Easy commute to any part of the island, condo was clean and it was a quiet environment. Would definitely stay there again!

My mother, sister, niece and myself stayed and had a wonderful time. The condo was on the older side but it was still very nice and clean. It had excellent views of the ocean and the mountains. We enjoyed our stay very much!

This condo was in a good location. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. The other room has two twin beds. Family members sleeping on those beds said they where hard as boards and they slept poorly the entire stay. I would recommend updating those beds for future guests. I would also recommend bringing and extortion cord with usb outlets. The condo had limited outlets and only one usb plug in one bedroom. The condo came with everything you would need for your stay. I would stay again. Mahalo

Lovely property, exactly as advertised. Gorgeous view of ocean and whales from balcony, we would have breakfast and watch them surface (some mothers and calves). Pool was clean, though a bit on the small side, and apartment was clean too. All amenities worked and there were no issues. Overall, a great place to stay, and very family-friendly + well located.

The Positive: The view from the patio was very nice we got to see whales in the distance. The use of beach and water accessories was a definite plus. The location of the condo made it easy to take a whale watching tour, or to go and sit on the beach located just down the road The kitchen was well stocked with eating and cooking utensils. The king bed was comfortable. It was nice that there were dressers in the bedrooms.
The not so great: Be aware that the second bedroom is angled not square, and the end of the one twin bed is very close to the wall making it difficult to get to the closet. Also, the second bedroom window needed repaired; the glass slats would not close tightly. While sitting on the patio was one of our favorite things to do; one of the neighbors smoked so a lot of the time the patio would smell.
The instructions for the TV remote do not match up with the two remotes at the condo. We couldn't get the TV to work.
The negative: The IGoMaui vacation rental was not user friendly. The entry code for the condo was not available until after 4 pm; this became a major problem for us as we couldn't access the internet and retrieve the code and there was no one to call until the next morning.
We had requested the twin beds to be pushed together; this was not done.

The condo needs to be stocked much better, there are no plastic bags and or wrap in kitchen. No laundry soap or cleaning supplies at all . We had to purchase more paper towels , toilet paper , kitchen wrap , cleaning supplies and laundry soap . I stay at many properties around the world and have never had to buy my own cleaning supplies . Especially after and during Covid .
I would put more into making your guests welcome :) other then that all was beautiful . Mahalo

My family (2 adults and 2 kids aged 12 and 14) stayed here over new year for 9 days and loved it! We also came with another family who stayed in another condo on the same floor. Every night we would watch the green sea turtles come in on the beach beside us and every morning we would wake up to the whales splashing.
Condo is well set up and comfortable, and the beach chairs and boards etc were awesome for days at all of the easily accessible (by car) beaches in Kihei, Lahaina and Kaanapali.
Yes there is plane noise but for us it wasn’t an issue. Also the winds in the afternoon were lovely and a great way to cool everything down. This condo and area is also a lovely haven away from all the busyness of the more touristy towns.
I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was a great experience. The condo was clean and it was stocked and ready with everything we needed.

No hassle and easy access to the condo. We usually stay in Ma’alaea since it’s near town, and we visit family. The trade winds were in full force as they usually are this time of year, and if you don’t mind it it’s fine. I’m used to it since I grew up here. Overall appreciate the use of the condo!!!

Great Location - Helpful Staff
Everything was great. The area is pretty windy so you can hear the wind whistle a bit through the windows when closed but having them open is amazing. We asked for a last minute late checkout and they were very helpful in allowing us to stay until 2PM. This was amazing since we had worked all week and hadn't had a chance to spend time by the ocean until the day of checkout.

Nice Central Location
The first time we walked into the condo, I noticed that there was no smell, which was a great first impression. It was clean, well-stocked, and served its purpose fabulously.
The views outside of this unit are phenomenal. You can see the ocean to the left and a mountain to the right.
Our book on Maui states that it may be the windiest place on the island as it gets a concentration of wind that has been squeezed between mountains (not due to windmills as one reviewer wrote).
We welcomed the breeze as it made laying out in the sun and walking the beach extremely easy to do and the sound of the blowing wind quickly lulled us to sleep after a fun day exploring.
We chose to stay in Maalaea due to its central location to Hana, Kula, and Lahaina plus we had a deep sea fishing trip one day and a snorkeling trip another day that departed from there. We also saw green sea turtles in our area—about twenty of them at the boat dock sea wall around 2:00pm and nightly on the beach to the left of our building.
The airplanes coming into Maui would fly over our unit and we enjoyed watching them come in.
The kitchen and bathrooms were great and the beds could have been worse. The management company brought a mattress topper for us to use on the king bed and that helped a lot.
The TV cable connection at the back of the TV could not be made tight enough for secure contact so that caused some frustration as turning on the tv was inconsistent.
There also is no beachfront at this property, however the pool is our first choice of relaxing outside. We are not sure if there are restrooms near the pool so we did have to run upstairs each time we had to use the facilities. The pool requires a key to get in as well as get out so be sure to take a phone with you in case someone in your party leaves you stranded.
We went to Kihei Beach one day and the umbrella and chairs were fabulous. Once the trade winds came in around 2:00, sand flew up on everyone and the beach cleared.
This was an end unit and was very quiet. We did not hear any noise from neighbors.
There were deer across the road near the fence line that we could see in the mornings and evenings.
It is a nice, short walk to the closest beach as well as to a few little shops, the general store, Hula Cookies, Ocean Aquarium, a couple of restaurants, as well as the boat tours.
A local told us that they stopped enforcing the paid parking and we did get a $35 ticket on one of our last days.

There are additional items needed in the description: 1) it is 7.8 miles from the end of the runway at Kahului- we were woken up by early flights both mornings. 2) it is located next to Maui’s wind farm. The wind was so strong we were woken up. The windows do not seal properly so you hear whistling from the wind. I reread the reviews and there were a couple other guests that said the same thing. This condo is on the 5th of 6 floors on the end of the building. We had friends in another part of the building that were not affected by the wind. 3) there was a strange smell - probably cigarettes.
Amy was professional and responsive.

Condo was fine; management company wasn't.
Dated condo but owners upgraded kitchen and bath cabinets and countertops. Size was fine for 4 adults. Not on beach but there was a small beach at the end of a drainage area where sea turtles liked to hang out. Management company non-responsive when we couldn't lock the condo door. We finally had to look on YouTube to figure it out--meanwhile we had timed, pre-paid tickets to the aquarium. I had to stay behind while we figured it out. Company didn't even call me back. Questionable whether all pillowcases were washed--they smelled. Condo was adequate but management company behaviour guarantees we won't stay there again.

Boys had their own beds/room & bathroom. Great location midway between sights to minimize time in the car. Gorgeous public, quiet beach next store. Condo is fully stocked with all the essentials plus bonus things like beach chairs, towels & umbrella. Next to the Aquarium which has a complex of shops, restaurants, etc. For the price point, location, and care put into the property - I would absolutely recommend staying here with older kids.

We had a phenomenal view from the lanai and were able to see some whales while drinking our coffee (also appreciate the binoculars in the unit). Having a dedicated parking spot was also great as you definitely need a car staying in this part of the island. We were able to travel throughout the island to different beaches as it was fairly centrally located. It was great to be able to take a snorkeling trip from a boat at the slips less than 0.5 miles away.
Beach access is a little bit of a walk to the main access but then you are able to walk to the east for miles (we went about 1.5-2 miles and then turned around a couple days).
Having the beach chairs, umbrella and cooler was absolutely great as we used them daily to try out new beaches!
We did not venture into the pool as we saw a couple in there one evening on our way to dinner (after dark) that may have been doing some adult activities...
My only suggestion for improvement is very minor and it would be to have the car forms available in the unit as there were none outside the site office and their hours are only M-F 9am-1pm so we had to plan one of our days to make sure we would be home during that time to get a form and turn it in.
I would highly recommend this place for staying in Maui, especially if you are looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle (and noise) of the more touristy areas!

Central location, excellent for adventuring
This property is located in a small strip of condo buildings on the central Maui coast due south of Kuhului. It's easy to get to, and easy to get anywhere from here. Lahaina is 25 minutes, Kihie is 15 minutes, large stores and the airport are 15 minutes. The local beach, within walking distance, is lovely and very popular. The view over the bay provides endless whale watching including many calves, breaches and other activity.
The unit was very nice, with ample beach gear included. The master bedroom is separated from the living room by a curtain-like partition, which provides visual privacy but little noise reduction. This could be a problem for families with activity in the living room while people are trying to sleep.
The complex does not have a swimmable beach, but the snorkeling is very good right from the property. The pool is decoratively shaped and the grills were mostly functional.
There can be a lot of wind at this location. There is a line of utility windmills on the adjacent ridge, and most days were very windy. This did not affect us as the lenai was sheltered from the wind.
Overall we had a wonderful time here and would recommend the property.

Maui Trip with My Folks
Location was wonderful, quiet, not as busy as Kihei or Lahaina, but centrally located. Condo fit us perfectly for me & husband, and my parents. Balcony lovely, but furniture could be better, chairs are low so hard to see over balcony, we put pillows on chairs. A/C not the greatest, especially for back room but fortunately it wasn’t terribly warm and there were 2 fans we used. Unfortunate that next condo over they were smoking cigars, which is against the rules, smell wafted all throughout our condo making mom feel ill. This is not normal though. All in all we would stay here again.

We just stayed 9 days in the Maui in Malaea Harbor. The condo is in an excellent location as it is away from the hotel zones, but you can access most of the major beaches and sites within 20 - 30 minutes.
The apartment was clean and the view is spectacular. We loved the pool and the convenience of having a built in kitchen. We shopped from the nearest Safeway for groceries which is about 15 minutes away, and there are snorkeling excursions right from the harbor and a great BBQ place within walking distance
The apartment is dated and can need some sprucing up. and a paint job. The one air conditioner and the fans aren’t enough to cool the entire apartment even though we were told they would be. A small portable A/C unit for a few hundred dollars would have made a world of difference for our stay.
The sliding doors and screens were blown off track because of the strong trade winds. This had us fussing with the sliding doors and screens which became frustrating and difficult to close and lock. Some WD 40 would and cleaning of the tracks would have solved that problem.
Overall we enjoyed our stay, but the points I mentioned kept me from giving a 5 star review.
