Absolutely perfect place for 3 couples traveling through the area. Mt Rushmore, Crazyhorse and BlackHills all worth visiting. On out way to horseback pack trip in Cody and this was a perfect stop for 3 nights

Perfect setup and space for our family. Right amount of bathrooms and showers. Great location. We were able to check in early. Overall it was clean enough, except the floor. It has a grimy sticky film on it. Kitchen could use some better cooking pans. But despite those things I’d recommend this place.

Beautiful home where you will feel right at home. So close to amazing hiking and visiting Mount Rushmore. it was the perfect stay for our family of 6. The massage chairs came in handy after a long day of hiking! Thank you for helping us make some wonderful memories.

Perfect spot for our family of 6 with plenty of beds and bathrooms. Easy checkin process and very clean. Great location with easy access to all the tourist spots in the area.

House was centrally located, walkable to the town, and in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the massage chairs, star gazing, and the visitng deer.

Beautiful house with plenty of room and met our needs. Might need to spray for insects. One siter had a bug bite and a spider was found in another sisters shoe! Luckily no bit there! Overall great stay.

We had a great stay at this property. The location is excellent. The place was nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. We were a group of 8 (4 adults and 4 teens) and had plenty of room.
Check in was easy. And communication was great. They even went above and beyond to return a sweatshirt one of my kids left behind.

Great property centrally located in Black hills

Newer house, bedrooms roomy, smaller living area, but kitchen was nice. Not a good place to stay if you need extra parking as overnight street parking is not allowed and in a residential neighborhood with virtually all owner occupied homes.

This was our first time renting with evolve.
While this property is beautiful and the home itself is new and nice, we do not believe this home is worth the price.
Some key things to note if you are considering staying here: The cleaning group does not do a good job; all showers had black mold in them and dirty laundry was left behind.
We had to buy new pots and pans with our own money because the ones provided were so badly beat up we did not feel safe cooking with them. (We did not leave those pots and pans behind, so unsure if they've been replaced.)
Noise is an issue - the home has all hard flooring and a very open floor plan. Noise carries significantly, especially when you have an early riser working in the kitchen in the morning or kids playing inside.
There are no drapes in the bedrooms (there are very basic blinds), so we woke up with the sun every morning; not ideal if you want a place to rest and sleep in.
We communicated these issues when we arrived and received no apology and limited assistance with our needs.
This home can accommodate large families, but it is not comfortable, and the general impression is that little thought is given to guest comfort or basic provisions. We will not be staying here again or renting through evolve again.

Perfect for Family!
This beautiful home was located in a new neighborhood in Hill City. In the past we have stayed at and preferred more remote properties. This was conveniently located just minuted from grocery stores, restaurants and within 20 minutes of Custer, Keystone, Custer State Park and more. As for the home, it has four bedrooms, three full and one half bath. Two of the bedrooms have a private bath. The home was perfect for the 8 adults and two children in our extended family. The second floor dormer bedroom had a queen and two twin bedrooms for the family with children. All the beds had Casper foam mattresses. There is a large laundry area with counter we used to store our supplies. The baths were stocked with liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The two massage chairs in the loft were used daily!

This fantastic home is just minutes away from many of the Black Hills' main attractions. The house is beautiful, clean, and convenient - better than expected! We will definitely stay here anytime we visit the Black Hills again, and have recommended to many friends and family!

Great vacation!
House was so new it wasn't on Google maps. Very clean. Perfect for 6 adults. Very centrally located. We had a great time!

Great location
We had six adults and three kids, 11, 10, and 9. After an initial glitch as the house hadn't been cleaned after the last rental, things went great. The immediate response and resolution to the cleaning didn't affect the rest of our stay. We saw all the usual sights, did the horseback riding and four-wheelers. When we were back at the house, our kids rode their scooters and had water balloon fights. The evenings were perfect for sitting on the patio talking and watching the kids. The only thing that was a bit of a bother was how noisy it was. It's an open plan, beautiful wood floors throughout, but you hear everything and it made it harder to have conversations. I'd still give the house a five-star review, because it was well stocked and very nice.

Went great after a bit of a rough start
After connecting with our guest contact, we got access to the house about 4:30 pm. It was clear upon entry that the house hadn’t been cleaned after the last rental. The guest contact got a crew over to clean and joined in herself to speed things up. Somehow, the house got missed. I will be reimbursed for the cleaning fee.
After that, we had a wonderful time. The house worked perfectly for us, especially the four bathrooms! The only complaint we had was that the house was very loud. With six adults and three kids, lots of noises from each group. The kitchen had all the things we needed to put together meals.
We made some wonderful memories.

Wonderful place in a great location! Hill City is a beautiful little town. With wonderful amenities and great shopping! We would stay at this location here again!!!

Lovely house
Accommodated 10 as promised and comfortable beds as well. Addition of hot tub, grill, and patio furniture would have been appreciated for the rent price. A host fee of $244 plus service fee of
$216 added an incredible $460 on top of the per night fees! Happy with the house, not happy with the expensive total price.

Perfect stay for our escape to the Black Hills
We were so thankful for this centrally located home in the Black Hills. It was perfect for our family, as we were able to go out and explore many of the area attractions and still return for the little one's naptime and some rest and relaxation for the big kids. All the comfort and convenience of home with a fully stocked kitchen for preparing meals, spacious rooms, showers with good water pressure and plenty of hot water, access to washer and dryer, and a really lovely neighborhood for scenic walks! The extra large garage made it easy to load/unload when it was cold and snowy upon our arrival. Everything was super clean and we had everything we needed while we were there!

Exploring South Dakota
We had a great time exploring South Dakota! The house was in a perfect location. We enjoyed the Mickelson Trail. The set up of the house was perfect for our group of 7. Very clean. The only issue is the lack of kitchen towels. There was only one kitchen dish cloth and no kitchen towels, but we only had breakfast there as we were out most of the day. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Definitely would recommend!

Just like home!
What a wonderful place to stay! It seemed like home! This home has everything! It is so peaceful and quiet and the neighbors are so so nice! Outside you can see deer and geese up close! There is a great walking trail and you can see an old mine when you walk down the trail. If you have kids there is so much for them to enjoy with the wildlife and peacefulness! The location is so close to the sites you want to see like Mt Rushmore and Lake Sylvan! Lake Sylvan was amazing and I didn’t have any idea what a wonder it was! Deadwood is close! Amazing history there! Hill City has a fun downtown with lots of cool stores! Make sure you eat at Black Hills Burger & Bun in Custer! Amazing food! Everyplace we ate had good food! If you want a place to stay that feels like home yet provides a central location to see the sites this is it!!! It was a wonderful experience!

Home away from Home
My family of 8 stayed for 4 nights. It was perfect for us and the location worked out so well. We can't wait to come back! The home had everything we needed but a grill, and that was fine with us as we brought our own. It was a wonderful Home away from Home.

Coming Back!
Wonderful home away from home. Had all that 8 of us needed. We hope we are able to stay there again when we come back to the Beautiful Black Hills. (We did bring a grill along because there is not one there but that was fine with us)

Lovely place
Nice, clean, roomy home in a lovely neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and it was stocked with everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. The neighborhood had walking trails and a pond nearby. Close to town and so many other points of interest. We loved our stay here.

Great Stay
My family met up at this location from all over the country. We were all extremely pleased with how nice the house was and how much private space each of us got. The location is perfectly located to travel throughout the Black Hills to all of the must see destinations. I highly recommend this vacation rental and look forward to the next trip!

Nice home in Hill City
We enjoyed our visit and the close proximity to everything in the Black Hills made for a great stay. This home is in a neighborhood with lots of walking opportunities and friendly neighbors. The kitchen has just the basics. Wish there would have been a chair in the master bedroom. Also, no house number on the actual house; I would hope that would be added. Great garage!

Nice but
Beautiful house, wonderfully located, clean and convenient. However, the simple things were missing. No Kleenex. Missing any towels for downstairs master bedroom. One half roll of paper towels for 8 people for two days with expectations for guests to do all cleaning. And on that subject, asking guests to strip beds, collect towels, and start load of wash a bit over the top when paying $900 for a stay.

Excellent location
This was a great house in a very well-kept and friendly neighborhood. We enjoyed being close to many attractions and having part of the Mickelson trail to walk. Home was very clean and spacious.

Nice, clean place.
We had a nice experience staying at this rental. The entire process of reserving it was easy. This rental is very new; therefore, very clean. We could not connect to regular TV programming, but there was Netflix for those who wanted a movie. WiFi was accessible and easy to connect to. We did take dish towels, as we had read from another review that the kitchen lacked these. It seemed to have just the bare essentials compared to other rentals we have stayed at. The upstairs bedrooms had a bed and nothing else, but the one downstair’s bedroom was a little more furnished. The house sits on a corner in a community of other homes. Access to this residence was very easy from the main highway going through Hill City. We had a great time spending time with friends.

This was a fun weekend getaway with a few couples that get together every year. The house still had that new house smell. Not all of the rooms had places for you to put your suitcases or bags. That would have been helpful for some of our friends who had issues bending over. The kitchen was nice but don't plan on making it dirty. There were only two kitchen towels in the drawer. The house is located in a new neighborhood development. We had deer to view out our windows every day. We had a nice view of the hills and were within walking distance of the grocery store. The streets, while on the corner lot, were not very busy, so there was very minimal traffic.Overall the house was nice and clean but it was bare bones, there weren't a lot of extras (towels, pillows, dishware, utensils). We would go back again, but would come more prepared.

Girls Trip
Loved the location, easy to find but would have been nice to have house number on house. Problems getting into garage and house, batteries low, but property manager stayed on phone until we got in. Came out next day to change and brought new glass plates and bowls to replace plastic ones. Over all enjoyed our stay and appreciated the quick response to make our stay better!

The kids loved the house! They enjoyed playing hotel in different bedrooms. It was in a very convenient location and very comfortable. Close to Mickelson Trail and other activities. It was very clean and nice to sit outside on front porch in evenings. Pretty view of trees!

Family Vacation
Location is excellent. One minute drive to grocery store. Two minute drive to Main Street. House location excellent for Sylvan Lake, Pactola and Sheridan lakes, Mt Rushmore and Bear Country. Interior of house excellent. Would have been nice to have outdoor patio with table, chairs. Also would have been nice to have an outdoor grill as we made all our meals and ate at the house due to Covid. The weather was excellent for being outdoors. The washer/dryer is new and large and we used every day as we had grandkids. Overall, it was a very nice place. The outdoor space needs to be completed. Then it would be perfect.
