More like an AirBNB than a resort, but still lovely

Great location, outlook from the window, comfortable bed, good wifi connection, parking

Nobody there when we arrived, lack of attention to things (like no coffee there till we asked, no batteries in the A/C remote till we bought some, toilet seat not fixed on one side, hook coming off wall) but they did move us to a room where things worked and it was smooth from there

Chiamarlo Resort è un affronto all’intelligenza del viaggiatore. Al ns arrivo, nonostante la gentilezza di Reinaldo, abbiamo notato lo stato di degrado di tutta la struttura. Una volta in camera abbiamo notato che la pulizia era ben al di sotto della media. Dopo circa 5/6 giorni dal ns arrivo abbiamo iniziato a soffrire di un prurito intollerabile dovuto alla comparsa di vescicole pruriginose concentrate soprattutto alle gambe. Abbiamo pensato anche alle zanzare, ma il morso è decisamente diverso e poi abbiamo sempre usato il repellente. Siamo arrivati ad avere (tuttora che siamo di rientro in Italia) 30/40 vescicole per gamba. Davvero insostenibile. Abbiamo subito pensato alle cimici del letto.Non potendo ripartire per l’Italia ci siamo arrangiati e abbiamo preso i lettini da sole e li abbiamo utilizzati per dormire, ovviamente senza imbottitura, molto scomodi quindi. Adesso che siamo di rientro andremo dal ns medico e terremo Booking aggiornato sul decorso. Non basta una buona posizione per definire una struttura FAVOLOSA! Viaggiatori fate recensioni oneste e dite davvero come stanno le cose, altrimenti non serve a niente!

Bien mais vieillissant et aucune assistance lors de location..👎

La plage et le lieu calme et proche du centre pour rayonner dans l'île voiture obligatoire. Voir sur inst a : tof_caro_en_voyage

Le matériel vieillissant et le peu de contact et d'assistance du loueur... Pas d'intérêt pour le confort des locataires... Ne vous attendez pas à une assistance...

Un petit coin de paradis où un peu plus d’hospitalité serait bienvenue

Notre cabine était face à l’océan, on avait une très belle vue. En revanche, le resort est côté atlantique, donc très venteux. Le resort est à 10min de governor Harbor, super sympa pour manger et prendre un verre. Le resort est au milieu de nulle part donc vous aurez besoin d’une voiture (ou d’y rester pour bien déconnecter!) On pouvait utiliser des chaises pour la plage et on avait aussi des serviettes pour la plage qu’on pouvait changer pour des propres si besoin. La literie était très confortable. Il pas de cuisinière dans la cabine, mais dans le bâtiment principal. La Clim ne faisait pas de bruit, ça c’était top!

Malheureusement le resort manque d’être plus entretenu. Nous n’avons jamais vu personne travaillant au resort, ce qui enlevait tout côté humain, mais la communication via WhatsApp était très fluide. Notre cabine était très sale à notre arrivée. Des cheveux dans la sale de bain, de la poussière dans la pièce principale, assez inattendu pour ce type d’endroit. Samia, la manager, s’est proposée pour la nettoyer mais nous l’avions déjà fait. Le sèche-cheveux ne marchait pas. Attention, pas de stores occultants, donc debout dès 7h du mat!! Mais ici la vie se fait de jour. Le wifi était très lent et se déconnectait souvent. Attention aux sandflies dans la belle plage cocodimama

Great stay and we will be back!

It was as advertised. Very nice rooms and great views.

The main room air conditioning was set at 61 degrees and was freezing! Not sure why is was set so low, seems to be wasting a lot of energy.

Wake up surrounded by ocean views

The view from the room was incredible. Also they had decent beach equipment for us to use. We went snorkeling and had a blast.

great base to explore island or just enjoy the ocean

everything is exactly how is shown on booking: location is stunning and good starting point to explore north and south Eleuthera . compared to international chains is value for money

you will be alone 90% of the time, you will need a car even if not willing to move a lot . during windy days I would suggest to not swim in the “private” beach of the hotel

Best couples retreat ever.

It was the most spectacular getaway my husband and I have ever taken. It was secluded enough to give us alone time but close enough to restaurants and beaches to have some fun.

The laundry room was not open to visitors when we went. We ended up having to go to a local laundromat in town which was pleasant and convenient.

Amazing location and light bright accommodation

Didn't see any staff the whole time. Had to communicate by text (difficult on a UK phone). Waited over a day for extra bedding. Towels left in reception but not replenished frequently. Had to dry using face cloths on last day! Amazing location and accommodation. Spacious & bright. I would recommend as long as you don't expect any contact with hotel staff. I wanted to ask about trips etc but noone there the whole time (3 nights).

A stunning stay and a check on the bucket list!

The stay was perfect! The accommodation is equipped to a high standard and offers a breathtaking view of the sea. The self-sufficiency in the accommodation worked perfectly. The accommodation is in a quiet area. An absolute recommendation!

Heaven. Best location. Amazing views.

The views are amazing, location almost perfect, room was superb! One of the best places we’ve ever stayed.

There’s no staff, which is good. But a little bit more service would’ve made it perfect. it’s an amazing place anyway.

good option north of Governors Harbour

Beautiful setting by the beach, modern structure, fully furnished room (including kitchen stuff). Staff was nice and available for questions/tips. good location to easily get to Governors Harbour (10/15min drive)

Wiif very slow. AC very noisy. Blinds don’t fully make the room dark at night

If you’re into glampibg then maybe this place is good for you.

close to the ocean

NOT set up for family of four - zero privacy, no dining table, sofa in bedroom considered a “bed” was missing a foot, other bed was in the closet with a sliding partition. awkward set up.

Great Place To Stay, Water Sun Fun!

The location is breathtaking . We had an Incredible Anniversary! Samia is Amazing and makes sure you have everything you want! Alissa the owner is Awesome! This is our 2 rd time and we love it more each time !!! That is saying a lot because my wife is very particular.

Perfect

The place was perfect I can’t think of anywhere so picture perfect. I was a little worried about no pool, but the sea was so easy to access that I would have not used the pool. really enjoyed my stay. The staff could not have done more to make our stay more comfortable and we’re extremely helpful, while we were waiting for a rental car to arrive Samia drove us to a supermarket to get a few supplies she was wonderful. Would definitely come back

Incredible getaway in beautiful, clean cottages with friendly staff and great stargazing

Our stay in Mika's Resort was really nice. The whole staff is extremely friendly especially Ronaldo who helped us out with every question we had and gave us many tips where to go. The location is outside of any cities or villages but if you have a rental car I think it's a great location to explore the island. It's a ~1h drive to the north and a ~1h drive to the sout of the island. During the night there is so little light pollution that you can see the milky way and so many stars it's incredible. Small tip to the hotel location: Instead of having the light for the property on during the whole night make it an option to turn it off. This will make stargazing even more incredible. We didn't have any problems with sandflies in the room and it was very clean and the atmosphere was incredible with the big windows. Would defeinitely recommend for people that want a nice getaway and want to explore the island. If you just wanna lay at a pool this property is probably not for you.

Amazing

Mikas Resort is the most beautiful place we have ever stayed, it sits directly on a private beach and the pictures match the real life views. In addition the staff was very friendly and went over and beyond to accommodate us with whatever we needed. I highly recommend Mikas Resort.

There is very little to not like about Mikas Resort. The only downfall to the island itself is most restaurants near by are expensive due to the fact most of the food is imported. A typical lunch might be $20-$25 USD and cocktails around $14-$15 USD as of Jan 2022.

Peaceful place with friendly staff. Great getaway from busy life.

The seclusion, the proximity to the sea and being able to hear the waves. Being able to get peaceful sunrises on the beach. The responsiveness and support from the Staff, Samia and Reynaldo was excellent. Very prompt to reply and very helpful.

The common kitchen could have been better equipped (as it is essential to any stay) with more variety of cooking equipment for those that use the kitchen to cook ( provision of a blender for example would have been very helpful). We would have wished for regular cleaning including refresh of bed sheets. The Towels seemed to have a strange smell.

Relaxing

Love this place! We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay at Mika's Resort. The staff was amazing, very helpful and friendly. It is a great propriety with breathtaking views on Atlantic ocean and direct access to the beach. Modern, clean and spacious casitas with all you need for a stay, from beach towels to books. You can find two supermarkets and plenty restaurants close by (only a 7-11 min drive). I strongly recommend this place, it is fabulous ! What a wonderful setting where you can relax and enjoy natural beauty to the fullest.
