About this house rental

Eleanor is our beach house that is wonderful for old fashioned holidays. It is configured so that a second family could stay on the ground floor. There is a whale watching and star gazing roof terrace. Warrain beach is a 2 minute walk, and both Culburra Beach and Lake Woolomboola a 5 minutes walk.

There are two queen beds and 4 single beds and a day bed. Comfy couches and arm chairs, and out door settings on all 3 levels. Linen and towels extra $25 per bed includes making , unmaking and washing.

Modern facilities including smart tv, wifi and broadband, espresso machine, two bathrooms, modern dishwasher, oven, gas cook top, heating and hot water. It is well equipped for cooking, entertaining and holiday activities.

The garden is fully grassed for cricket, soccer and other summer sports. It is fully fenced and good for pets and children.

Culburra is a quiet and sleepy village that, thankfully, time has nearly forgotten.

Local activities include surfing, snorkelling, fishing, windsurfing, canoeing, sailing, golf, swimming, bush walking and cooking the wonderful local seafood and farm produce.

We have a travel cot: use according to instruction, under adult supervision, and entirely at your own risk . Please clean after use. See Photo.

We no longer have Netflix, trampoline, active beehive or dvd player. You can connect the tv using your own streaming services details.

This was a great property to stay at, the house catered well to our needs and it was an enjoyable stay. My family really enjoyed it at this property and location and all want to go back! Unique accommodation and great proximity to beach.

We were really happy with accommodation.The location was excellent and close to other family near by.The place had everything you could use for a short stay like ours,but for a larger group and for a longer time.

This house was perfect for our short stay. Close access to different beaches and ocean glimpses. It’s got a nice beach holiday atmosphere and a good layout. We would recommend this place, though the lounge furniture and some of the mattresses have seen better days.

Winter get away did not disappoint. Grandparents and parents thoroughly loved the place and little 3 year old boy was beside himself with the beach, roof access and the swing!

We really loved the house. It is furnished in an eclectic and interesting manner. Short walk to beach. We also visited other beaches in the area like Callala and Currarong. The mattress was a bit hard for us but that is personal taste. We would come again.

We enjoyed our stay at Eleanor, it was clean & very comfortable. The kitchen was very good and made it easy to make our meals in. The view from the balcony and sea breeze were a welcome relief from the hot weather.

This is a great house for a family, including fur baby, and we loved our stay here. We loved the loungeroom and balcony with views of the sea, plus the retro feel of the house. Plus the tv room downstairs for the kids was great so we could relax upstairs with our books. The kitchen is well set up and two bathrooms was a bonus. We highly recommend this holiday house and can’t wait until we can stay again.

We came for 4 nights during school holidays with two children and the dog. Eleanor was such a comfortable stay, all amenities covered. Excellent location, close to two gorgeously wild beaches and the lake. We were left imagining how fantastic it would be on a sunny day! The kids loved the secret roof top garden, sadly we only ducked up briefly between showers. The back garden with its swing was highly inviting and would be excellent for small kids to kick a ball around, but again the inclement weather limited our use. The garden is fenced but not enclosed so the dog still needed close supervision. Saw dolphins from the beach, enjoyed dinner at Culburra bowling club, oysters at Greenwell point and a dolphin cruise from Huskisson. I would recommend the Bay and Basin leisure centre in Vincentia if you’re stuck in wet weather with small children, it’s a brilliant kid-friendly pool with a flume slide. Communication with our host was excellent. Great value for money. Highly recommend a family holiday at Eleanor.

We enjoyed our stay here- house had everything we needed. Due to rain, we couldn’t use the driveway or yard as it was too muddy. Nice quick walk to the beach. There were a few spiders and other bugs inside.

I contacted Michael with very short notice (the night before !!!)and he kindly made his home available . I loved the character of the house ,it had everything you needed . I loved the architectural features of the dining room .(How do you keep all those louvres clean??!!!) Short walk to the beaches. Pet friendly too!! Thank you for an enjoyable stay .

We loved our stay at Eleanor! So spacious and light and even better in reality than on Stayz. Convenient location very close to 2 beaches. Kitchen so well equipped. Loved the quirky roof deck with views. Hope to return - next time for longer.

Eleanor is a beautiful, homely holiday house with everything you could wish for on a short holiday - or a long one. It has a distinctly personal feel and the furnishings make it feel like home. It is situated in the perfect spot a few moments walk from two beaches and the lake. Our dogs loved the long walks and swimming and were more than happy to make Eleanor home for the few days we were there... as was our 8 year old human child.
