My family converged for our summer holiday at this beautiful home and we left refreshed, invigorated and in love with Martha’s Vineyard. The home had plenty of room for several young adults to have solitude to common areas for meeting for delicious meals on the screened porch or playing lawn games or board games. The private beach was lovely for quietude but we had easy access to explore the island. We have several artists among us and the setting was inspiring from the natural beauty to the family artwork.
The host and owner were extremely helpful about getting to the Vineyard and suggestions for restaurants and things to do besides the beach. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The washer and dryer came in handy.
The hammock got a lot of use as did the outdoor shower. We look forward to returning to this light filled aesthetically pleasing home.

We enjoyed our stay very much. My whole family of ten came together to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. The home was large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably. It had a well appointed kitchen, large table in a lovely screened in porch, and a large yard for kids and dogs to run around in. The beach was a short walk, but also had a small parking lot where my parents could drive to it. Everything was clean and comfortable. Would recommend!
*One note about the island is that the roads in the neighborhoods are unpaved and narrow! Follow your GPS and you'll be fine.

My husband and I recently returned from a lovely week vacation in your house. The location was perfect -- close enough to places for food and services, yet away from busy traffic, making it secluded and quiet. With the beach only a third of a mile walk along a graveled road, access was easy. We walked there with our dog several times each day. The accommodations were clean and very comfortable, with ample space and beds for our two adult daughters and their spouses. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cookware and dishes needed to prepare and eat home-cooked meals, allowing us plenty of time for sharing, socializing and enjoying each other's company.

What a discovery! This West Tisbury Vineyard retreat is pure magic – a short walk to a heavenly private beach on the Vineyard Sound. Words fall short of describing the mesmerizing views (and the SUNSET)!!! The home is tucked away, yet perfectly situated to explore all corners of the Vineyard, the house exudes timeless Vineyard charm, tailor-made for family/friends relaxation and fun.
Spanning three levels, sunlight pours through expansive windows, creating a warm ambiance. The adults spent hours reading and relaxing on the wrap around deck and the hammock and our children stepped away from the electronic devices to enjoy the spacious lawn (still brings me joy)! The screened in porch/dining area was a family’s favorite gathering spot, where we shared unforgettable moments.
I can’t forget the property manager, Annette, and the owner, Matthew! Their responsiveness and guidance from the time of booking until our departure was top-notch. They were willing to answer questions about the home, the area and guided me on ferry transfers (very important to book early). I made a little snafu with the keys (totally my fault) at the end of our stay and Matthew was so understanding and patient. They were awesome!
The home is conveniently located to the other areas of the island - just a short drive (or rideshare) away.
We’re already mapping out our return! This home truly is a slice of heaven on earth – don't miss out!

This is by no means suppose to be a , “beware” type post because being from MA, I know places like this and cape cod thrive on 3-4 month tourist seasons but proceed with caution. Communication, location and the exterior of this property is beautiful. Unfortunately, the interior was a wreck. The first thing is bugs, more specifically roaches. Owner and property manager knew there was an issue with roaches (they called them wood roaches, we have photos). We found sprays and traps for roaches inside the house and property manager did say they have an exterminator but there is clearly some infestation happening. By the 3rd day, the roaches were out in the open, in every room and instead of enjoying our last day together, we spent it checking and cleaning our personal belongings. About half of our party had roaches in our luggage and one family member found one in their stuff on the way home. Owner and PM were notified and apologies were given but it felt like an excuse was given at every step. Almost to the point of feeling like we had something to do with it. We were at the property during very muggy and hot days/nights and you could tell that the house suffered during these days/nights. Everything inside was damp and if we were sweating while sitting around, others had too. Mold in certain spots of the house (next to stairs) which we were told wasn’t there a week ago (impossible) and screens to windows and doors were either not the right size or had holes

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a beautiful family home, well outfitted, comfortable and super close to the beach. Matt was a great host. Very much recommend.

I absolutely loved this large old home and its location. We had people coming and going and even on the 3 nights we had 10 people and 2 dogs, there was plenty of space to gather together. Almost every night was spent either in playing a board game in the 3 season porch or the large living room. It was a bit warm during our stay but each room had at least 2 fans going so we kept the air moving. We also loved having 2 beaches to choose from. The neighborhood beach was great for our dogs, paddle boarding or short stays. Lambert's cove beach was BEAUTIFUL but took a bit more to get there as we only had one sticker so had to take multiple trips to get people back and forth - but it was worth it.

Lovely home with lots of comfortable outdoor space. Just a little of the grid, which was exactly what we were looking for.

Bedrooms not large in this older property but living room and dining area great.

The location was perfect, easy access to ferry’s and towns on the vineyard while also being quiet and private! House was clean and check in and out was super easy. The short walk to the private beach was our favorite part , our 2 dogs loved running around and we caught some beautiful sunsets.

This house and property are so graceful and homey. There is plenty of room in the generous sized living areas and a big deck too. The yard is meticulously cared for with various plantings and garden areas.

Property is really cute, and hosts are incredibly responsive. House was as pictured, with lots of space for everyone. We really enjoy falling to the nearby beaches, was a big highlight! No AC was tough on three of our seven nights, but there was a record heatwave at the time. The rest of the week it wasn’t an issue, in fact we got blankets out at night as it was chilly.

Beautiful property. Great swimming nearby. Owner nearby for any and all issues. Overall, great stay!

Matt's home was way more beautiful than the pictures showed! So peaceful, but close to so much on the island. Matt was very accessible by phone.I'm so thankful he shared his family home with myself, husband, son, daughter, and 2 year old grandson.

House is good for large groups/families and in a beautiful and convenient location. Lambert's Cove beach down the road is gorgeous, and it was easy to get to a lot of nearby towns/attractions. Communication with the property manager (before arrival) and owner (after arrival) was great -- both were very responsive and helpful. House is nicer than in looks in pictures! A few drawbacks/things to be aware of: (1) The mattresses are really old and most were not very comfortable . (2) The rooms do not have room darkening blinds, and some of the rooms have no blinds or curtains at all, so it's very bright at 5 AM. Bring an eyeshade! (3) The kitchen is not well equipped -- knives were extremely dull. Maybe not the best if you plan to do a lot of cooking. (4) The private beach referred to in the listing is blocked by a knocked down tree and an overgrown path full of poison ivy... much nicer to hop in the car and drive 5 minutes to Lambert's Cove.

3 generations celebrated birthdays in this comfortable, clean and charming house. We really appreciated having our 2 family Labrador retrievers included. Small beach to walk to, stunning beach a short drive away. Very quiet and private. Excellent communication with owner. Thanks to all who made this vacation possible.

We enjoyed the house and yard very much, the owner was very helpful when the refrigerator had some issues. We also enjoyed the small beach we could walk to and recommend this home for a great vacation.

Lovely, sunny summer home with lots of whimsy and character — from originals artwork to vintage artifacts throughout the house. The three porches — a spacious wraparound, second floor bedroom and screened in dining terrace — are wonderful. Beautiful garden with iron sculptures makes this an art lovers ideal place. Also 5 minutes drive from Lambert’s Cove beach. Owner was kind, accessible and helped us quickly troubleshoot an initial issue with the hot water.

Perfect getaway to enjoy family.
100% recommended!!

The whole house is attractively decorated and warm with no sense of clutter. The four main bedrooms are roomy and get lots of light, two have nice balconies. The location is more than half a mile down a dirt road, but we liked that because it gave us a sense of privacy and got us very close to the beach. The kitchen is a bit small but well-equipped.The screened in porch/dining area is fabulous. Cool breezes waft through in the evening - it feels like you are outside but no bugs! Being directly off the kitchen makes its location ideal. The local beach is just a six minute walk (literally) and it was never crowded. The owner Matt was helpful and responsive - he brought over two extra fans we requested the same day.The only shortfall (if it matters to you) is the flat-screen TV in the living room is quite small by current standards and not well located in the living room.All-in-all a great place!

The house was beautiful - spacious, light, full of art. I have been coming to the Vineyard regularly for 20 years, however this was the first time my family visited, and everyone had a terrific time. If there were any drawabacks, it was the weather had already turned and it was too cold to eat on the wonderful screened in porch. The beach was less than a 10 minute walk away. This was the first time I have used VRBO, and will be definitely be using it again. It was very easy, our point of contact was expedient and friendly. We are already thinking about booking the same property for next year.

Great house for a couple of families to get away and enjoy MV. We enjoyed the screened in porch and spend many hours there eating and drinking. One day we sat out there through the afternoon rainstorm and it was fun. Extra bedrooms provided an escape when kids needed extra space. Kitchen was equiped and 3 bathrooms provided room to spread out.

Place was exactly as I expected... so comfortable and just perfect for my family... We will cherish the memories we made there.

I rented this home with my family plus extended family (10 people total) for a week's vacation. It is a beautiful home and very comfortable with lots of indoor and outdoor living space. Great location in Martha's Vineyard. There is a short walk to a beautiful beach. It definitely was one of our best vacations and staying at this house was a major part of that.

This home is gorgeous. Large enough for multiple families with six bedrooms. Everything was in top condition with many areas to relax in. A five minute walk to a private beach was a great bonus.
