Recently remodeled 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. 3 minute walk to beach. 1 King bedroom and 2 Queen bedrooms, one with an extra twin bed. Fully appointed kitchen. Flat screen TV and WiFi. Great outdoor space with barbecue, gas fire pit and comfortable furniture. New Washer and dryer in the garage. 3 bicycles, beach wagon, chairs, umbrellas and Boogie boards are available for your use. We are walking distance to The Mandalay Beach Resort and the Channel Islands Harbor where sport fishing, kayaking, boat rental and more are all available. Olivias Park and River Ridge golf courses are nearby. We are conveniently located 15 minutes from historic downtown Ventura. 20 minutes from the Camarillo Premium Outlets and a 30 minute drive from beautiful Santa Barbara.

Just down the street from THE best beach ever! Beach cottage 3/2 with everything you’d need or want including a fireplace, fire pit, indoor and outdoor entertaining spaces, fully-equipped kitchen, and beach gear with a giant red wagon to haul it all. Enjoy the serenity of Mandalay Beach!

We stayed for 5 nights to celebrate a family wedding. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all of the amenities . We spent our free time in the outside space, enjoying the fire pit in the evenings and walking along the beach when we had time. The house is very spacious and comfortable. It nicely accommodated our group . The neighborhood is quiet and very close to the beach and a nice park. We would definitely recommend this home.

The family beach house was perfect. We traveled in from Northern CA for my daughter's wedding in Camarillo and wanted to also enjoy the beautiful beaches of SoCal. The home was absolutely gorgeous. The next door neighbor, Jason, seen that we were trying to figure out how to turn on the fire pit and gladly came over to help us. Our first night there, the night sky was cloud free and the view of stars were stunning. Overall, it was a perfect compliment to a perfect wedding vacation.

Everything about the trip was great. The house was nice, close proximity to the ocean and the park. The neighborhood was very quiet. The house is a little bit on the older side but everything was done very well. They have everything you could need for a beach day we would go back.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Debbie's property. It was as advertised and a 5 minute walk to the beach. The house is situated in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood and had plenty of space. Debbie was very responsive as a host. The only downside was there was no soap or shampoo provided. There was barely enough handsoap provided either. Also, there were ants in the master bathroom. But these are small issues. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay and I would recommend this to a family seeking a quiet, relaxing getaway close to the beach.

We loved many things about this property. The patio shown in the pictures was a delightful place to relax and enjoy the sun. The neighborhood is really quiet at night which is great for sleeping. The place was super clean and the kitchen had everything we could want to make meals. The on-demand hot water heater meant no waiting between showers. The owners were very responsive whenever we needed something, so that was great. The reason the overall rating is 4 instead of 5 is that there is no comfortable place to sit in the house. The low back on the couch makes sitting very uncomfortable. The seat cushions on the armchairs seem deflated or missing so they aren't comfortable either. One of us found the bed way too soft and had trouble sleeping on it. More comfortable furniture would make this a wonderful place to stay.

We stayed at Debbie’s wonderful home for three nights over the new year holiday. The home is very spacious and well appointed to meet all of our needs. The kids enjoyed playing a variety of board games, the adults had books and TV! The kitchen had all the necessary items for us to cook! The home is located at a very quiet street and is near the beaches. We didn’t venture to the beaches due to the high surf as a result of the atmospheric river. Communication with the hosts was also very easy. Highly recommend this home.

Our communication with Debbie the owner was easy and effective before, during, and after our stay. The house was perfect for our stay with four adults and two teenagers, very roomy and comfortable. House is in a great neighborhood and close to the beach. After our stay one of our party was missing their keys and believed they left them at the house. I contacted Debbie and she made sure that the housekeepers searched for the keys. The keys were found and Debbie mailed them the same day and wouldn’t even let us reimburse her for the postage. We were very pleased with our stay here and our interactions with Debbie. Look forward to staying here again soon.

We stayed in Oxnard for a few nights to visit the Channel Islands. Unfortunately we had a lot of rainy weather but the location of the house was perfect for all of the activities we had planned. My young kids could walk to the beach and the playground nearby. The kitchen was nicely updated and everything was very clean. My husband wasn’t a fan of the very soft beds but it didn’t bother me. Overall I thought it was a good value for a 3 bedroom house and we would stay here again.

This is a lovely place to stay within walking distance of the beach. The neighborhood is well cared for and the people seemed friendly. We loved the bikes and boogie boards. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 to be comfortable.

This home way surpassed our expectations. It was so much more spacious and beautiful then the pictures could show, and literally a less then 5 minute walk to the beach. The host was amazing and so helpful and responsive. We were so over the moon with this rental, I couldn’t recommend it enough.

House is in a nice area, close to beach, comfy, and the beds were quite nice. Ants were a problem ( don’t leave food out, need to have it in sealed containers). Kitchen was good and decently stocked. The owner was quite good in answering questions, would stay there again.

We've been vacationing in this area for several years now and are so happy to have found this home. We loved the comfort of the house, the well-stocked kitchen (everything we needed to really cook and serve a meal), and appreciated the great and prompt communication with Debbie. Debbie’s home in Oxnard was the perfect location for our 3 day getaway. Really we couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The house was clean and had all amenities we needed. The front yard seating and fire pit was great in the evenings. The neighborhood felt safe and the location was just perfect being a short 3-4 min. walk to the uncrossed beach. We would love to come back (soon)!!

Positives: House was in a nice neighborhood with short walk to beach. All amenities were good especially the bikes. Negatives: toaster didnt work so well but fortunately they had a toaster oven in the pantry. Beds were super soft. Ended up taking memory foam topper off and that helped a little. Had a great time and weather was perfect.

Just a wonderful rental. Our older pup was so happy not to be left behind and we were as equally happy! Very pet friendly home and area in general! The home was filled with anything you would ever need!! Debbie the owner is very considerate and leaves no stone unturned!! The property was very clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood! Met some of the friendly neighbors! Just a short walk to the beach! Just perfect! We loved the property and area and hope to return!

We spent Christmas at this lovely beach house. Really quiet neighborhood, well appointed kitchen to make Christmas dinner. We had a lot of rain so had limited time to enjoy the cute outdoor patio and fire pit, but we sure enjoyed the fireplace inside the house. So close to the beach and some nice walking paths that travel along the beach at the Mandalay State Beach Park. Overall a wonderful property! Thank you Debbie
