Good enough for a short stay on a budget

It was clean and enough for a short stay. All the kitchen supplies were in place, as well as tea, coffee, salt, sugar and such. The location was great — cozy quiet block with private houses, very close to a tram stop from where you can conveniently commute to any major tourist attraction and railway station.

The facility itself is not very comfortable — confined, dingy, slippery floors, tricky tripping step on the way to the kitchen, lousy soundproofing. Nothing too bad, but these little things add up. I also didn't appreciate it when the owner or the receptionist (don't know for sure) kept trying to talk to me in Russian, even though I specifically said I don't speak this language. 😐 He seemed quite friendly, but this thing made me very uncomfortable.

Good pick for a private and calm room

It’s cool to have a private room for the price of a bunk bed on a hostel. But be prepared to take the tram 20-25 minutes downtown Gdansk or Sopot (1 euro, not much!)

It can be noisy, but not much. One night out of three.

Location was good and price was good. The person from reception guided very well.

Heating system didn't work the whole night. I even complained and they said it works slow but it will work. But it never worked. Bed sheets weren't cleaned. There were hairs on bed sheets.

Excelent.

Don't be fooled by the budget price, Sejf is NOT a budget hotel! Thoughtfully equipped with everything advertised. Self catered with stuff bought in next door Zabka, open 6am - 11pm. 5 min. walk to tram. 2 stops to big shopping centre.

Absolutely nothing to dislike!

Superb

The interior of the place was well designed - I did like the concept. The room and facilities were nice and clean. The Receptionist was great and very helpful. Check in and check out were easy and convenient.

The layout of the room was different than on the confirmation. The room was just above the street and the curtains in windows were almost fully transparent, which did not give me enough privacy.

Simple, nice, and well equipped hostel.

Simple but very nice room with a comfortable bed. All facilities were clean and the kitchen well equipped. It is a perfect hostel for the basic needs in a welcoming environment.

Not on a hot night

The place is clean. Good beds.

The room had only a tiny window which did not let in any air and made sleeping difficult. The ventilator provided was not a good solution due to the noise it made

The kitchen and the bathroom were very clean. very easy to get to city center.

Very good place for a good price for a short stay.

Conditions realy good - room, kitchen, etc.

Very busy street near by and cigarets at the entrance. Also would be super if trash would be sorted.

Pleasant

The room was very cosy and clean.

Lots of noise from the outside at night. Also it seemed the walls are thin as I could hear others talking at night too! The shared bathroom is for all genders, was hoping to have a separate for women. No clear sign as we is the bathroom or kitchen. There is also quite bad lighting at night-I did not feel safe when coming out of the dark bathroom

The receptionist was very nice and helpful and it provided good value for money

The fact that my room was right outside the reception and the fact that the bathrooms were en suite, though i think that was included in the description
