Excellent b&b in Auckland suburbs

Friendly couple (not much English), hosting in their clean and tidy house. Very convenient for airport (15 mins, or 45 mins in rush hour). Nice Italian restaurant in walking distance.

Highly recommended

Great location. Wonderful host. One thing I liked about this the most was that it was so quite. I had long flight from America I woke up in the morning feeling fresh. Highly recommended.

There was no tooth paste.

Clean, ok for 1 night

Clean and very quiet

No sign outside property, long drive. Wasnt sure we were in right place. When host answered door, did not speak any English and didnt seem to know we were coming. Host did not check who we were.

Prima, aber 'sprachlos'

Ruhige Lage, direkt am Park, aber trotzdem ein Restaurant in der Nähe.

Kommunikation schwierig da die Vermieter kein Englisch oder Deutsch sprechen. Google-Translator hat geholfen, es blieb aber schwierig. Hätten uns gern mehr mit dem älteren Pärchen unterhalten, denn beide schienen recht nett zu sein. Leider keine Klingel an der Tür, was das Einchecken auch etwas problematisch gestaltete.

Would definitely stay again

Tidy, quiet, value for money, very close to where I needed to go.

Elderly couple were lovely, unfortunately they spoke very little English, made it a bit hard to talk to them. My room didn’t have a mirror.

Comfortable and clean, with close proximity to Totara Park. Hosts were polite and eager to please.

It was very comfortable with pleasant hosts and handy to many places I wanted to go.

Friendly, obliging hosts, good location.

Perhaps more variety for breakfast, more types of cereal and some fruit.

Superb

Owners friendly but shy. Probably due to their limited English. Owner's son, articulate, helpful and very welcoming. During my personal crisis, he even drove me to the hospital when I couldn't get a taxi. His kindness and sympathy was outstanding. Simple but perfectly adequate room. Separate bathroom. I would not hesitate to recommend this b&b to others who appreciate something other than generic, mainstream accommodation.

Breakfast could be improved. Proper coffee not just instant, better bread perhaps.

One night in The Gardens

The house was extremely clean and tidy with a host who was pleasant and congenial. It is in a very quiet location on the edge of a large park. Its perfect for short stays, one or two nights.

There was nothing I didn't like. I think the hosts have done a good job setting the house up as a B&B. There is a shared bathroom, so you have to be considerate to other guests. That's the nature of B&B.

Room: Beautiful and very well kept. Breakfast: Basic but adequate and no limits. Location: on edge of park and near to Botanic gardens.

Breakfast selection was limited. Host great but parents had very little English so communications not easy if host not around.

Wonderful hosts

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was good.

I felt the bed could be improved. The access to the motorway was not easy because of traffic congestion.

If you like a quiet place and feel like home setting this is your best choice. The host is super friendly.

Very clean and the park just behind the property. Large balcony to enjoy the scenery.

Not too many stores around but Uber is always within 5 minutes wait time.
