Fabulous

Location was great, 5 minutes walk or less from markets, restaurants, marina and shops. Spotlessly clean, lovely to have breakfast items provided too with teas and coffee. We had a great stay. Thank you.

Liked everything. a hanging rail and bedside drawers and mirrors in both bedrooms would be great as only a small wardrobe in double room. This would make it perfect! Oh and a cheese grater!

We would definitely recommend this property. Overall, excellent experience.

The location was perfect for a central Olhao celebration. The fact that we had breakfast on arrival, and tea and coffee facilities was a real bonus. Manuela, the host could not have been more helpful.

The only drawback for us was the lack of a second key. We were two couples who needed to be back at the property at different times. This was a bit of an issue on 1 of our nights.

Old Town Olhao

Met by owner's sister who was very pleasant and allowed us access much earlier than the 4pm stated. The apartment was lovely. Great A.C. in three rooms as weather hot. Very clean. Breakfast food provided, bottled water, milk.

No outdoor area for sitting out apart from roof top - three floors up and far too hot with no shade. Lack of local information ie emergency numbers, taxis, church services, supermarkets etc. No washing machine. Had a microwave 'oven'

Nice host and nice house in a convenient position

Heated towel rail in the bathroom, all heating very good. Manuela left us lots of food in the fridge to get us started.

Didn't like being on the ground with windows that open directly on the street. Very noisy street. No sharp knives. Quirky coffee maker, but brought our own cafetiere

it’s on a historic side of town with narrow streets that go every which way so very charming to walk, very close to restaurants and plaza

it does not have parking. so you have to park in the street and usually very far.

excellent accommodation but I would not visit Olhao in March again.

the location was ideal. In the old town and a few minutes from the sea and the markets.

It is very well equipped but we had a week of very poor weather and so we had to use the heaters a lot. This meant the floors and the bathroom were chilly. This is not the fault of the host.

Very good

Renovated and cozy apartment in old downtown Olhão. There's an patio at top of building which is nice to sit on at end of the day. Very friendly staff.

Superb

A fabulous little apartment in the old part of the village. The hostess was totally charming and let us arrive early and leave later. She gave us helpful information about the ferries and recommended some good restaurants. She also left a wide variety of breakfast choices (fruit, bread, brioche, jams, cheese, ham, coffee etc) which we had on the roof terrace, which has a table and chairs. The apartment was totally refurbished with new furniture and floors. There were also two great fans that saved us from the August heat. It’s a 10 minute stroll away from the harbour through charming small streets with cafes, restaurants and little shops. The ferry to the islands was fabulous and the islands themselves were amazing with white sand. We were sad to leave and are definitely going back again next year.
