This home offered beds for everyone. Beautiful views of mountain and lake. Cute shopping town 10 minutes away. Pool table. Many tvs. Our family reunion of 12 was wonderful!

Amazing house just in need of some TLC.

Overall we enjoyed the house. We had plenty of room for a family of 14, ages infant to adult. The views were amazing, our grandkids could walk behind the house to fish and put in our kayaks. The room above the garage did get warm but we saw the previous reviews about this. We went into town for mini golf and shopping. Everyone enjoyed the trip.

We loved the lay out of the house. The kitchen was well equipped. All rooms had a good space and plenty of closets . We fell in love with the common areas and the fact that we could all sit around the fire place. The only suggestion is that the main room has a door heading to a balcony and it has no curtain other than that it was more than perfect. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

House was very spacious and a great location! In the summer the bedroom above the garage can get warm so I suggest bringing fans.

We rent several large houses every year and this house is a dump compared to all others we have rented. The house sleeps 14. There are 6 bowls and not enough forks and spoons. Dishes are mismatched and chipped. Glasses are mostly plastic and cloudy, making them look dirty. The only electric teapot doesn’t work because the lid doesn’t close and it was shoved on a top shelf in the pantry. Almost every dining seat has huge tears and tape. Every window in the house is filthy with fingerprints and cobwebs. There are several floor lamps that lean precipitously. The front door and frame seriously needs a coat of paint as it’s very unwelcoming. The living room has no blinds and the sun is blinding in the morning. In one of the bedrooms two electrical plates are broken and wires are visible.
On our second day a leak started under the kitchen sink. There was already a bucket underneath so it was a known problem.
On our third day the oven broke and we were without an oven for four days. We were 14 people with a special diet and every meal needed to be cooked at the house for one week. We wasted time preparing food that could not be baked and had to be thrown away.
We were extremely disappointed with our experience at this house and do not recommend it.
I documented all of these issues with photos.

All dining chairs “butt sprung” and torn.
Glassware limited and chip, same for plates.
Pee trap- bucket full of water constant leaking- lucky we found it .
Pillows missing, thin, not enough.
House needs a deep clean.
Light out in loft.
Doors on lower level do not lock.
Blinds in lower bedroom broken.
We found garbage in the couch. -

Property location was great, but the property itself has many issues that property management has ignored and yet did not make renters aware of them.
I saw bedsheets and comforters are not dusted or washed (because they smell bad and when lifted a bit, you can see dust in the air). When issues were reported, property management did not take actions to address them regardless they are critical to renters or not.

We had an amazing stay. The house is beautiful and had lots of room for our family of 12 to spread out. We got to see several moose right off the deck of the house on many different days. That was one of the highlights of our trip. I just want to mention a few things you might want to look at. The dryer took 3 or 4 cycles to dry towels and the oven takes a long time to heat up. I would also suggest providing a few more towels for each bathroom. Otherwise, it was great. Thanks for a wonderful week!

House was good, there was a construction man that told us the house had sewer problems. They were trenching to run new pipes and fix the sewer.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was as described on the posting. The only thing that wasn't completed clear was what the lake access was. While we did not have our own pier, it certainly was easy enough to launch our canoe and paddleboard from a clearing behind the property. The community pier, so to speak, had easy access, had we needed to use it. We like the location in a quieter region of the lake. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

My family, all 14 of us, enjoyed our stay. We had lots of room, lots of open space to be together and plenty of space to have privacy. Great location and beautiful views!

Grand Lake at its best
We had a wonderful time in the Grand Lake area. The only problem was the time just flew by. The location was perfect to take advantage of Shadow Mountain Lake and snow covered Rocky Mountain views. Sightings from the deck included ducks, geese, pelicans, hummingbirds, a moose, and a million clear-sky stars. With the house located on the water, the kids took advantage of fishing and kayaking. Plenty of room for our extended family of 12. We get the family together once a year for a Colorado vacation. All agreed that this was the best accommodations yet.

Beautiful views!
Our trip was fantastic! We went with 3 families (6 adults, 6 kids- ages 4-10). The layout and amount of bedrooms was perfect. Each family had their own separate spaces. Location was great. Views AMAZING! Communication with Will was fast. When we had an issue with a toilet running nonstop, he sent someone over within a couple hours to fix the problem. Only wish we had… we wish there was a hot tub. Otherwise, it was a great property.

One of the best houses and views in Colorado!
Great house, quality built, nicely furnished. Sunroom is most epic room - didn't want to leave. Wish it had hot tub, but otherwise amazing place.

Great vacation
The location and views are amazing. Would definitely stay again for that reason. The house is beautiful.
Communication was very well with the owner/ manager. Check in and out was a breeze.
For a large group (13 in ours) the kitchen needed some more bowls etc so you don’t have to eat in cycles because there were not enough for everyone to eat together. The pool table was missing some pool balls.
The snow on the driveway was a little difficult to get one of our cars out so definitely advise to park up top of the property. If there is snow a disabled person may have a hard time negotiating the steep driveway. The parking pad at the bottom is heated but it’s the area in between the street and the pad.
Overall it was a beautiful place and would definitely stay again.

Lovely home, beautiful location
We spent a long weekend here as a base for a hiking trip and we’re not disappointed. The home was spacious, had great views of Shadow Mountain Lake and was located close to the town of Grand Lake. We’d recommend it for sure.

Perfect location
Three families with kids from 6-12. Plenty of room to spread out so people didn’t get overwhelmed. The location is perfect with access to RMNP 10 minutes away. Excellent fishing, paddling, cycling etc right from the house.

Family time
The location was perfect, right on Shadow Mountain Lake. The villa was so spacious with entertaining space on both floors. There was a large deck and a lovely sunroom.

Beautiful House and Amazing Views
This house has absolutely beautiful views. The photos don’t capture how well you can see the mountain peaks. Very relaxing and peaceful. The house layout is perfect for extended family, as the bedrooms are well separated, especially on the main floor. The pool table adds some fun for the whole family. And it’s a very quick drive into town. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay, the house was gorgeous with lots of space and privacy for multiple couples/families.

Great option for large groups
Location was scenic and very relaxing. House was large enough for our 4 families (kids ranged from 3yrs to 17 yrs) to share without any issues. We were there during New Years week and spent a lot of our indoor time downstairs watching football and playing pool; but would have loved it even more if the pool table and accessories were in better shape. Overall the house and furnishings worked out well for our group. Would stay here again without reservation.

Amazing Views - Big House
The house was amazing. Enough rooms and beds for everyone to have privacy and space. Common areas are great, and offer spectaular views of the lake. If you have a large group and are going to be in the Granby/Grand Lake area, I cannot recommend this house enough.

Beautiful house and excellent location
We were a group of 3 couples enjoying the lake for a fall weekend. We towed a boat up and having room to part the boat along the street and so close to the public launch was excellent! The house is absolutely stunning and huge! There was plenty of room for all of us and we enjoyed the pool table, access to the dock and large community areas. The views are spectacular! Would definitely stay again.
One thing to note, there are zero toiletries in the house which was a little odd for a house of this cost and standards. Just make sure to bring your own.
