What a little gem in Wilsons Promontory with such incredible hosts

This property is such a little gem. What it makes it so amazing are its super friendly and hospitable hosts Karen & Marty. From start you feel like family. We received great advices for things to do.

We didn't want to leave!

We stayed for two nights over a very special weekend for us and what made it even extra special was the hospitality provided from Karen and Marty. Their hospitality, friendliness and quality of everything is above standard. Their property is exceptional and we left with fond memories. We can't wait to be back. Thank you so much for having us.

Great place to reach the Wilsons Prom

We had a great stay at the Olivi. Karen and Marty made us feel very welcome. We highly recommend the Olivi and would definitely book it again. Thanks a lot Karen and Marty for your great hospitality.

Superb location! Yummylicious food! Friendly and warm hosts! :)

The owners and hosts Karen and Marty were welcoming, warm and friendly. The property is set off the road and has lovely views of their open garden and beying to the sea. The place is filled with goats, chickens, 2 alpacas and their lovely dog. The seaview room was very comfortable and had a place right outside the room where we were able to sit and enjoy the peace and views. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean and had lots of hot water in the shower. Marty went out of his way to let me use his tablet to link it to the telly so I could watch the tennis at the Australian Open when the connection was fluctuating as a result of the extremely strong wind which affected the signal. The dinner that is an extra cost, if guests wished to dine in was positively delicious and we had 3 dinners, all varied and healthy. The pre-dinner canapes were scrumptious and varied. Karen and Marty make mostly eerything themselves and it was obvious from the taste. Karen catered extremely well to our dietary restrictions and requirements. The breakfast of fluffy omelette or fluffy scrambled eggs we had for 4 mornings was heavenly. We have not had better. 5 stars and many more. We also enjoyed home made elderflower gin as well as home made rum. All divine. We will definitely return to stay with them if we visit Wilsons Promontory again. Marty and Karen also gave us lots of ideas of walks as well as suggestions for things to do and places to visit when we had inclment weather.

There was really nothing except a personal quibble. We would have liked a king size bed and a little more space in the bathroom for our toiletries.

Nice B&B in a farm-like environment with great hosts

Great place to be. Very comfortable and quite. Hosts Karen and Marty were very kind and helpful. They booked us on a very interesting boat tour and helped us to explore Wilson´s Prom. The breakfast was delicious.

A lovely stay and I will hopefully be back again!

Pretty much everything about the stay was perfect, from the comfort of the bed to the wonderful breakfasts and the lovely setting of the property. Karen and Marty were very friendly and approachable and I enjoyed having a chat with them over breakfast and dinner. The animals on the property were fun too, especially the goats, sheep and Martha the dog.

I only have a very minor suggestion - a body wash in the bathroom would have been great. I packed my own soap so it wasn't an issue for me but my partner noticed there was only body lotion in the shower, not soap or wash.

One of the best B&B’s we’ve ever stayed in

The room was stylish, the house was beautiful, as was the food. Karen and Marty were excellent hosts and the goats were very entertaining! It was a great find.

Excellent good value B & B

Breakfasts are delicious, eggs from their free range hens, who have the run of the garden and land, Fruit is homegrown, yogurt and bread homemade. We also opted for the evening meal which again was delicious. Made to feel very welcome, Room warm and comfy, Excellent huge shower We even got a full house on the Wildlife spotting on the Prom ! Couldn’t fault anything.

The hosts were

The property was beautifully maintained and had a range of farm animals. They were the best site to see during our walk around the property. It’s also very close to the beach and the views are absolutely stunning! The hosts had everything well equiped in the rooms. The breakfast was the best part, prepared by the lovely hosts. They kept our dietary requirements in mind and made us the best breakfast we could have asked for. The property is highly recommended for couples who want a quiet getaway into the countryside of Wilson’s prom.

We would highly recommend staying here as a base for exploring Wilson’s Promontory

The friendliness of the owners, Marty and Karen. The helpful advice from the owners in regards to what to see, especially for us when the wind was strong and we wanted to hike to a good viewpoint. Marty advised which area would be most protected from the wind, and so walking up to Mt Bishop first and then back down along the Lilli Pilli Gully track was good advice. The pre booked dinner was so delicious, and the evening was very entertaining as we dined with the owners and other two guests. The room and bed were very comfortable, and walking with Marty to feed the animals on one morning of our 2 night stay was delightful. It’s a beautiful property.

Heaven on earth, we recommend!!

The welcoming feeling, the beauty and cleanliness of the whole property. Karen and Marty were so friendly, warm and helpful, our room was large, clean and well equipped, the breakfast we had every morning was an experience! Done with home grown ingredients and served with love, it was the best way to start our day. Brings to life the sentence that “God is in the small things”. Thank you Karen and Marty, you’ve made our stay very special and perfect, we’ll be back 😃.

Best bed & breakfast in Australia!

Karen & Marty were amazing hosts. They went out of their way to make you feel at home. They seemed to enjoy each guest and wanted to make sure you enjoyed your stay and trips around the area that you visited. Breakfast was great. Room had every amenity and a phenomenal view of the ocean. I can’t say enough positive about this place.

Stunning property, spectacular views and incredible hosts

The location is spectacular both as a picturesque property with a beautiful view out to the ocean and as a gateway to Wilson's Promontory. We were surrounded by gorgeous animals and a beautiful garden and enjoyed watching the most stunning sunrise from our bed through the glass doors/windows of our room. Hosts, Karen and Marty, were so incredibly welcoming and generous with their time, space and delicious produce. They shared advice about the local area, places of interest to visit and the details of how they produce food on their small farm. Breakfast was warm, personable and delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to join them and other guests for dinner as well.

Great rural setting with amazing sunrise over Corner Inlet. Fantastic personal service from owners Karen and Marty. Great breakfast using home grown produce - especially Marty’s scrambled eggs. Wonderful local knowledge with many suggestions from sightseeing to dining.

Everything! the home-like atmosphere, thoughtfulness hots, the beautiful garden, the spectacular view around the property and all the lovely animals in the farm! we really appreciate our hosts Karen and Marty offering their place to the public! The breakfast was amazing! Almost all ingredients were from their farm. That’s why we’re kind of regretting that we didn’t have dinner with them. We will be back to stay there for sure.

Nothing. if there’s one, it might be a thing for someone as they’re limited choices for dinner (but there are quite a few nice restaurants in neighbouring towns for 20-30mins drive oneway) however, the hosts do offer options of dinner for guests which is a must try!

Excellent breakfast, a real treat. The owners hobby farm presents a very interesting variety of animals. Special tip - if offered dinner during you stay - jump at the opportunity!
