About this house rental
We were lucky enough to acquire this property after our daughter Lucy had admired it for many years, always saying that it was her favourite house in Mollymook. It is the perfect, original 1960s two bedroom fibro beach cottage. It sits high upon the street, facing due north, and within walking distance to beautiful Mollymook Beach & Golf Course. Lucy's House is WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE. Free wifi, Apple TV, Netflix, Stan.
The Space – Lucy’s House retains all of the proportions of the original 1960s beach cottage, complete with detailed cornices, floorboards, pretty timber windows, and recently added French doors, which open onto a spacious deck. The style of this beach cottage is reminiscent of a bygone era and is thoughtfully decorated with a mix of old and new. We have tried to incorporate some creature comforts such as French Flax bed linen and towels, original artworks, along with a sprinkling of objects from the 60s.
The new back deck opens onto a large back yard, which has been landscaped using huge sandstone blocks with a growing privacy screen of evergreen shrubs– opens out from the well-appointed kitchen – and is the perfect place to dine in summer and enjoy a cold beer. The front verandah is the original concrete water tank – and a lovely nook to toast yourself in during the winter months, with a glass of red.
The atmosphere we have sought to create is cosy, comfy, and a reflection of lazy summer seaside holidays of the past.
Our family loves this house, and we hope that you do too.
A portable ramp and shower chair are available to loan. Lucy's House is only accessible for people who use a manual wheelchair. Access is via the back deck and on/off the lawn/grass but we are hoping to have a pathway very soon.
The neighbourhood - Mollymook Beach sweeps for two kilometres between Bannister Point in the north and the southern headland where Mollymook Golf Club is located. Surfing, snorkelling, diving and dolphin-watching all make Mollymook Beach a special place to visit.
Getting around - You can walk to the beach, golf course, Golf Club, and into Ulladulla. There is a footpath that runs parallel to the ocean and 9 hole golf course. Also an easy walk into Ulladulla.

We had a wonderful time at the house. I have stayed in a lot of holiday homes over the years and this was my favourite. Both my boys opted to sleep in Vera the vintage caravan, they loved it! All the extra special touches were very much appreciated, the ice cold beers, delicious bread, fresh eggs and milk, gorgeous smelling soaps and lotions, and enough coffee pods to last the whole stay 👏👏. The outdoor shower was amazing! The location was so nice and quiet, I even relaxed enough to read one of the books. The beaches are beautiful and there is plenty to do around Mollymook, we fit a lot into four days but would love to come back soon.

Property is small and cozy, sparkly clean, tastefully decorated, equipped with everything we needed. Very close to beach. Nicky is a great host, super accommodating, considerate and thoughtful. There were fresh produce and wine to welcome us , and we even got a bonus night! Kids loved running around in the backyard for Easter egg hunt ! Thank you so much we had a great time !

Exactly what we needed!
Lucy's cute little retro beach shack welcomed us like a warm hug. With all the beautiful and thoughtful touches including welcoming treats like fresh local produce (all were wonderful) and even a bottle of sparkling wine!

Relaxing Week Away
My wife and i stayed for 3 nights. Unfortunately it was raining pretty much the entire time so we didn't get to use the beach as much as we would have liked. Nikki left us a range of items such as eggs, milk, fresh bread, locally made honey and jam and some other items as well as a bottle of sparkling!
All this went down a treat : )
Overall everything was as expected and we had a great time. The house was as presented and there were no surprises.
Nikki was very quick to respond to any queries we had through Stayz and assisted greatly with some recommendations of things to do etc.

Loved Life at Lucy's
This property was one of the best we have experienced in the holiday home short term rental market ( and we are avid travellers so have experienced many properties.)
The property was beautifully appointed with everything a discerning couple could want to enhance the stay.
Breakfast provisions including farm fresh eggs, beautiful local conserves, pod coffee, a great selection of teas, and fresh sour dough bread. It was so convenient to be able to enjoy this fabulous produce on the sunny verandah.
Everything about the property was perfect - it had a lovely feel - fresh, clean and comfortable in every way. Congratulations to Nicky and Grant on a great retro reno! Loved it!

Cute little place
Beautiful stay at Lucy's house! We were there for the weekend for the wedding and required an early check in and Nicky was very accommodating, an amazing host.
The house is located just a short 10 minute walk to the beach its a very clean quirky little beach shack.

Perfect
My wife and I recently spent 5 nights at Lucy's house. The house and all the arrangements more than exceeded our expectations. The house is beautifully presented and the facilities provided made for an easy an enjoyable stay. Dining at Bannisters was very good as were the bbq evenings spent on the rear deck. Mollymook is a great location for a holiday and we would love to return one day.

We loved our stay at Lucy’s House Mollymook! Nicky was an excellent host who you could tell wants to ensure her guests enjoy their stay- wonderful communication and nice extra touches upon arrival to make it feel special as soon as you arrived. The house was perfect for a young family of four- very well equipped to make your stay comfortable, it was beautifully decorated as per the photos, everything was in great condition and very clean. The house is in a nice street within walking distance to Mollymook beach. We would definitely stay again!

Mollymook beach house
We arrived at Nicky’s on the 28th of December to a lovely clean property that had a beautiful scent throughout the house. The kitchen was stocked with essentials and the beds were comfortable and had the most devine linen sheets. The location is very close to the beach so that was the first place we went. Our first few nights were so relaxing and lovely. Unfortunately for the community of Mollymook it was only a few days before the New Year’s Eve fires hit the surrounding towns and we lost power, phone reception and access to the highway. When it was possible to contact Nicky she was the most accommodating and considerate lady, letting me know to keep safe and she was there for us if we needed. Our holiday didn’t end up being as relaxing and enjoyable as I was hoping but I am very thankful we remained safe and got to spend time is my favourite childhood location. We will definitely return to Mollymook to support the town and surrounding areas as soon as we can.

Beautifully styled, exceptionally clean and a very helpful & Friendly host
Nicky made us feel very welcomed. She provided us with some lovely extras for our arrival including delicious fresh farm eggs, jam and honey and Easter eggs, a very thoughtful touch.
She was also very accommodating by providing us with numerous bikes. Nicky gave us an extensive list of wonderful places to eat in and around the area. Beds were very comfortable with beautiful linen sheets.and scented candles. Lovely towels, beach towels were also provided. It also had a great outdoor shower. The house was a good size for the family (4) with plenty of room in the garden for the children to run around, along with some outdoor sporting activities provided.
We hope to come back again.

Takes me back
This house relaxed me! The service was exceptional! The design gorgeous and simple... it just takes you back to a simpler way of holidaying! We loved it, and Nicky was so helpful. It was a fun weekend away for this 60's gal and her husband of 35 years... we swam and relaxed... and thanks to Nicky's advice we went to Cuppitt's winery at sunset for a glass of wine to toast our anniversary... dinner followed. Then back to the house within 10 minutes! All easy. Thank you so much Nicky, I can't wait to come back.

The property has been beautifully renovated with quality, modern appliances and other special touches such as 100% linen bedding, home-made cordial, jams and fresh bread and eggs, Bondi organic kitchen products and beautiful scented candles.
Great quiet location within walking distance of golf course and main beach. Easy 5-10 min drive to other beaches and surrounding towns.
Kids well catered for with bikes, totem tennis and a huge backyard perfect for cricket.
We loved our family time here and hope to return again.

A place with character and charm
Stayed the weekend with another couple and it was just the right size with everything we needed plus little extras supplied by the owner which was a lovely touch. The beds were comfy and the place was spotless. It is in a good location and the owners provided us with lots of info of places to visit. We would not hesitate to stay again in the lovely.

Mollymook is a lovely destination for a holiday. The cottage was clean, provided all the modern conveniences, and a comfortable bed. A little further away from the beach view I was hoping for but that provided an opportunity to spend more time investigating and walking around the whole area including walks from south to north Mollymook.
