EASY ACCESS TO GAS AND YOUNGS COUNTRY STORE. FOUR BEDROOMS, ONE AND A HALF BATHROOMS. OPEN CONCEPT LIVING ROOM,DINNING ROOM AND KITCHEN, WITH WIFI/DISH TV. ELECTRIC WOOD BURNING STOVE FOR AMBIENCE COMFORT, ENCLOSED HEATED PORCH WITH SCREENS, DECK WITH GRILL,OUT BACK A CAMP FIRE PIT. SMALL HEATED GARAGE UNDER THE HOUSE FOR TWO TO THREE SNOWMOBILES. LAKE FRANCIS STATE PARK AND LAKE FRANCIS ARE WITHIN ONE MILE, ALSO CLOSE TO THE 1ST CT. LAKE AND BACK LAKE. HUNTING, FISHING, HIKING, FLY FISHING ARE ALL WITHIN ONE MILE TO THIS PROPERTY. THERE IS ALSO A GENERATOR ON THE PROPERTY WHICH WILL GENERATE POWER FOR THE HOUSE IF THE POWER SHOULD GO OUT. DO NOT RUN THE CLOTHES DRYER WHEN ON GENERATOR POWER.

Air Conditioner died the first night. The Refrigerator would not get cold even thou it was turn up all the way. The fan in the bedroom does not work. The sleep number bed does not work. The lamp in the in the bedroom with the bunks is broken. The recliner in the living room is broken, the sofa has slits in the leather between the cushions. The TV in the downstairs bedroom has a note on it saying this TV is not hooked up. Called owner 2 times. Took him 3 hours to come and look at the Air Conditioner. Said he doesn't know how to fix it. Starting punching buttons it came on, so he left. 4 hrs later it died again. We called and he never called back or came back. We told him about the Refrigerator and showed him the tray under the refrig was clogged with lint and the refrig is not getting cold. He just said well the cleaning ladies don't clean that. Would not call anyone to come and fix the problems.

Another great trip. This was our 4th family vacation at this property. Perfect location, love the ATV access. Property owners always have a great response time with any questions. House is very clean and homey.

We had a great experience in this beautiful cabin. We had rented the house to go snowmobiling but Mother Nature had other plans and we were left with no snow. The young teen boys ventured off into the woods to explore for hours! The probably outside was beautiful. We were pleased with the spacious inside and could not believe how clean this house was. We had 4 teen boys, a lab, and 4 adults and there was plenty of space for all. We played games, enjoyed the fire pit outside, and loved watching the sunrise with coffee on the 4 season porch. We will be coming back!

This is the third or fourth time we have rented this property for a yearly event. We come up to snowmobile and generally relax for a few days. The property is clean, comfortable, and Peter is very accommodating to any sort of special needs that we have asked for. Nothing big, but he always make sure we are set up

We've stayed at this house multiple times now and it does not disappoint. Plenty of room to spread out, close to everything while still feeling private. Always clean and well stocked, communication with the owner is prompt and easy.

This was our second time staying at this home. It was as clean and comfortable as we remember. We like spending time talking over coffee in the ultra quiet and comfortable sunroom that faces Mt. Magalloway. One of the nights got down to -27° but we were warm and toasty inside. There was plenty of room for our vehicles and trailer, and we enjoyed snowmobiling right from the property daily. Everything was in order when we arrived, with the gas fireplace even lit to welcome us. Perfect for our family.

This is what dreams are made of. Very quiet and peaceful. Your blood pressure will drop 20 points. Very clean and spacious. My dog enjoyed the yard to run around in. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for relaxation.

The house was very nice. It was clean and had everything we needed for our long stay. The back deck was our go to place for our morning coffee and evening hangouts. The back screened in porch was perfect for the cooler mornings. The only things that caught us off guard was one of the downstairs bedrooms didn't have a door for privacy, and it was a great room with a half bath. The other was because we stayed over a certain length of time, we had to take our trash with us or to the dump station. We've never had to do that before. Overall, we really enjoyed the place and would definitely stay there again. I highly recommend it!

Perfect out of the way place
Nice place to stay on the ORHV trail system, a mile from a gas station and a decent restaurant. Quite area with neighbors not to close, house was nice plenty of room but a/c wasn’t working or there wasn’t any or I did know how to use it, other then that was a nice place to relax after a long day of riding.

BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY INSIDE AND OUT
Hillside is simply fantastic! This is our second stay (both in June). The house is impeccable and comfortable both inside and out. The sunroom with a full view of the mountains is my favorite spot. It has tall/wide windows with screens that allow a nice breeze to flow in. The house is situated on a quiet street that allowed for nice walks and bike rides with our 3 year old granddaughter. The large back yard and front yard were were simply amazing. We could all be outside and enjoy every bit of the property with minimal (almost non-existent) vehicles going by. Outdoors was a very safe place for our granddaughter to enjoy almost uninhibited (we certainly had eyes on her at all times but the environment truly felt safe for her which allowed us to really enjoy the the outdoors with her). I can't say enough great things about Hillside - its safe, comfortable, quiet, impeccably clean with a perfect floor plan for families (we had 5 adults and a 3 year old in our group). I also have to mention the bathrooms. I'm pretty picky when its comes to them and the full and half bath were 110% up to my standards - the tub in the full bath was pristine which allowed our 3 year old to enjoy a bath. Lastly, the bedding, and linens were super comfortable and we had more than enough towels available for all of us. We will be back!

Family disconnect
This was our second year in Pittsburg and we are hooked. We loved the location of this cabin and the privacy that it offered. We also appreciated that it was close to the trails for when we wanted to venture out on the sleds. The garage and mud room were a welcome treat after some long and chilly rides. My ten year old son gives this cabin a million on a scale of 0-10. All the necessities are available. We hoped to stay again next year but someone else beat us to it.

Family Memories at North Country Retreat!
Love the cozy space, perfect setup for three couples. Comfortable beds in ALL bedrooms!! Even though snowmobile trails were not open we made beautiful family memories playing games, cooking, hiking, cocktails and bonfires. Peter was very responsive to our inquires which we appreciated. Great ATV Riding week
The ATV trail is just a few minutes down the road. A convivence store with gas and deli just a few minutes down the road. The house was great in a great neighborhood. You have less than a five minute drive to two different lakes. Great place!

Beautiful home
The check in was very easy and they even checked in with us to make sure we were able to get in ok.. We had a wonderful time and the home was great. Very well stocked and very clean and comfortable. The deck and the screen room was very nice as well as the back yard. Had plenty of room for croquet and other yard games. Great location to get to the lakes and Youngs within minutes. Would highly recommend and stay again. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a great family vacation.

Amazing
This home is on a quiet road on a beautiful lot with direct access to the ATV trails. The house was spacious but cozy at the same time. The overall layout of the home was so comfortable. The three season porch overlooking the manicured backyard with a view of the mountains was my favorite morning spot to have coffee and enjoy the sunrise. Everything about this home inside and out - the beds, linens, fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms, manicured lawn, sitting area out front, etc. were all up to date, clean and welcoming. We already made our reservation for next year!!

Place was great! Very homey and spacious. ATV trail is right off the property. Young’s store is literally a 3 minute ATV ride away. We would certainly rent here again.
