Perfect stay

Location was perfect...away from the busy 'downtown', very quiet and peaceful, although we could walk to the stores if we needed to but chose to take a taxi for $12, Rose Farm is right next to the Atlantic Inn, great menu. We went to Spring House right next door for our anniversary dinner. We overlooked the ocean and had an incredible meal on the deck. Next to the Spring House is The Barn, very quaint where we went for drinks. Rose Farm is wonderful, we asked for a room w/jacuzzi, the back door opened onto porch w. chairs for morning coffe overlooking a large field. complimentary breakfast w. china cups PERFECT! Definitely staying there again when we go back. Highly recommend this for stay.

Spectacular get away!!

The grounds were just beautiful! The room was clean and spacious. The receptionist/owners were so friendly and accommodating. I am gluten free and was able to find enough to eat at the continental breakfast!

All wonderful , lovely, very clean and staff very friendly and accommodating!

Lovely room , fresh flowers on all the tables and nice variety of breakfast foods . Good coffee !

Bathrooms could use updating . Prefer walk in shower . No need for old jetted tub to step over . White tile and fixtures would be more in keeping . Better lighting . However , every thing worked well and was very clean!

The property is beyond beautiful. Staff is very attentive, breakfast is nice selection of fruits breads and cereals. Close to beaches and downtown.

Shower head fell off and found mildew on curtains. Other than that. Really nice.

Superb

Breakfast was great; the staff was very accommodating and helpful; the porches were very enjoyable - the views were beautiful; walking along Pebbly Beach at low tide was an enjoyable mini adventure; proximity to the restaurants at the Spring House and Atlantic Inn was very convenient; the walk to Old Harbor was short and quite manageable (we are in our 60s). PS - no mosquitos in the evening (in Sept)!

We are early risers and would have appreciated coffee being available (at 6am) before breakfast is served - though I do note, at our request, the staff did set out coffee early for us on a couple of the mornings of our stay. The internet service was poor, virtually unusable (in both buildings).

A quiet and peaceful place where I will stay again and again.

The property where hotel is located is gorgeous. Acres of open fields, and nice ocean view (from my room). The location, just out of town, helped ensure a rustic and quiet stay. The manager of the property, Diana, was outstanding.

There was a notable amount of noise from neighboring rooms. Walls seemed thin. Bathroom fans in all the rooms were extremely noisy. The breakfast options were limited (continental only).

A lovely retreat from the real world.

The breakfast was lovely, just perfect for a quick bite and pretty room with a nice view. The location was excellent, as we could walk to town. I enjoyed meeting the very polite and nice staff who worked there, including some of the other guests in the morning at breakfast. We stayed a full week, so we used the washer and dryer, which were easy to use and clean. It was also clean and organized. I really loved our stay.

The only problem ever encountered was that the bathroom, which we shared with our daughters, was open to the hallway. It seemed some of the other guests might have used the bathroom, despite a sign on the door telling them not to do so. There was not a way to lock the bathroom door from the outside, or we would have done so. This was not a big issue, but I wondered if the hotel might find a way to lock the door to prevent this from happening. I did not mention this to the hotel, as I don't think we even thought much about it, but here I am, since I have some time to do so and it might be worth noting for any future guest staying who would be bothered by it. This happened maybe twice.

Property was exactly what you expect. Rooms were clean. Staff was great. 5 stars on the bathroom exhaust fans. That little buddy was so strong. It would suck the bathroom door closed. Impressive feature I won't soon forget.

Breakfast is bare minimum, and in an awkward space that's tough to maneuver around others to get you prewrapped pastries, hard-boiled egg, and yogurt from the mini fridge. Awkwardness of it made me wish we had skipped breakfast.

nice deck, porch, and surrounding property, good AC, bed comfortable, nice they had free laundry machine, bike rental right there, complimentary beach towels, breakfast. it was nice

room was small, ocean view misleading, bathroom small, tight, no shelf space, WiFi did not work so we could not watch Netflix movies at night, no microwave

We absolutely loved Rose farm Inn. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, the rooms are clean and quiet. The staff was amazing. I cant wait for my next stay.

Beautiful huge property. Rooms are lovely, comfortable and clean. The views are awesome and place is very quiet and relaxing. Staff was wonderful. Especially the manager. She was so sweet and accommodating.

We had a quick last minute vacation to Block Island. This Inn fit our need perfectly!

This was a very quiet location. A great place to relax and read at! The other guests and the staff were very friendly. It was also only .5 miles from Old Harbor so you don't need a car to stay here. We liked how easy it was to walk back and forth from town. The days were hot, so A/C in the rooms was amazing!

The bathrooms could use an update. The shower heads were low.
