Exceptional

Apartment 305 is right next to a great sea view and the pool. Great location to get to the harbour and the town as well. Host responded to questions in a timely way.

Good

Fabulous views of cliffs, marina, and beach from the lovely balcony. The block is definitely one of the best places to stay in Los Gigantes due to its locality and views.

The host swapped the apartment at the last minute, apparently due to problems with the apartment and noise from building work at the neighbours' apartment. Going by photos of the apartment we should have stayed in, ours looked smaller and not quite as good. There is also quite a steep walk to the apartment block.

A real Gem of an apartment- a home from home

Exceptional

First off – the view is amazing, it's even better than on the photos. And this alone is a good enough reason to choose this place. But not the only one: - The terrace is spacious, you can sunbathe or have dinner there. - The pool is clean and we never saw a lot of people there, very convenient. - A great black sand beach with magnificent views is 15 mins walking down the road. - The WiFi quality was great, and there are two tables where you can set up remote workplaces for two people. - The host, Jesús, was friendly and always accessible via WhatsApp. - Parking – there's plenty of parking spots on the street, and more often than not we were able to park right in front of the entrance.

There were a few minor issues, really not important: - The place was initially not very clean, but the host resolved it quickly. - The dishwasher and the oven were broken (the oven did turn on, but there was no heat). Luckily, there was also a microwave. I hope these have been fixed since our stay :)

Amazing sunsets on the terrace

Great location, 10 minute walk to the Los Gigantes beach. Parking right in front of the building. Amazing big terrace.

Facilities are a little dated. No air conditioning.

Superb

The terrace and the view were just perfect. The room had everything we needed and even more. Los Gigantes is a nice small place, and the apartment is in the quiet corner of it, ideal for a family location. At the same time, it is close to the center, where you can find plenty of restaurants, pharmacy and some supermarkets. Bigger supermarkets are also in the walking range, if you need something more like diapers or baby food (20 minutes to Lidl). 15 minutes walk with a 2-year old child to the nearest beach, 20 minutes to the natural pools of Puerto Santiago - we liked them more than the beach. Some fitness walking uphill on the way back, but it was completely fine for us.

Small things: a lamp in the bedroom didn't work, the bathroom door skewed a bit and didn't open to full width. My wife had some complaints about shower not being good enough to properly wash her long hair. For those staying with small children: there is a shaky bookcase and a big mirror, both not attached to the wall. We had to hide the mirror and prop up the bookcase so that our curious son doesn't get crushed by it. Also, there are few steps of stone down to the terrace.
