Traumhafte Lage, inspirierende Einrichtung, aufmerksame Gastgeber, einfach himmlisch! Wir lieben auch das melodische Glockengeläut- ein einzigartiger Ort!

We booked the room expecting an apartment but it is actually a room on the second floor. However, the cafe downstairs was closed and there were no other guests so we had the whole building to ourselves which made for a unique experience!
The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Although the building has old antiques and decor, the room was very modern. We had the entire cafe kitchen at our disposal and it was fun making meals there.
If you are a light sleeper you may have issues with the church bells, but it was not an issue for us as you get used to it!

We liked the location in a very small village. The building itself is a baroque former rectory (Pfarrhaus) and its very nicely refurbished inside and outside into a former glory...but the house keeps its historical soul.. ..The house includes a coffee shop (opened weekends) together with possibility to get some vintage "things"and a one room museum about the local famous parson (Pfarrer). Its very cosy and trendy inside on the other hand. We loved it.
I am aftaid but i have to mention it. If you are sensitive or stressed and have troubles with sleeping, it is very annoying to listen to the bells from the church located next door. The bell runs through the night every 15 mins. So i recommend to bring ear plugs :) because the place is worth to stay in.

The location was very nice. The room is in a old rectory just by the church. This historical building is well reconstructed. There was a nice walk to the nature around.
All the nigth were ringing church bells. However, for one night it was not problem.

A unique experience. We booked this thinking it was a self contained apartment but it is a cafe/museum that is only used as such at the weekend. You therefore use the cooking and dining facilities of the cafe. Host was very helpful in coming up to explain this to us as we weren’t sure we were in the right place!
Had everything we needed.
Would only be suitable for an overnight stay, don’t think you could fully relax with it being a cafe.

Very nice place, with funny, sweet decoration in a lovely german village.

It was fantastic - we were the only people to stay in the house, which is a museum and a cafe. I got to cook dinner at a restaurant kitchen! The host was lovely and helpful, plenty of room/ Delicopus alcohol-free beer)
It was rather dusty with all the antique furniture and dolls and statues and linens. The room itself was clean but it was kind of like spending a night at a museum - the jesuses, crosses, madonnas and popes are everywhere

The hotel is a historical place and it has a history.. Looks and feels very warm. The garden is amazing and the people are very friendly and welcoming.. The nature around the house is amazing and romantic I enjoyed every day in the house. Was the best choice for our honeymoon
Just because we don't have a car, it was difficult to reach other places during the stay but the family was super nice to us and they drove to the city.. Otherwise everything was great
