, and some wine glasses if being picky!

We stayed in the ground floor apartment which has two bedrooms, one of which has a wardrobe and floor space, and the other one just enough room for a double bed. Great location and close to everything you need, including bus and train stations along with local nightlife, pubs and restaurants.
The apartment is well equipped with everything you would need. There were four of us (two couples) sharing for 9 nights and it was fine.
There were ants in the kitchen so we had to be careful with food etc. Also only one bathroom, which isn't ideal. Also could do with more pillows and towels.
Had a couple of teething problems with accessing TV stations and stopping the fire alarm box beeping, but they were fixed almost immediately.
Daniel always seemed to be on hand for any help we needed, which was great. And he also recommended a cheap car rental website called Getaround - just make sure to register all your driver details before you go to save any hassle.
All in all, a lovely cosy, authentic Norwegian apartment, and we would stay again. Thanks!

Very nice apartment in Stavanger. Very comfortable

The location was great for enjoying the centre of Stavanger.
2 very small bedrooms, neither of which had any heating at all, one had no electric sockets, nor anywhere to store clothes. Apart from a bathroom mirror there was no other mirror in the property.
Any sockets there were were either at ankle height or ceiling height.
The road outside was quite noisey, as was the music up to 2am from the bars, clubs across the harbour.
If you are young and want a couple of days enjoying the Stavanger nightlife then it's perfect.
