great living room, kitchen, dining rooom, and the pool was the highlight

This house was perfect for my family. It was a little outdated but everything works. People complain about the furniture being old but I thought it was great (broke in and comfy) location perfect quiet not to close to anyone else but super convenient to store, shops and boat rentals. Basketball hoop outside and ping pong table awesome along with pool. A couple bad things was not a lot of pans and baking dishes and knives are not good at all. Family and I definitely planning to return next year

For the competitive price to other STRs, the home has good bones but is in desperate need of updating:
1) Customer Service: The home was not clean and the white towels were stained. Several texts to Vacasa were either unanswered or we received "we're looking into the situation" and then went unanswered. The owners use a detached garage for storage for their working farm and restaurant as well as an apartment for the caretaker of the property. While they were pleasant and the caretaker was available during non-business hours for assistance, there was frequently workers on the property lending to a feeling of imposition.
2) Cleanliness: As mentioned above, the towels were stained/worn and needed to be taken out of circulation. There was mold in the bathroom showers. The furniture in the living room is VERY dated (70's? 80's?), stained, dirty and broken.
3) Kitchen: Could use larger pots/pans. For accommodating larger groups, there was only one large saute pan, one large pot/strainer, and few worn teflon frying pans. Bring your own knives as ones provided are not usable.
4) Pool & hot tub: clean and were great. Kids enjoyed it.
5) Bedding: Ok overall. Pillows were flat. Limited extra blankets. Dated decor. Sleeps 19? Quiet home for accommodating so many.
6) AC locked and set at 69 degrees. It was very cold at night. Owners refused to allow adjustment of temp.
7) Location & View: Great! Walkable to Manson. Great for fireworks.
For $1k+/night, recommend elsewhere.

We had a wonderful time with spectacular views. It was stocked with everything we needed and our only problem was not wanting to leave. We would love to return again. ☺️

I give the house 5 stars and the management company 1, so averaged to 3. If you have a large group, the house is ideal. There is a view of the lake from almost every room. The number of bathrooms, bedrooms, and beds were a great fit for our group. While the bathrooms are dated, the kitchen is perfect. Between the large dining table, buffet, kitchen island, and 2 ovens, there was plenty of room for all of us. The hot tub was clean and comfortable.
On the other hand, I will avoid Vacasa-managed homes in the future. We had no internet. So on our phones, we had to use our data plans, and the 2 TVs did not get streaming content or music. We contacted Vacasa, who tried to help remotely, but were kind of clueless. There was no guideline book or signs that gave any hint where to find the router that needed rebooting. After trial & error with other little boxes near the 2 TVs, we found it in a back bedroom. Vacasa informed us that someone local had been contacted to help with getting internet, but no one ever called or showed up.
Lastly, just a hint about driving to the address. If your GPS says to turn at Wapato Lake Rd, ignore it. Instead, turn at N Quetilquasoon Rd. It's much more direct.

This home was beautiful and perfect for a family get away! Lotsa beds, bathrooms and play areas to meet all the needs! Wished I could have stayed longer. Kitchen fully stocked with all cooking needs. Bathrooms stocked with Lotsa! The personal greeting from owner was welcoming and the fresh bouquet of flowers for my disabled daughters birthday celebration was nice too! Thank you for the hospitality!

Beautiful view. Ideal location to both Manson and Chelan. Great size for large families. One suggestion is to have hand rail leading to the pool.

The property is gorgeous and boasts breathtaking views, a pool, and a hot tub. The children had a blast in the pool while the adults relaxed in the hot tub. We all had an amazing vacation. However, I must mention that the property is old and the beds and comforters could use an update as they weren’t very comfortable and dated. Everything else was fantastic!

I would say that the overall stay was pleasant. We are happy we got to visit and stay in Manson, we would simple look for a different house next time. Here are the positives:
Private pool and hot tub, location had a very nice view, sufficient parking, ice make in home, large washer and dryer, large kitchen table for our big family. We met Roger, the owner, her was very nice and welcoming.
Some needed changes: stove top burners not working, main tv and remove not working, main fridge temp off, beds not comfortable, furniture very old and used, mold in shower, and wifi bad connection.

The view is the best on the ridge above Manson overlooking the Lake, all the amenities one would need the house has. The owner asked us to reach it if we needed anything. When you stay have breakfast, lunch at Blueberry Hill Farms is amazing and the Servcie is outstanding. Cheers to all involved.

We stayed for 4 nites and it cost 6600& it was very very dirty and not at all ready for rental. Pools filthy kitchen and baths filthy and most of the beds and furniture are broken broken. I can’t believe this horrendous charge for such an awful experience there was not enough garbage bags or toilet paper or paper towels, the dumpster was full when we arrived and smelled bad. The kitchen utensils where mostly dirty or broken. The upstairs bathroom toilet would not flush, it seems like a repo that just got vacuumed and put up for rental not a 1650$ per nite rental! Save your money and stay some place else! In my humble opinion anyway.

The house is large and was a great option for our family. The private pool and hot tub were a huge hit! We spent most of our time out there. This house can sleep 19 people in beds, which is really nice. One of the best features of this home is the “restaurant style” ice machine that’s located in the laundry room, there are also three refrigerators to hold enough drinks and food for a large group. Two washing machines and a large capacity dryer are also very nice. The negatives of this house, it’s very dated. The kitchen has two built in cook tops, but not all of the burners work. There are a ton of cabinets and lots of kitchen items, but many of them are not working or just worn out. The kitchen could just use a little love and organization. The bathrooms are also a bit dated, there’s a full bath upstairs, a 3/4 bath upstairs and a 3/4 bath downstairs. There’s also a 1/2 bath upstairs. The 3/4 baths are fairly small with small shower stalls. We still seemed to do ok, but I wouldn’t recommend if you needed to get everyone ready for a wedding or something. Overall, we would definitely stay here again, but this house has potential to be even better than it is. The view from this house is amazing!

The view is beautiful. The house accommodates a large group. That's the end of it. We rented for a long weekend (Frida - Monday) the 1st weekend in October. Women in our 50s, wine tasting and looking to relax in the pool and hot tub. We booked months in advance We were told the pool would be open "weather permitting". When we got there the pool was closed. I guess 80 degree weather all weekend isn't "permitting". We reached out to management and offered to pay an extra fee f they would open the pool. Management reached out to the owners all weekend...the owners (who live next door) were (intentionally) non-responsive. The owners actually showed up on Day 1 as some of my group arrived before me. They asked if it was okay to have a worker at the property for a "couple hours" on Day 2 to get some painting done. We were going wine tasting and thought "no big deal". The painter arrived at 8:30 a.m. and did not leave until 5pm. Then, he came back on Day 3 at 8:30 a.m. At 2pm his family showed up. Shortly thereafter someone started to mow the lawn. It was a nightmare. All the interference prevented us from being able to privately sunbath, enjoy the hot tubs or even sit on the deck due to the strong smell of paint/stain fumes. FYI - the hottub is so over filled with chemicals it burns your eyes, so you can't use it anyway. We actually had to leave to get privacy. Beware - they don't let you know until after you book - but check in is not until 4pm and check out is at 10am. For all the inconvenience we called the 1-800 # asked for a 12 noon check out. THe Vacasa agent was as sweet as she could be and very apologetic. She reached out to both the owners and Vacasa's local manager. Again - Crickets. No response. As if those disruptions were not enough, this home is barely surface clean. Some things you just don't notice until you've been there a minute. Upon deeper inspection there appears to be substantial mold in one of the bathrooms; a comforter had a tear and stuffing coming out, another had what appeared to be bodily fluid stains of a questionable origin as did sheets and mattress pads. Throw rugs (which number no less than 30) litter the home, are are not only a tripping hazard they are very worn and dirty. Lots of things need repair and the poor workmanship on the corner cutting attempt to upgrade the decking is noticeable (even to a bunch of women). We could get over the outdated decor by calling it "charming", dismiss the fact that there was only 1/2 roll of paper towels by excusing housekeeping for forget a little back stock of basic items - but we simple could not overlook the fact that our entire weekend was not as promised - not even by any stretch of the imagination. The non-responsiveness was inexcusable. Seriously for all the inconvenience the owner and management couldn't be bothered to even approve a 12 noon check out time on a Monday,
One final "BEWARE": There is a neighborhood that has been cleared for future homes. Lots are marked. At the dirt work stage. No curb/street yet. They are just a couple hundred yards below this property in front of the lake. It will impede the view and during the building phase - your stay will be disrupted by the sounds of construction, and dirt that the building site will be carried by the winds off the lake right into this property. Given our experience they likely won't advise you in advance that this is going on. They seem to care little about delivering what they lead you to expect.

We had someone come in while we were in town and never called to let us know they were coming.. They also hid one of our cooler bags behind the couch in the garage and moved some iof our items.

I came with a group of girls for a bachelorette party and we had a good stay. There were plenty of rooms and beds and the home was large and had lots of space for our group. The pool and hot tub was great! We did wish we had known the pool wasn’t heated as it was quite cold for coming in September. The reason why we didn’t rate this place 5 stars is because it was not clean. We found hair in the sheets, there was a big ant problem in the kitchen and overall the place didn’t feel very clean and is very outdated. We also had one of the owners show up unannounced early one of the mornings and that didn’t make us feel super comfortable. We would have appreciated a heads up and consent to come to the home while we were there.

Our kids really enjoyed the pool and love to had ice machines inside the house.
(-) the carpet look too old and may need upgraded. Pool table will made this home more valuable if install

Great house with a nice view!
Nice view from the house! Clean and cupboards had everything needed. Short drive to the city and stores. The only downside would be the stairs, very steep if you have children with you.

Spacious house, great views, some details lacking
We were a group of five, 60+ siblings on a family get-together. We love to cook, so we appreciated the centralized kitchen and overall layout of the house, allowing for privacy as well as nooks and crannies to gather and visit. Lacking was some sort of notebook with instructions on how to use the oven, dishwasher, TV remote, deal with garbage, etc. The online listing was sparse at best at describing what cooking amenities the kitchen had so that we knew what to bring or leave at home. Overall, it was fairly well supplied but consumables such as dishwasher soap, plastic wrap, foil, needed to be restocked. Cooking knives were a' plenty but all were quite dull. The toaster was broken and skillets were non-stick and frankly should be replaced. However, there were plenty of dishes, mugs, coffee makers, casserole dishes, etc. to take care of big groups. A great hot tub; and pool towels and goggles are supplied.

Great home!
We gathered for a family getaway. 5 siblings with two spouses, all senior citizens. The house worked very well for us. The owner was just wonderful. Checked on us, but not overbearing, or there too much. Magnificent view, very quiet, & more than enough room for everyone to both sleep, & visit very comfortably. We hope to go back again to this great place❤️

Perfect for large group
This huge house is so close to downtown Manson but still high enough to have an incredible lake view. Our family enjoyed the fabulous pool and spa and large lawn adjacent to pool for bocce ball and corn hole games. Plenty of space , beds and bathrooms for a large group. Owner Roger close by and quickly responded to questions we had.

Great view but needs a little updating
Great space for the family and really great view of the lake from the house. The house is a little bit outdated and so are the furnitures and the TV upstairs. The kitchen utensils are need of change also. Overall, Great location and we had fun!

We couldn’t stop talking about what a perfect retreat it was for our family vacation. We were welcomed with fresh flowers, which were a delight! The atmosphere was extremely warm and
welcoming. Quail Haven Resort was fully stocked with kitchen necessities and bathroom items, including beach towels for the pool and jacuzzi. The views were breathtaking It was great to come back to a “home away from home” after our boating trips and excursions into town. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner. His friendliness and welcoming nature made us feel right at home. (We also had the pleasure of dining at his restaurant.) All in all It was beyond a memorable experience!

Nice space needs updating.
House was a great size for our group of 13. Upstairs was pleasant with a lot of room. Bedrooms need a good updating and some of the sheets did not seem to have been changed. The house overall could use a good deep cleaning as the floor moldings and nooks and crannies were dirty.

Great house for a girls weekend to celebrate friendships. Quiet neighborhood. The view of Lake Chelan was fantastic from the house and the pool. We have already talked about maybe making an annual event.

This was by far the best B&B we have stayed in. It was clean, the beds freshly made and plenty of towels, toilet paper and Kleenex in the bathrooms. The kitchen was as well stocked as mine at home. We were to early for the pool but the hot tub was open. Manson is a quaint little town home to Blueberry Hill Restaurant where they serve amazing food using Grandma's recipes. They have an in house bakery where they make their own pies and cinnamon rolls the size of luncheon plates (at least 6 inches across). My cousins and daughters are planning a return trip.

Great view, lots of room, but dated, not so clean
It had great view, lots of room. Furnishings were very dated. Lack of cleanliness in this pandemic time is a concern ( for example, left over pill wrappers on floor, ? not so clean bath mats, dead worms and left behind goggles in pool, fingerprint smudges on tv stand, we did not know if bed spread were washed).

Old home.
My group had and enjoyable stay at Quail Haven. It was not what we expected though. The pool was awesome but there is no shade. The house is huge but quite old. The Huge dining table was great as we all liked to play cards. The kitchen is a great size but has not been cleaned thoroughly for a long time. The beds were very comfortable. There are broken blinds that took us a bit to pull them up to see a wonderful view of the Lake. One of the shower stalls had mold. . We have rented a lot of vacation rentals and all thought that it was fun but we will not rent this again.

Beautiful property, not great inside.
This house had an amazing view and pool and hot tub but the inside needs work. It’s very outdated, things falling apart or not working. And it was dirty. Looks like years of dirt not cleaned on floors, stove, baseboards. The hot tub had trash behind it left behind. We stayed during a time when the house was supposed to be thoroughly cleaned due to covid, and there’s no way that was done.

The Family That Plats Together Stays Together
Our family spent a week in this very large house. We spent most of our time at the pool, relaxing and visiting. There was a lot of space for setting up games and puzzles and a ping pong table in the garage. The property includes a large grassy area for outdoor games and even swings for little ones. We had a wonderful week!

The house was huge!! we went with another family and lots of spare rooms and bathrooms!
The house could be cleaner but no other house could beat the view, pool and outdoor amenities. Also, would have been nice if the BBQ Grill was in the backyard instead of front of the entrance door on different level. It was ok but a little inconvenient.
