About this house rental
Every rental between May 1st and October 31st comes with the free use of our 2022 Manitou 23’ Aurora LE 150HP Tritoon on every day of your rental. Just pay a separate, fully refundable, ***$500 security deposit directly to the owner before arrival and the boat is yours to use at your leisure. This very pontoon rents for $525/day at the marina making this amenity a $3700 weekly value. It's almost like renting a pontoon and getting a lake house for free!! Prepare to be blown away by the long range views this home features. Wall of windows with unobstructed view overlooking Tillery's main channel . Pet friendly with pet fee, 3 B/R, 2 1/2 bath with room to sleep 10. Completely renovated and newly furnished in 2022. Backyard renovation completed in April of '22 which includes a new 20 X 20 deck with a gazebo and TV, sectional seating with gas fire pit and bar area. There is also a new 20X30 paver patio with wood burning fire pit and high-end outdoor kitchen. The outdoor kitchen includes a grill, griddle, professional grade wood burning pizza oven, outdoor refrigerator, 25lb/day ice maker and 2nd outdoor bar. The third outdoor entertaining area is a screened in Porch with beautiful outdoor furniture for your morning coffee overlooking the lake. MBR has a sliding door to private balcony with an unobstructed expansive view of the lake. Completely renovated and fully outfitted kitchen for all your cooking needs. All new stainless appliances. Bathrooms have all been completely renovated in '24 which include luxurious, spa like walk in showers that have multiple body sprayers and rainfall shower heads. All linens and towels are provided free of charge along with an initial set up of all paper products and laundry detergent. There is also a very convenient, private, personal boat launch right next door to the house for your personal boat or jet skis. Dock has an additional elevated deck perched over the lake for endless views. it contains an outdoor sectional sofa and gas fire pit. Deep water. 20’ at the end of the dock. Great for diving, swimming and fishing. The kids and adults alike will love the 15 foot long unsinkable water pad that is included for guest use. Use the included kayak for a relaxing tour of the lake along with the free use of our 23’ 2022 model 150HP Tritoon (May-Oct) to really take your lake vacation to the next level.** (Night time pontoon operation is not authorized due to insurance purposes.) Fish off the dock while taking in the view of Tillery's main channel or watch the big game on the 70” television located right on the dock while floating in the lake with a cocktail. There is also an additional 80" outdoor TV on the patio to watch drive in style movies at night while the family roasts marshmallows around the fire pit. Families will enjoy a wide selection of board games, a DVD library and even an ice cream machine to make delicious homemade ice cream. Bring your ski boat, canoe, paddle board and your jet skis. Dock has room for all of your lake toys.

My family throughly enjoyed our time at Sebastian’s property. The home has fantastic views and plenty of room to spread out outdoors. The use of the boat certainly made the trip! We were fortunate enough to have mostly sunny weather to enjoy getting out on and into the water. Any questions we did have were quickly addressed by Sebastian, which we really appreciated. Our family of five, plus our dog, has a wonderful vacation at Lake Tillery! The home was spacious and clean. The outdoor patio and decks were so relaxing. And the use of the boat provided hours of fun. Without doubt, we will be back.

Perfect house for family of 7 and our dog :) We enjoyed the house and the lake but most of all we loved the access to the boat. Outdoor deck was nice, we look forward to coming back in the fall to enjoy more fishing and evenings by the fire.

This was an annual family vacation with my husband’s mother, our grown children, and grandchildren. The location is prime, the house was immaculate, the amenities were awesome, especially the outdoor kitchen and all the space, seating, decks, fire pits, etc. The outside list is endless. Our big perk was the use of the boat on a daily basis, and we certainly got our use of the screened in porch. Highly recommended, and our entire clan loved it!

We stayed 4 nights at this lake property and had a great time. The house was perfect for all activities, whether relaxing on one of the multiple decks to watch the sun go down, sitting around the fire pit after dinner, lounging on the floats off the deck or cruising on the boat around the lake. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend but the water temperature was close to 80 degrees so very comfortable. The house has every amenity you can think of from sonos speakers both inside and along the deck, a full high end bbq with an outdoor griddle, a pizza oven and outdoor tvs in several areas. There was ample seating to eat outside on the top deck with a canopy or the lower level with raised counters for a larger group around the bbq and fire pit. Also a screened in seating area off the den which was a nice feature for one of the nights when it rained. The pictures are accurate and the house was clean when we arrived. The owner was responsive when we had questions during the stay and he spent a few minutes with us on the phone when we initially arrived to walk us through some of the features and setup. The lake is clean and easy to navigate. It was busy on the Saturday but not as crazy as other lakes we have visited around NC. The house is in a good location near one end of the lake and there is a Dollar General within a mile and they carry a lot of food, ice and beer which was helpful. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to renting again in the future. Highly recommend

The property and the view lived up to all expectations from the information provided online. Having use of the pontoon boat was a real plus, and not something a lot of property owners will do. The boathouse, decks and all the outdoor amenities are first class. We loved using the gas firepit and the outdoor griddle and eating space. The house is very nice and has everything you will need. Our daughters joined us for a couple of nights and we all had a great time. We even caught a few fish.

This house was perfect. It had absolutely everything we needed to enjoy our stay on the lake with friends. The house was cozy and nicely updated. Tons of entertaining space and lots of room to fit two families of 4.
I can't think of any negative things to say about the house, in fact, we were going to probably make this a yearly vacation with our close friends and kids each Summer. The house didn't have fishing poles, but we went right down to the store and purchased two rods and left them there for future guests to enjoy.
The kids caught tons of fish right from the dock and were able to always keep themselves busy if we were not on the boat having fun. The house is in a great location and easy in and out for the boat as well.
Nothing else to say about that house other than if you are interested or on the fence, book it. You are going to have a great time!

We had a great time at the lake with all our family and girlfriends and all. Being on the water was so peaceful and having the boat was a definite added plus. We really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and made wood fired pizzas for the first time. Trip to Albemarle was easy for any supplies we needed. Would stay here again.

My family and I have visited this property for the second time. The home has everything anyone would need, with great amenities such as the splash pad, the boat, and the outdoor entertaining area. Sebastian is prompt and very friendly, he worked to help meet all our needs. I highly recommend this property.

From the beautiful view, the outdoor kitchen and living spaces to the fun boat rides, this property made our vacation extra special. The house was super clean, and the beds comfortable. We loved the location and it was easy to run to town for lunch, dinner and supplies.
Sebastian is an excellent host and made sure we were happy, along with providing excellent communication on the use of the boat.

This was a great place to stay with everything you could possibly want at a lake house. Property was clean with detailed instructions and a whole host of outdoor items such as grill, griddle, pizza oven, icemaker, fridge, boat, life jackets, lily pad, etc. Music was also available at the dock and on the boat through bluetooth. Beds were extremely comfortable as well as having everything we needed inside the house. Bottle of wine waiting on us when we arrived and Sebastion, our host, was great to deal with. Would definitely stay here again!!

All I can say is that our stay and Sebastian (Our Host) exceeded our expectations in every way! The property was easy to find with plenty of room to get our two vehicles in and out of. The property looked up to date on the latest trends and fashions in décor and amenities and the location on the lake was in the best possible place for a view as well as boating and swimming. Inside there was plenty of space along with creature comforts to make our stay enjoyable and low on stress. Our family was also appreciative of Sebastian's willingness to rent out his boat for family use.
I am a Stanly County native and my only regret about this property is that I have not come here sooner but I can assure you that we will be back for more visits.

It’s our 7th year vacationing at Lake Tillery and Badin Lake and the first time we stayed at this property, what a gem! The host, Sebastian, couldn’t have been any more accommodating and in tune to any need or question we may have had. The newly modeled outdoor kitchen was a treat. The kids loved making their own personal pizzas baked in the pizza oven. But the highlight of the days were always the family boat rides and anchoring out in a nearby cove to swim. I myself, enjoyed getting up before the kids, and heading out to fish in the early, quiet mornings. What a relaxing time! The family has voted this place to be their favorite and can’t wait to come back next year. Thanks Sebastian, great time.

This property is amazing. Perfect for our family getaway. Everyone had their own space, and we enjoyed the outdoor amenities. Most of our time was spent outside. WOW! I can not say enough great things about this vacation home! If you think this home is beautiful in the pictures, just wait until you see it in person! The view of the lake is absolutely gorgeous, and it is the perfect way to relax. The house has everything you would ever need to enjoy your stay on the water. Sebastian was such a kind and accommodating host. He was also very quick to respond and incredibly helpful. We had so much fun on the pontoon boat, watching football while picking crabs on the dock, and making our own pizzas in the wood burning oven! We can not wait to until our next trip to Lake Tillery! This was my family's first time visiting Lake Tillery and we really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for what we needed and just as the pictures showed. The outdoor spaces are great and we used the outdoor kitchen to have several amazing meals! We loved the lake toys at the property and the favorite was the lily pad/floating pad. The host was available for communication as needed and very helpful!

This is our second stay at this amazing rental. It is as advertised. The upgrades are Top Notch. The outdoor kitchen has all the bells and whistles. Plan your menu because between grilling steaks to breakfast on the flat top there’s no need to eat out. We didn’t use the pizza oven but it looks nice. House is comfortable and clean the kitchen has everything you need. Lastly, this house is in a little neighborhood of 5 or 6 homes. The neighbors are nice and always speak. It is welcoming and quiet.

A little piece of Heaven
Let me first say that Sebastian was such a great host! This property is amazing!!! From the first initial message to him up until check out anything we needed or any questions we had he was very responsive and attentive….. now the property hands down the best vacation we’ve had in years!! Our children are in college and it was us and boy did we have fun! We rented his pontoon and enjoyed it for the week also! The pictures don’t do it any justice. The outside space is phenomenal! We literally enjoyed the dock and toys all day!! The pizza oven and hibachi grill are a great bonus!! There is so much room to entertain! We had friends camping in Norwood who came to hang out a day with us and we had plenty of room!! Let me say this because I read it on a review… the day we got there the mayflies started to hatch. So for two days they were out there . While there are lots of them it was a no bother! That’s all nature and honestly they didn’t bother us other than the fact they were everywhere. That only happens like 2 or 3 times a year and it happen to be while we was there but it didn’t change or damper our experience at all! We will definitely be returning again! Thanks for sharing your home with us! We loved everything about it!

Amazing Stay
What an amazing lakefront home. The outdoor living was the best. Upgrades to the outdoor living areas exceeded any expectations. The outdoor kitchen with the Wood fire Pizza Oven and flat top griddle overlooking the lake made cooking on vacation worth every minute. Would recommend this property to anyone. Owner was great with communicating back and forth when needed. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your amazing home.

Great Lake Retreat
Very nice property with lots of new upgrades. Great dock for relaxing, fishing, and entertaining. Pontoon rental was very convenient and it is a nice, well-maintained boat. Outdoor kitchen was fun! Kids loved pizza oven. No lack of places to sit, relax, and enjoy the lake views. Monday-Friday are pretty quiet on the water but the weekends do get busy. House is close to town for groceries or other last minute forgot-to-brings. House sleeps two couples and 2-6 younger kids comfortably. Upgraded kitchen, great living room, nice screened porch, great upper decks. Owners were very communicative, easy to reach, and we would reccomend renting this property. Thanks again!

The place was great to stay. Everything was clean, there was a new deck and amenities were better than expected. My friends and I had an amazing time. The scenery was beautiful! The owner was great to work with and communication was great as well.

This is probably one of the better properties I have stayed at. There were really great Outdoor gathering spaces that we were able to relax at and eat outdoors. The inside was very clean and modern. We did have a problem with the Air Conditioning, but the owner was very tentative and was able to get someone out the next morning to get it fixed. (While being out of the country as well). Depending on the size of your boat/trailer you may/or may not be able to use the boat ramp at the end of the road, however there are two other boat ramps within a mile of the house. The mooring whips were really great to use. I did bring a couple extra ropes to secure the boat a little more. We all had a great time and did not have to worry about anything while we were there. Definitely will be back for another visit.
