Being refurbished very run down very unclean very uncomfortable double bed in 2 half's had to wait for a builder to return the room key Indian builders had gone for lunch the whole place smelt of curry
Room was not clean nice place nice location just run down and un clean in my opinion the new owners should have closed it down until it was finished

The size of this place is brill lots of potential
The decor in the hotel is very dated along with absolutely everything else in there every single door slams shut very loud so not good at night time for your self and others there’s no cctv any where that I seen and I did look on every set of fairs I went up and I was the last from the top not Safe for many reasons no covering at the windows other then curtains so on a lovely day for any privacy they have to be shut, no bath matt the milk given to us was off and there are homeless people to workers staying there long term approaching guests to buy stolen stuff for the price it’s not good

Friendly staff lovely little touches in your room
Some of the hall ways need up dating and cleaning a little better

The location was fab for what we needed.
Hotel manager was lovely
The smell of weed and smoking in corridors.
The state of disrepair of rooms-
Room 1 had brown water in light fitting and shower base and mold on window so was given another room- wall and electric socket moved and shower flooded the bathroom.
Room 2 was bridal suite with massive corner bath jacuzzi but jacuzzi didn't work-wardrobe was dusty and dirty inside-cupboard with TV on didn't close-curtain rail was broken-one of the bathroom sinks was cracked and the toilet didn't flush properly.

The way out !
The state of the place from broken window in the front of the building, the terrible state of everything inside, the fire doors all illegally wedged open, the state of the room particularly the bathroom, the missing door handle. The only decent thing was the TV.

loved how much space there was in the room, the bed was comfy the bath was huge. wished I had somewhere like this in my home.
That the jacuzzi in the bath wasn’t able to work due to it needing a new part, was looking forwards to it but can’t be helped.
also, had no signal for the telly no matter what channel it was on but again, can’t be helped.
not really got anything bad to say.

I didn't like anything, and I did not stop the night
I would not suggest anyone stopped in this place, I paid 75 pound for the night and I will definitely not be going back, I left at half 7 the night I arrived, I did not stay the night at all. I tried to find somewhere else but they sounded just as bad as the place I was at. I would like my money back from this place as it was not worth the trouble of going to the place at all. There was no hot water in the bathroom, there was black mold in the bedroom and bathroom. It smelt of stale cigarettes and damp. the building was in poor condition. When we questioned regarding there being no hot water the reply was "we have hot water so you should have too" which never came. When I explained about my daughters autism because she prefers baths to showers we got the reply of "Oh being fussy then is it" We were told to run the hot water for 5 minutes and we run it for ten and still nothing so we decided to leave the place. I tried to upload photos but they said they were too small for the site. The pictures on the site for the Bridge hotel are not what we got when we got there. When we got there the room was not what we expected from the pictures at all.

Not anythimg of note

Hotel about 4 mins walk from the train station. Bed was comfortable & clean Towels were soft & hair & shower gel were good. Coat hangers were mixed plastic & metal, but easy to get off the rail instead of security ones. Tea & coffee satchets were ok. Good drinking mugs. There was an electric heater in the room should i have needed it. Hairdryer worked.
No one on reception wen we arrived. Had to use a telephone push button locater. Took abt 5 mins for the person to arrive.
. No lift. 2 flights of stairs to my room. The guy helped me with my case. Ceiling light didnt work. TV didnt connect till later in the evening. Wouldnt connect on the morning. Small windows were open, but to high to close. The hotel is on a corner near traffic lights bringing 4 roads to it. Noisy at times. The room needs a lot of work on it. Discolouration behind the toilet. Rough wall boards near the floor under the sink. Shower ledges need a deeper clean & loose board under the shower cubicle. No safety notices displayed in the room as regarding exiting in the event of a fire. No hooks behind the doors. All the carpets need shampooing in reception , staircase, landing. Discoluration. Painted areas need up grading.

Location and plenty of parking
Door lock was faulty and shower head was broken

The staff were very polite
When I 1st arrived as i was checking in , there was a maintenance guy cleaning what I thought was tomato sauce off the walls... so I joked saying.."wiping the blood off the walls already!".... turned out it was blood!
If you're looking for a peaceful nights sleep... DO NOT STAY HERE! Shouting and fights outside until 3am.... then a random guy shouting up at my window to be let in because he had forgotten his key...police sirens all night... worst nights sleep ever !

The location and price
Bed uncomfortable. No breakfast included as advertised. Front door locked when we got there, another guest let us in.once staff member arrived very apologetic.
2.3
There was a problem with the room I actually booked and they had explained fully and gave me a larger room. They don't do breakfast and have told Booking.com this, unfortunately they haven't done for 2 1/2 yrs.
My room had no shower head but, not a problem
2.3
nothing
it’s a halfway house for homeless & drink & drug addicts , we booked the top room which had a four poster bed & jacuzzi & the manager said she would knock £20 off as the jacuzzi does not work - but we still got charged full price even though we didn’t stay we left after seeing how dirty the room was , worst hotel ever.
2.3
Nothing!!
The whole place was a mess! The room was £75 and it was the worst hotel room by far ive ever stayed in!

Hotel clean and tidy
The staff attitude, feeling scared as a single woman by herself. Cut my trip short as felt very uncomfortable,
2.3
Nothing really.
The location, the room.
The hotel was run down and very dated. Had horrible smells. Rooms where not cleaned properly. I booked the room with a spa bath. Was told on arrival it did not work..didn't get offered any money back even though I payed extra for that room because of that feature.
The man who greated us was nice enough but stunk of alcohol and told us he actually uses the bath that's in our room. Which led me to buy a bottle of bleach and clean the bath before using it. Rubbish left in one of the draws.
We booked for 3 nights and I was very close to just leaving and losing the money spent.
Not worth what we paid at all.
Would not recommend.
