Location was great for sightseeing without needing to drive too far. Seaside, forests, waterfalls. The cottage was cute, quiet & stocked with so many little extras that if you forgot something, chance is, you'd find it there complimentary ✨ we forgot rice & voilà, rice in the cupboard. Would recommend to family & friends 😊
Bed for us was too hard, the host is so amazing that we felt comfortable to let her know, she advises this is being changed, so we will return to test.

Loved the self-catering accommodation which had all the kitchen facilities we needed. Loved the giant bed - very comfy. Loved the breakfast ingredients provided especially the home-made muesli. Loved way Diane was so friendly and helpful.
Nothing really except perhaps that the pull up table and the odd-bod chairs that were not that comfortable. We had to juggle things around on the smallish table when eating breakfast and dinner

I liked everything.

Warm and cozy, lots of thought and consideration gone into the provisions and welcoming for guests, feels like a home away from home and really nice decor.
It was very lovely to be greeted by milk, fruit, and some other food, ready to start my trip refreshed and relaxed.
While compact, it feels like there is enough room, and the bed is especially roomy. I came in winter, and the heating gets up and running quickly, as does the hot water, so it was nice and warm in no time.
Excellent communication from the host, who is unfailingly kind and attentive. Would recommend, and looking forward to coming back.

Diane the host provided muesli cereal bread and milk and some biscuits which was really lovely. Diane was really lovely friendly and helpful. The cottage was very homely and spotlessly clean, added toiletries for us to use was an added bonus so thank you. Also my husband had back ache so was delighted to find some ibuprofen in the cupboard. Thank you Diane x
A bigger TV would have been good, as we were out all day visiting north wales and back to the cottage in the evening to enjoy a bottle of wine and some TV.

Huge super-comfy bed. Variety of breakfast items is great. Bath robes to walk through to shower room...we did not use them but if you had another sleeping on bed-settee they'd be handy. DVDs...I rise in morning before my partner so having something to watch was was quite good. Used sun terrace one day and host laid out cushions on patio furniture and sun brolly (+ wifi works out there too). Wee arrival gifts of strawberries and biscuits too were appreciated. Parking, off-street, right at door (safe).
Nothing to be unhappy about really...it has all a couple would need for a quiet break...really best for a couple space-wise.

Everything. Location. Cleanliness. Near the beach and the main high street/retail park.
Everything was excellent. Canterbury Cottage is quite well equipped and more than adequate for 2 persons on a long weekend away. Diane, the proprietor, was very welcoming and couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect. We really want to go back this summer and hope we can.
I recommend this accommodation.

The cottage was very clean and well equipped and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. The cottage is also walking distance to the beach and town.
The cottage was lovely but small and there was no real storage place for clothes. There was also very little work top space to make a meal. The garden was a shared space with the cottage owner and
I did not like the lack of a private garden to sit in.

Diane was heaven. She was warm and welcoming, knew so very much about the area and recommended a few visits / eateries, and even baked bread which was delish. Dirk & I wished the weather would have allowed us to sit longer on the sunny patio of an evening and sip a wine (or 2) - but that was not to be. Our accommodation was a unique delight - Diane seemed to have thought of everything from Marmite to a sewing kit! We can honestly give this venue our full recommendation.
Diane did not provide us with uninterrupted hot and sunny weather. Must try harder.

We spent 2 nights at Canterbury Cottage. Diane, the host made sure we had everything we needed and more. She left us fresh bread and milk, home made muesli which was so delicious, biscuits, tea, coffee...etc. The cottage itself is very beautiful and homely. We couldn’t have asked for more.
